Trump is way ahead of Biden in Georgia and Michigan... according to CNN.

"CNN Polls: Trump leads Biden in Michigan and Georgia as broad majorities hold negative views of the current president."

Isn't impossible to visualize an Electoral College win for Biden if he loses those states? Here's an interactive Electoral College map.

How does Trump look in GA and MI if the election officials in Atlanta and Detroit get sleepy at 11 pm? That's the real number that matters.

Gusty Winds said...

The only question is will Democrat absentee voter fraud in Detroit and Atlanta work like it did in 2020?

Trump won MI and GA in 2020. Acting surprised that he is leading in the polls is just stupid.

Nah, Biden will win Texas, because Beto has told us numerous times he is going to flip Texas blue.

BTW, in Houston, not only did Sheila Jackson Lee lose 35 to 65 in the run-off election for mayor, but Republican/Conservatives won 3 out of 5 at-large positions during the run-off.

It’s been many months since I thought Joe Biden would be the nominee. Joe can join LBJ in bowing out with some degree of grace.

Interesting, and gratifying of course. But irrelevant since Biden will not be the Democrat candidate.

It's impossible to visualize a Biden defeat because the Democrats are an all powerful and all knowing force for global domination. No Republicans will ever be elected from now until the second civil war.

The trouble with this kind of thinking is it doesn't hold up to the scrutiny of fundamental analysis. Historically there are correlations between certain states that can be explained by similar demographic populations. OH and PA are remarkably similar in voter makeup- race, gender economics, on and on. Thus they historically hold a similar voting pattern with each other...that is, up until the previous election in 2020. For some reason....

...true, populations change over time, like FL or NH, but these can be explained by dissection of data on immigration/emigration...age.

If Trump is ahead in MI by those margins there's no way Biden wins more votes in WI or PA. Something...else has to happen

A Trump win would be an improbable but therefore all the more satisfying FU to the PTB. Trump is bound to be a little better than Joe. But will he stop the southern invasion? How?

His first term left few lasting accomplishments. Much of his help was incompetent or actively hostile. He blew Covid and the budget. Assuming he stays out of prison, has he learned anything?

There is no visible support for Biden here in Georgia. You’re talking to someone who drives around the state almost every day.

Maybe there is and every Biden supporter is just keeping it on the down low.

If Biden wins with current polling intact, it will obviously have to be via election fraud, and people will start to consider and believe that 2020 was also election fraud. The mechanics of the fraud will be uncovered. The Dems are now sweating because they can’t effectively pull off another “win” like that under these current conditions.

Biden doesn’t want to bow out because he has to maintain power to stop the wolves at the door who are threatening his family fortune and legacy — especially that wolf named Trump.

The newly elected mayor of Houston is still a Democrat, though.

Are Republicans smart enough to start hiring poll observers that fit a certain demographic? Like, minimum requirements 6 ft in height, 200 lb weight, previous gang or combat experience strongly preferred - that kind of thing? We'll see - but that's what it's going to take.

Biden could be a talking head in a jar and he would still refuse to step down.

Hopefully our long national nightmare is about to be over. Lower inflation, secure borders, non-senile president, actual reporting from the corrupt media versus covering for democrats failures.

Joyous indeed.

I expect that Biden will pardon Hunter and then step down. I HOPE he pardons hunter and then stays in the race. He is a walking potato.

The solution that Democrats will pursue is to keep Trump off the ballot. That's what's happening -- kind of -- in the Democratic Primary in Florida, after all (link)

Of course he can win if he loses those states. Suspend counting in Fulton County and Milwaukee, send home the poll watchers, hang paper over the windows and truck in fake ballots until Old Joe is over the top.

Biden can't win the electoral college if he can't win Michigan- if Biden loses Michigan, he loses all the state Hillary lost in 2016. If Biden loses the country-wide popular vote, it will mean Trump wins 400+ electoral votes.

Understand- I think these polls are horseshit- polls like this are attempts to force Biden out of the race by his own party, so you do best not to believe them. Biden vs a generic GOP candidate is the odds-on favorite even without mail-in vote fraud. Only Trump truly makes states like WI, MI, and PA competitive- without him, those states return to being solid blue.

It is a lie -- a uniquely Trump-originated lie -- that "Detroit" was somehow a central feature of Trump's 2020 electoral loss in Michigan.

Trump actually won more Detroit votes in 2020 than he did in 2016. Trump won MI by less than 11,000 votes in '16. Trump lost MI in '20 by 150,000. The Trump '20 loss was most particularly characterized by major swings to Biden among educated suburbanites in Oakland and Kent Counties (formerly reliable Republican strongolds). Not losses in Detroit. Blaming "Detroit" has it exactly backwards.

And in 2022, in practically every important MI statewide and every contested MI Congressional election, election [2020] deniers were beaten badly. More badly than polling had predicted.

The 2020 Michigan election was not fraudulent. Leading MI Republicans in the state senate studied it and conclusively determined that the election was not fraudulent.

There isn't a single serious Republican in Michigan who thinks that the 2020 election was stolen. And in fact, as the Trumpists have taken over the Michigan Republican Party, the Party has been plunged into chaos, leadership challenges and an impending bankruptcy. There is no more functioning, operable Party to actually accomplish anything electorally. The Party cannot pay the expenses for the building that was entrusted to it by a pair of major donors more than a decade ago.

The TrumpWing attacks on "Detroit" are, of course, racist. I say that, as a former MI-GOP election day volunteer in Detroit.

