Trump likened to a lion and to Elon Musk's rocket.

In this ad, tweeted last night by Elon Musk:

I have to just try to imagine the people who get all jazzed up by music and montage like that. Here's something — also pro-Trump and heavy on the A.I. — that I saw yesterday and found more appealing:

FWIW the current MSG is the fourth venue to bear that name, opened in 1968. It is not the same one the Nazis used in 1939.

That's a typifying metaphor. Lions are typically brave, so it says Trump is brave. You're not supposed to think of lions being cruel.

Good grief. I didn't think the Nazi! attack could get any dumber, but I was wrong.

While the corrupt media said immediately after the shots were fired at Trump - that all of Trump's assassins are 'Resisted Republicans" or or or "Former Trump supporters!"... all
total manufactured lies and BS . Obedient losers spread Maddow-like lies, with faked twitter photos/X-links.

The Butler PA paid patsy - conveniently taken out right after he killed Corey and tried to kill Trump - was featured in Democrat party supporting mega-corp BLACKROCK ad.

And then, there are the people who get all jazzed up by vibes and joy. And celebrity singers, but only if they do free concerts.

Trump said yesterday the Republicans have become the party of inclusion. Does that mean the Democrats are the party of delusion?

There was a very brief Andre Rieu snippet toward the beginning. That’s what the MSG rally reminded me of: a political Andre Rieu concert! A little bit of everything, and it just keeps coming. Andre and Don even look kind of alike, especially the hair….

This Halloween AI video of Trump playing guitar to CCR’s “Fortunate Son” is fun. Putin on drums. Kamala and Obama as clowns…

It's obviously a gender election. There's opposite Venus and Mars energies between the two campaigns. Women want abortion, abortion, abortion. The Kamala surrogates are scolding men who aren't falling in line. And women are fine with migrants getting dumped on middle class towns...as long as it's not their town. Same thing with the fentanyl inner city infestation. White women don't care.

Men want to launch rockets. Musk is right. This is a defining moment for Western civilization. I still think it is a speed bump on a downward trajectory toward eventual totalitarianism. I don't think you can fix the damage done by the education establishment. Perhaps if after the election we see young men, black men, and Latino men really breaking away from the Democrats there may be hope.

My teenagers love the anime that song was taken from. I imagine it's going to appeal to the young kids. I thought it was bizarre but I also hate anime and just took Crunchyroll off the Roku because a bunch of homework and chores were missed this weekend.

Women want abortion, abortion, abortion.

I think maybe there are some women who want abortion, abortion, abortion (which I read as "no consequences for my bad, face-saving decisions" - and I would love to get a read on what proportion of abortions* result from women's being unwilling to ask their sexual partners to use a condom, their unwillingness to say, "Not tonight, I forgot my [insert female-use mechanical contraceptive here]," and their unwillingness to use hormonal birth control because some of the side effects - which I experienced, and which made me give up on hormonal birth control - can include mood swings and weight gain). And I think those women honestly believe that all women want abortion, abortion, abortion.

Certainly the Houston Harris rally had no other messages - every giant screen was emblazoned with FREEDOM FREEDOM FREEDOM that would morph into REPRODUCTIVE FREEDOM. But as I said on a cafe thread a couple of days ago, they - very dishonestly, I think - relayed that message via only edge examples of crimes and tragedies, not anything to do with women's actually choosing an abortion as an option they simply believe will benefit them.

* And I would also like to know what proportion of abortions are coerced or forced by men. Please do not read this as a denouncement of men in general - but we know, do we not, that some prostitutes are forced to have abortions, as are certainly many pregnant victims of incest or women in abusive relationships?

Scott Adams has asked if women would have been ok with illegal immigration if the migrants were mostly women 20 to 40. Do women treat illegal immigration as less of a problem because on some level they see their prospects (their daughters’ prospects as well) looking for a mate improving with an influx of men?
It!s an interesting way to look at the issue.

It was so funny that Kamala lied to people about Beyonce singing (twice!)

She's literally inspiring people to vote against her.

And Kamala is standing at the podium, boos all around her, and she's trying to calm the crowd by saying, "Later, Later," like Beyonce is going to come back and sing.

I associate Venus with love and Mars with war.

Women want abortion, abortion, abortion.

Abortion is an act of war on a lovely baby. I dispute that women want abortions. Young women might think that they need abortions. Women who have babies are much more pro-life. That's why women routinely poll as more pro-life than men. The biggest fans of abortion are young, single men -- the Playboy demo.

It depends on how you define coercion. "I don't love you, I'm not marrying you, and you will raise this baby by yourself." I suspect there are huge numbers of those conversations going on.

Bergman put one of those conversations in his magnificent film, Wild Strawberries (starts at the 1:00 mark).

Feminists: "Men often coerce sex."

Feminists: "Men never coerce abortion."

Saint Croix said...

Some numbers on coercion.

Hundreds of thousands of abortions are coerced every year, according to that study.

Make it a tort, and we'll see which party supports women.
