Maher is allegedly a comedian. He is not a serious person by definition. The “icky” factor is no way to pick a President.

I think that's about right. Some measured, intelligent comments from the right that I might disagree with, but think are stated well enough that they require some thought before responding. But lots of right wing craziness.

We now know that there were plenty of lefty publications during the 60s and 60s that had financial support from the CIA because it let them see who was writing activist, commie stuff and what they were saying. I wonder sometimes if this site lets the "deep state" have a source for viewing the fringe right-wing thought I see here sometimes. I think you missed the point he was making. Hitler opposed FDR, FDR was a democrat. Trump opposes Harris, Harris is a democrat. Ergo, Trump is the same as Hitler. Party platforms and dis/favored -isms don't come into it.
