Today's Loury/McWhorter clip is good, nothing that whites didn't know years ago but now there are two influential blacks laying it out. What the consequences will be for them is a matter of interest. Probably some severe form of cancellation.

The whole podcast will be out on Friday if it's allowed.

I heard that the UNLV shooter was a former professor from Georgia/North Carolina area trying to find a job in Nevada that he didn't get. Didn't I hear something about professors leaving red state universities for jobs elsewhere? What was there reasoning again?

Vegas shooter who killed 3 was a professor who recently applied for a job at UNLV, AP source says

Terrified students and professors cowered in classrooms and dorms as a gunman roamed the floors of a University of Nevada, Las Vegas building, killing three people and critically wounding a fourth before dying in a shootout with police.

The gunman in Wednesday’s shooting was a professor who had unsuccessfully sought a job at the school, a law enforcement official with direct knowledge of the investigation told The Associated Press. He previously worked at East Carolina University in North Carolina, said the official, who spoke on the condition of anonymity because they weren’t authorized to release the information publicly.

Another law enforcement official identified the suspect as Anthony Polito, 67. Investigators searched an apartment in Henderson, Nevada, late Wednesday as part of the investigation and retrieved several electronic devices, including Polito’s cellphone, the official said. The official was not authorized to discuss details of the investigation and spoke to AP on condition of anonymity.

...

Lessons learned from that shooting — the deadliest in modern U.S. history — helped authorities to work “seamlessly” in reacting to the UNLV attack, Sheriff Kevin McMahill said at a news conference.

At about 11:45 a.m., the gunman opened fire on the fourth floor of the building that houses UNLV’s Lee Business School, then went to several other floors before he was killed in a shootout with two university police detectives outside the building, UNLV Police Chief Adam Garcia said.

Authorities gave the all-clear about 40 minutes after the first report of an active shooter.
"

This is similar to an event at the Cal State University, Fullerton campus library where I worked in 1976. The shooter was a maintenance worker who was convinced that someone was stealing his wife from him, but the people he shot were not the sort that you'd suspect of such a thing. I was off duty that day, but a co-worker of mine, Stephen Becker, was one of the first names read in the radio news report.

I saw in an article that appears to have been memory-holed, that a campus security officer saw him coming from the parking lot but didn't get permission to draw his sidearm in time to stop the shooter.

Assholes like John Kerry want to restrict agriculture and control the food that feeds all humans and all life on earth. What will happen to Chris Christie??

Witches like Hillary Clinton want us to start a Climate Change body count; while still willing to accept wasteful war body counts.

He would enforce the border laws required by the office, which Biden won’t do, and he would again foster energy independence instead of destroying it, as Biden is.

Biden was hidden in the basement while the 2020 election was happening. He clearly didn’t prepare these executive orders, which undoubtedly took a long time to plan, and my guess is he didn’t even read them before signing (and would have a hard time explaining them if asked). It would be nice if we were told who is pulling Biden’s marionette strings so we know who is actively destroying America.

But somehow, Trump, saying he would sign two, which are completely pro-American, interests an American president should support, is a threat to our country?"

I saw "Buck & The Preacher" (1972) when I was eleven years old, and, being one of the first protest movies made by a black director (Sidney Poitier, who also stars in it) of course it's a riff on white's breaking "the promise of land and freedom" - otherwise known as reparations. That promise too many, here, poisonously go on about as a "grift." Well, that grift was a very-real issue in 1865, on through to 1972, and is still with us, today, fresh as a daisy. And it's been a stain on the facade white people have erected, about themselves and the nation, that whole time. Shit, you think I'm let down, after a lifetime of this?

The deleted quote was mine, regarding the CSUF shooting, which was both rare and shocking at the time. In the aftermath, a relative of one of the victims had such survivor's regret that he jumped from a upper balcony of the Humanities Building. Protective screens were installed soon after that.

I agree that the security personnel should act immediately rather than waiting for permission. At UNLV, it appears they did so, as soon as they were able, and prevented more killing.

No, not the way this has been taught and conducted, and that's the point: Zionists haven't made the case, and they want to either jail or kill anyone who recognizes that - creating what they're currently calling antisemitism - when it's really just disgust over such illogical, irresponsible, and murderous actions. They're literally killing children.
