"Commander Biden bites another Secret Service agent, the 11th known incident."

It's a dog story, at CNN.

“This isn’t a Secret Service thing. This is a this is a workplace safety issue,” CNN contributor and former USSS agent Jonathan Wackrow told CNN. “There’s uniqueness here where it’s the residence of the president of the United States, but it’s also the workplace for hundreds, thousands of people. And you can’t bring a hazard into the workplace....”...

ADDED: That headline seemed funny for a half second, what with "Commander Biden." Joe Biden is the Commander in Chief, and who gives dogs the human family's last name?

There is a serious issue if it’s happened 11 times. For us normal paroles if it happened more than once the dog would be removed.

Who names their dog "Commander"?

Humperdink বলেছেন...

Ignoring reality is a typical lefty characteristic.

What baffles me is what does Slo' Joe owning a German Shepard add to administration's public persona? We, the serfs, never see the hound anyway.

Some enterprising Republican representative needs to propose a safety bill for owning a dog, requiring a background check and waiting period.

Just last week I was working with a farmer. I commented on his dog. A healer cross. As we were going over paperwork, the dog brought over a toy football. He wanted to play. The farmer said he was a good stock dog. Also shared he was force to put down his previous dog, because he had seen aggressive behavior. Never bit anyone. Just could not be trusted. The farmer was not willing to take the risk.

That's how life is lived in the real world.

rhhardin বলেছেন...

There may be a natural bitee among the secret service agents, is the most likely thing now.

Telegraphing untrustworthiness to the dog.

rhhardin বলেছেন...

Vets add the last name all the time. You're not going to have a family member with the dog's name so it's an unambiguous reference.

If you think Commander is abusing the Secret Service, you should consider what his owner is doing to US citizens.

for the rest of us, the second bite would cost us our home owners insurance if we did not put the dog down.

I imagine the dog wears a collar that plays "Hail to the Chief" just before he bites.

If my dog bit one person I'd be visited by the local police. Long before we (my dog and I because I am responsible for my dog's behavior) got to eleven bites it would have been taken away and "put down" and/or I would have been hauled into court.

It would be fun to see one of the bite victims sue the dog's owner (our commander in chief) and see him standing before a judge.

Did someone overhear Biden say "the agent deserved it" after he learned of the incident? Does ABC News know? Or does such gossip not attract viewers unless they can name drop Trump rather than Biden?

JRoberts বলেছেন...

I'm sure Joe and "Commander" have regular, deep policy discussions on national security - and probably share pointers on sniffing.

Everybody

Jamie বলেছেন...

My dog, who is female, has my last name, harking back to the last-name post of last week or so in which I revealed, to the surprise of many, that my husband established a policy of boys-his last name, girls-mine. He's stuck with it for our dogs as well: both female, both my last name. (It's probably preferable for him anyway since he's not a dog guy.)

Everybody's pet has the owner's last name at the vet, including fish (I witnessed this myself). But it is a little weird to say "Commander Biden" in a news article rather than "Commander, the Biden dog" or "the Bidens' dog."

Lem Vibe Bandit বলেছেন...

The Trump indictment count needs to go into overdrive, if it’s to catch up to the Commander Biden bite count.

I'm surprised Republicans haven't pounced. In a movie no one wants to see the dog get hurt. Biden is not only terrorizing his employees, he's abusing his dog. He's extremely vulnerable on this.

And "Commander Biden" for POTUS' pooch is ripe for ridicule. If you intend to talk to your dog, you give it a fun mouth-name. "Commander" is not a dog you call over for walkies and a belly rub.

A clueless, swollen-headed dolt who will force upon you his word "as a Biden," that's who.

mikee বলেছেন...

Cmon, Joe! Let the dog go live on a farm upstate.

The Clintons at least had the decency to let their dog escape the house, run in traffic, and kill itself, just like so many others of their friends and associates who wanted out.

rcocean বলেছেন...

Doesn't the dogs name show Biden has no real relationship with the Dog? "Commander"? It such an odd name for a dog. Completely cold and unfriendly.

Biden has an undeserved reputation for being a "nice guy". He's not. He's arrogant and egotistical. That he would have a big dog that bites people, doesn't surprise me. Biden probably thinks its funny.

And i know its boring. But.... imagine if bush or Trump had a white house dog that bit the secret service. And they did nothing about it. Imagine the press reaction.

Narayanan বলেছেন...

They should think this through a bit better. Secret Service is expected to take bullets for their primaries. Abusing them might make them hesitate for crucial seconds. Both GW Bush and Trump knew (and know) everyone on their Secret Service details. Dem Presidents don’t, and often tend to treat them as disposable hired help. Reportedly, no one wanted to work on Crooked Hillary’s and Joe Biden’s details. She was verbally, and possibly physically, abusive towards hers, and VP Biden would swim nude in front of female officers.

SO didn't they start with Major and Champ (German Shepard type breeds or at least that is what they looked like) - I think both of them got sent back to Delaware because of aggressive biting incident (s). And then they got Commander (another German Shepard?) who has had 12 incidents - Oh my gosh - that dog is obviously NOT the right dog for the White House. Give the dog a break and send him home or have him put down. As many have said - there isn't any citizen that could get away with keeping a dog that has had this many attacks. Seriously - How can they keep that dog?

Commander Biden is lucky that it is the Secret Service that is tasked with guarding the President. If it had been the ATF, he might not be so lucky given that agency's history of shooting dogs.

I wonder what woman had to ruin her red shoes by walking the dog in the damp grass. I bet it wasn't Jill.

In one incident in October, first lady Dr. Jill Biden “couldn’t regain control” of the dog as it charged a member of Secret Service staff.

German Shepherds are smart dogs. That dog could have been trained to obey her command to heel and would have done so, even off leash. The Bidens didn't bother training the dogs, or do not understand that it's the owners who need to be trained as much as the dogs. They should not be pet owners. Some people do not have the temperament, some do not have the time. Whatever the reason, they should stop treating these dogs like accessories and give up on pet ownership until they are ready to commit to it. (Since Joe Biden thinks it's okay to chase a dog to pull its tail, I would prefer that he not be allowed anything beyond a stuffed animal.)
