I think we deserve an explanation of how Biden is giving our tax dollars toward student debt forgiveness. SCOTUS said not so fast, so Biden went faster. Yes, student loans should be discharged in bankruptcy, where vendors and borrowers equitably and inclusively share responsibility for their bad choices. The price of education will be reduced. The same would have happened to the primary deficit forcing: medical and pharmaceutical, before Obama decided to sustain prices and share responsibility with the general public. The issue is prices, the issue is viable education, and personal responsibility, not affordability per se.

But the vendors and borrowers don't want to share responsibility. They want those uninvolved in the loans to make up for any losses.

Has Biden put forward a proposal to fix it? Why burden taxpayers at this juncture, instead of universities and colleges? Why not re-privatize it? She never addresses the unfairness to those who are being forced to pay for this. It’s as if she doesn’t even agree that it’s unfair and immoral.
I’m hopeful that this whole debt forgiveness thing helps independents decide to not vote for Biden-Harris.
