This is just a small but very interesting section of the rotten piece of shit the Senate called a border security bill,

“(j) Notwithstanding any other provision of this Act, judicial review of any decision or action in this section shall be governed only by the United States District Court for the District of Columbia, which have sole and original jurisdiction to hear challenges, whether constitutional or otherwise, to the validity of this section or any written policy directive, written policy guideline, written procedure, or the implementation thereof, issued by or under the authority of the Secretary to implement this section.”

"Only by the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia..."

Really? Are you kidding me, Republicans voted for this?

Listening to Bach BVW 82 Ich Habe Genu[n]g (I have enough), it's nice enough but after the guy sings Ich habe genung many times I've had enough. YouTube suggests Erbarme Dich St Matthews Passion BVW 266. My God Bach cuts this stuff off by the yard.

The latter does a nicer job not that the first was awful. Occasionally you get breasts to look at, which affects judgment.

Remember, this is a bill drafted in secret, released over the weekend when it's thought that no one will be paying attention. The U.S. Chamber of Commerce got what it wanted thanks to RINO (USCC-OK) James Lankford. Disowned by the OK Republican Party (USCC-OK) Lankford.

The Dems have been using jurisdiction to shape their lawfare push. Illinois is more than 500 miles North to South. The General Assembly made a small change; if you want to sue the State of Illinois the cases will be heard only in Springfield or Chicago.

Another move by the glutton governor administration, the courts ruled on the latest gun bill only after the Gov JB gave a million dollars each to two candidate for the State Supreme Court. The ladies won and promptly upheld the law.

Today seems like an appropriate day to remember how many "republicans" insist the only way to return to "republican" "success" is to drive Trump out of the party and let the "adults" run things.

https://dailycaller.com/2024/02/05/florida-lawmaker-proposes-bill-to-legalize-killing-crack-bears-report/
A Florida lawmaker recently proposed a bill to legalize killing black bears high on crack, according to The Guardian.

i wasn't really clear; if this was to legalize killing bears WHILE high on crack, or when THEY were high on crack.. But then i tried reading the next line in the report..

Republican Florida state congressman Jason Shoaf’s legislation seeks to remove most penalties for killing bears without authorization, which he says would stop the allegedly drugged animals from entering households and “tearing them apart,”

So, NOW, i'm Not Sure, if you are only allowed to kill the drugged animals BY tearing them apart..

“We’re talking about the ones that are on crack, and they break your door down, and they’re standing in your living room growling and tearing your house apart,” Shoaf reportedly informed the Florida state House’s Infrastructure Strategies Committee during a meeting debating his bill.

“When you run into one of these crack bears, you should be able to shoot it, period. And you shouldn’t have to pause or be afraid you’re gonna get arrested or harassed or pay fines. That’s just crazy,” the legislator added before the committee, the outlet reported.

so!
It's the BEARS that are using the crack.. Not the hunters..
It's the BEARS that tearing up the HOUSES.. Not the hunters tearing up the bears..
And, YES; it's by SHOOTING the bears that you'll be allowed to kill them..
Just shows HOW IMPORTANT it is, to read the entire article; because otherwise, It might all sound Crazy!

What's funny is that if they hadn't been so hysterical over Trump, they could have coopted him and he'd be finishing up his second term right now as a moderately successful, but ultimately forgettable, president. Instead, they may give him the greatest political comeback in history, as well as set him up to be one of the most influential men in the last century. Trump might very well come into office with wars in the Middle East and Europe, looming wars in Asia and South America, a massive immigration crisis, and a sputtering economy on the brink of another recession. Add in that he'll likely get one or two more SCOTUS picks.

All because they couldn't stand that Hillary! lost.

It was only a matter of time before someone died from mask wearing- an innocent infant, murdered by mask wearing covidiots afraid of their own shadow.
https://www.conservativewoman.co.uk/mask-mania-claims-a-little-boys-life/

In the USA, as far as we know, since we know it would never be reported, no one actually died from mask wearing. Though at least one female teenage athlete collapsed during a race when forced to mask up- after all- the government said it was safe to wear them during vigorous exercise. They never did any good, and probably filled one entire landfill if you added to total volume that were used then discarded. Also, apparently, since many were thrown in the street, they did clog up a few sewer systems since they didn't dissolve in water. That was reported, but not in national news. No negative news permitted. Although the news did report on one school that TAPED a mask onto a recalcitrant student. And the adults involved were NOT charged with aggravated assault or child abuse... I do believe that happened more than once.

