The children visible in the video look too young to even remotely understand what she is reading to them, but I suppose it's not really about them, is it? Whatever.

I would also think an elementary teacher could read a children’s book far better. She’s stumbling and nervous. Out, out, damn spot.
Let’s compare this with Bush 2’s (though I’m not a fan) finishing reading a short children’s book to little kids as 9/11 went down. He didn’t scare the kids. He tried to control himself and did well. He got out as fast as he could while knowing his staff was compiling information. I didn’t like all his subsequent responses, to say the least, but that was the behavior of a decent and competent man.
Joe and Jill went up the Hill to profit in Spring. Joe fell down, molested his daughter, canceled his granddaughter, and Jill came tumbling after.
Although the child is obviously a well paid professional actor, it is kind of a nice scene.
Oh, stop it. Biden's been a grandfather quite often and for a long time and he's still got the reflexes. Same with being a politician - he'll smile and shake. But he isn't fit to be the leader of the free world just because he's less faded as a grandfather than as that leader. Is Iran building neclear weapons - you think that guy knows? I don't. Is Syria's new leader faking a desire for peace or expressing the wishes of the Syrian people. Does Biden have any thoughts of his own on that? I think not. So go away, Joe. There was none (although I stopped about 80% through). Joe seemed like a normal grandpa acting appropriately with a toddler that perhaps wasn’t but did not know any better nor was behaving poorly. It was a nice video.

This was my only reaction to this video. I don't know her classroom experience, but in early childhood education, it seems pretty non-negotiable to me to learn to read a picture book with the pictures facing the children. I had zero training or experience in education when I was inexplicably hired to be director of my church's preschool, but I knew how to hold the books I read to the littles at library time just from watching Romper Room as a small child myself.
Very cute toddler, and I didn't have any issue with Mr. Biden's behavior toward him. But Dr. Jill needs better picture book skills.

Good grief, has Jill EVER read that poem before? Wooden delivery. (FWIW I wrote a version for some friends of mine and put it on my podcast. It's a fun exercise and I recommend it if you want something fun to think about in the next couple of days! My delivery was much better.)
As I rule I think good taste requires that you understand the words you use to insult people.
