"Now when the child of morning, rosy-fingered Dawn, appeared, Telemakhos rose and dressed himself. He bound his sandals on to his comely feet, girded his sword about his shoulder, and left his room looking like an immortal god." - The Odyssey
Florence King said that her idea of a good movie was one in which, at least once in every reel, John Wayne said either "We're headin' out" or "We're goin' in".
In that middle picture, you do look like you might be about to throw a grenade. Sands of Lake Mendota.
Picnic Point needs an Ann Althouse statue. Or maybe just a bust of that crazy head of hair. I’m friends with a nationally known sculptor who can do it. Meade, send me an email. The money would be totally worth it.

The leftists would vandalize it. Probably cut off her head and throw it in the lake. Best not to give them the opportunity.
Clyde's Top 15 Favorite "New" Songs of 2023 - #15 - "Unoriginal Sin" - Margo Price (Feat. Mike Campbell) - Strays II (2023)
Margo Price has been busy this year, releasing the album Strays in January, and then releasing Strays II in October, which had the ten tracks on the original album as well as nine new tracks. Mike Campbell, longtime member of Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, also performed on "Light Me Up" on the first version of the album. It's a really good album, and this will be the first (but not last) time that I recommend that you listen to the entire album.
This year, I'm doing my recap of my Top 15 new (and new-to-me) songs that I discovered in 2023. I'm also doing five honorable mentions that didn't make the cut. The only rules were that I had to have discovered the song this year, that only one song per artist is allowed in the Top 15, and that my cutoff was finding the song before December 10th. I hope that you might find something that you enjoy as well.
Clyde's Top 15 Favorite "New" Songs of 2023 - Honorable Mentions (Part 1 of 5) - "She Can't Be Found" - William Beckmann (Here's to You, Here's to Me, 2023)
I found William Beckmann by listening to a playlist of Texas country artists on Amazon Music. The bass line of this song reminded me of classic Waylon Jennings tunes, which is not a bad thing.

Beware the Mendota Croc!
Need to have a plaque there...
The Standard: "Baby sucked out of his home by Tennessee tornado miraculously found alive in a tree"
The baby's name in Lord. You could say 2023 was the year of Baby Lord.
Gee, avoiding the hair salon lately?

If you were transgender I would think you were getting ready to pee in that 3rd pic.

Someday there will be.
Darn. I was hoping for a Polar Bear Plunge.
A sane man never says anything about a woman's hair unless it's, for sure, going to make the woman feel good about it (the hair).
FleetUSA is clearly posting from an asylum. That said: commenting strictly on "photography" there is a distraction in this small set.
Seems like every time I plunge into the woods I get covered in stick-tights.

I’m glad there was someone with you to capture the thrill.
In that last picture. If you were a guy. I'd say you're getting ready to take a leak.
Goin' in?? When is the Polar Bear Swim??
oh, yeah..........when does the lake freeze over??
Glad you took the plunge. Ignore the hair comment above. Your hair is as the wood nymph of old.
You stopped your plunge at the shoreline, when there was a quantum leap of plunging still available in the chill depths.
No one could hold her back, she was going in!
A great picture.
Action Althouse!

Ancestry.com says there’s some Sasquatch DNA in those feet…
Cover me!! I'm goin' in!!
It must be warmer up there today; you seem to be dressed quite a bit lighter than past pictures.

William Beckmann - She Can't Be Found
The legend of the lakeside banshee will be carried forward with Althousiism in rustic blogs on the virtual prairie.
A pinkish hue, a rosy glow
Wonderful
Forgot her camera when you went in?

I've heard worse. I think.
"Margo Price has been busy this year .."
Maybe she should take a break. Does she pay you to spam links to her crappy music videos? Or are you just in it for the blow-jobs?