So too are the TrumpWing attacks on "Atlanta," where false attacks on black Atlanta election workers has rightly earned Rudy Giuliani a defamation lawsuit that will bankrupt him. He's already lost the liability part of the case. Along with his law license. All that is left for a jury is to decide how many millions will be added to Giuliani's unbearable debt. And that phase starts today!

Go ahead, TrumpWingers. Fuck around. Find out.

Let's pause for a moment and look at this.

Biden will of course not pardon his son unless the DoJ's Office of the Pardon Attorney makes that recommendation. (The way that pardons are supposed to work.) And they will assuredly not do that within the next year.

Compare Trump. Who paid less than zero attention to the DoJ. Trump pardoned Jared Kushner's father. Trump pardoned Roger Stone and Steve Bannon. The Bannon pardon was before Bannon had even been scheduled for trial. Bannon has since been convicted of another crime for which Trump couldn't pardon him.

Trump is talking about a completely chaotic use of pardon powers. Mass-pardoning J6 insurrectionists. Trump is a political gangster when it comes to pardons. Selling pardons. Handing out pardons to potential witnesses against him.

And none of it affects Trump's standing with his base. To the eternal shame of Trump and those base voters.

I cannot believe it, whenever I hear Trump fans talk about President Biden pardoning his son. When Trump's own record on pardons is such a criminal nightmare. You guys really want to talk about pardons?

Polls don't mean a thing when you aren't in control of harvesting mail-in ballots, judging them valid or invalid, and counting them.

I wouldn't trust Chuck to do a title search for me, if he really is a lawyer, because original sources seem to be anathema to him. But I do give him the "credit" of believing the lies he spews, but this is actually insulting his intelligence, to be fair. Rich, on the other hand, I am pretty sure he knows he is lying, and he spits out the propaganda tropes with the expectation that they will work as designed, and honest discussion never comes into his calculations.

I meant to say that I would trust Rich to do a title search, were he a lawyer, as long as it was clear who was paying him.

Some inside baseball for Aggie and others who may be interested-
Yes, the newly elected mayor of Houston is a Democrat, but he's a old, bald, white guy who trounced a black female (albeit nucking futs) Democrat.
Houston is known as the most diverse large city in the USA, 76% BIPOC, 24% white.

Texas has instituted a very rigorous voting integrity system, that I used in Nov.
The voter first shows ID (driver license or other state ID works, and is checked against a database in real time), and receives a paper document that is signed individually by the poll official. Voter then goes to a machine and inserts the paper. Voter's choices are recorded on the paper, voter then removes the paper from the machine and takes it to a scanner a few feet away. The paper is then scanned to record the vote, and the paper is retained in a locked box, to be used only in the event of a recount.

It was a bit cumbersome, but very reassuring.
If Texas does indeed turn blue, in won't be due to chicanery, and all will be lost. I'm not worried.
Texit is a last resort, but not excluded, if we get another 4 years of Biden or equivalent.

A wall to mitigate progress. Engaging foreign stakeholders to pursue emigration reform. Confronting labor and environmental arbitrage advocates. Also, recognizing women, and men's, dignity and agency, to end planned parenthood, the wicked solution, and similar schemes. Six weeks to legal viability, and thereafter a reconciliation of equal, not "=", rights of the mother and child to fill in the missing pieces of our Posterity and humanity. #NoJudgment #NoLabels

I am asking a couple of hypothetical questions in all sincerity.

1) At what percentage in the polls does Trump's lead become essentially insurmountable, except by the grossest kinds of electoral fraud?

2) Assume that this happens, and is plainly apparent to any honest observer. Then suppose, if you can, that the entirety of the executive and judicial branches of the Federal government, the military brass, almost all organs of the media-entertainment complex, the titans of Silicon Valley and Wall Street, all of academia, the Bar, the mainline churches, the labor unions, and every other center of government-worshiping, government-dependent power in this country tell us that any resistance to this coup is illegitimate and will be ruthlessly crushed by force. At what point would it be proper to take up arms and defend our liberty, and at whom would it be best to point the guns?

Hey Chuck,

Are you still a Republican poll watcher?

You know, in those Democrat districts that regularly give Democrat candidates 120% of the vote.

No. I withdrew from that before the 2016 Michigan presidential primary (when I voted for John Kasich and told everyone I knew that I foresaw disaster for the GOP).

If you can show me a "Democrat district" anywhere in Michigan "that regularly give Democrat candidates 120% of the vote..." then I will refrain from calling you the stupidest low grade racist moron on this page. So that is up to you.

You're the guy in the bar who makes a crack like that thinking that you are among friends and, like, everybody knows that they cheat in big city elections like Detroit, right? And I'm the guy who sits down at your table and says, "I've actually worked more than 70 individual Detroit precincts, as a MIGOP/RNLA legal representative, and you're full of shit. You're just spouting the shit you hear on talkradio and Fox News. They do it better than you do, in fact. Would you care to be more specific with your claims? Because I'll have a lot more questions for you. Go. Give it your best shot, sport."

Why would they do a coup? At best, Trump will come in with weak margins in the Senate and House, and after two years of chaos the Democrats will probably control the House at least and so will start up with impeachment #3, which won't be hard, as they will have felony convictions on some of the 91 counts to work with, and the FBI/CIA/etc. will be cooking up new ones. I would expect the Democrats to sweep the elections in 2028, maybe even with supermajorities. I think they will just let it unfold in that manner.