And as is now being revealed- the Whitehouse itself was involved in suppressing books from Amazon containing information that THEY labelled misinformation. A lot of government officials deserve to dangle at the end of a rope for covidiocy policies. And I'm not the only person saying that. And curiously, I wasn't actually harmed- Neither did my wife. I never had an mRNA shot, and never will. No matter how good they say it is.

Viruses are going to virus. They're going to infect people. There's some things that can be done to minimize the damage. None of which were used during the covidiocy. And turns out there are a LOT of antiviral medicines and supplements. But since all of the currently known ones are off patent, it doesn't pay anyone to do very expensive double blind studies.

Conservative who are coincidentally Republicans are opposed. Ted Cruz (My 2026 primary choice), J.D. Vance, Mike Lee, of course Rand Paul, and apparently independent (ha-ha!) Bernie Sanders because it includes no strings attached aid to Israel. So there's something for everyone to dislike. And little for anyone to like.

Bill de Blasio wants tougher border security.

The hardest thing for the lunatic left to cope with as -- one by one -- they recognize the error of their ways, is having to admit that Republicans were right.]

So de Blasio explains his wild shift by saying the failure to enforce a secure border is empowering the right wing. And that is by his definition wrong, the wrongest, the scariest, the worst. So now he can take a Republican position without having to admit his error or that Republicans were right all along. Now a Progressive can be a Republican because it is to stop the Right Wing.

I think I have that right. I am pretty sure it is going to be happening more and more. Can we complete the process while we still have a sovereign nation and before it goes bankrupt? That is the problem the Democrats continue to give America. It is a race against time to Deport Every Illegal, and to bring back budgets.

Nikki Haley raised concerns about Trump's "mental fitness" after the former President confused her with former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.

“By the way, they never report the crowd on Jan 6. You know Nikki Haley, Nikki Haley, Nikki Haley, you know, they — do you know they destroyed all the information, all the evidence, everything, deleted and destroyed all of it. All of it,” Trump said.

“Because of lots of things … like Nikki Haley is in charge of security — we offered her 10,000 people, soldiers, National Guards, whatever they want. They turned it down. They don’t want to talk about that. These are very dishonest people,” he added.

So who would vote for Trump, who certainly is an insane idiot?

The purpose of the Senate border bill is to tie Trump's hand, should he somehow overcome the dastardly array of banana republic legal jeopardy, dedicated undermining by the tech oligarchs who control, to a large extent, what information we can see, a thoroughly hostile media, incurious about anything contrary to the interests of their billionaire owners, and the Democrat fraud machine.

Once the Democrats win the House, even once, and control the Senate and the Presidency, the border will be forced open by law, all newcomers will be turned into legal voters, and the republic, to which we all pledged allegiance as children, will no longer stand. Not only will the golden eggs be divided up among the dominant identity groups, and log rolling will be the order of the day, but healthy portions of goose will be served up alongside until the whole thing collapses, because, you know, the dirt here is not actually magic.

I don't blame people for thinking that China is behind all of this, because it sure seems like our country is being run by its enemies.

"The US is on an unsustainable fiscal policy...."

Plus we have weaponized the dollar, demonized our economic rivals as an "axis of evil" and now are looking like we are going to seize the sovereign assets of a country we don't like, all because we believe that "there is no alternative to the dollar." I am sure that China can't possibly imagine us getting mad at them, though, so they will continue, along with Saudi Arabia, etc, to risk their country's wealth by keeping it invested in the West.

There is no *easy* alternative to the dollar, but with the computing power available now to even the tiniest nation, there are alternatives available, as the risks increase with the dollar, risks even out, and we are driving countries to them. There was no alternative to the Pound Sterling, either; the US dollar was not convertible, until, one day, the demand created mechanisms which created an alternative. Nobody says "sound as a dollar" anymore.
