There are times Senator Kennedy makes me cringe, but I've come to believe he is sincere and probably more honest than your typical politician. Yes, he was being recorded, but it wasn't like he was posturing for some MSM news camera.
I like Senator Kennedy, enjoy clips of him eviscerating liberals during hearings, but this did make me cringe. Empathy for a postponed football game while responders are still clearing the sidewalks of the dead struck me wrong. They are not equally affecting. (OK, I may be a bit sensitive on the subject. Football bores me silly and I come from a football mad family. )

Yeah Kennedy. Talks tough for the camera but behind the scenes votes for libtard legislation like Lankford's open borders bill. I stopped being impressed by these YouTube heroes who grandstand during televised hearings then do jack shit when it's time to make something happen. Gowdy and Chaffetz were the two loudest a few years ago, and now Chaffetz is a lobbyist and Gowdys on FOX News. Big talk, do nothing.
If every Republican Senator were to model themselves after Senator Kennedy, the country would be much, much better off.
I am glad that Johnson won for speaker, i did not like the porkulus demofeeding cr, but that got modified, every Eisenhower has his DeGaulle. Just keep tabs. Better than a food fight that would detract from the critical first month of action. But who knows the future?
