If the PRC invades Taiwan, will the US oppose them militarily? Hard to say. It could be a very costly undertaking, and also runs the risk of escalating conflict with an ICBM nuclear power. Dicey.

But one thing for sure, if and when the Chikes come over the beaches, every last chip fab in Taiwan will be utterly devastated, probably by cruise missiles. Blasted to bits. There is no way the Chikes are going to get the TSMC fabs intact. They'll be lucky to capture any functional equipment at all.

Which is, somewhat curiously, arguably the most important aspect of the American security guarantee to the Taiwanese. The Chikes may kill you, but it will profit them nothing. So, all YOU need to do, is to see to it that they know it will cost them mightily.

Another strong speech by Vivek Ramawamy on the censorship of the public and the persecution of Donald Trump. To be found on Twitter.

Why can't this man be President? It would make such a difference.

If the DOJ keeps deflecting by indicting Trump every time there's news about Hunter and Joe's corruption every courtroom in America will be occupied with trying Trump. They could start charging him with felonies for each individual letter in classified documents and each individual syllable in his Jan 6 rally speech. And the US Great Seal could be updated to reflect current society. There would be a ham sandwich above crossed bananas. On the Left, a pair of skates; on the Right, a Thumbs Down emoji.

"That’s the same Tanya Chutkan who represented Theranos at Boies Schiller (the firm that hired Fusion GPS to attack Theranos whistleblowers) and then presided as judge in the U.S. House lawsuit against Fusion GPS. Completely corrupt."

Hmmmm... "Completely corrupt". Mightn't there be, a point at which corruption becomes so thoroughgoing that it begins to operate contrary to intention? A point at which it becomes clear that this judge is a standard of corruption? Every act of this judge is, simply as a matter of common knowledge, a means whereby the corruption of other, less-corrupt judges might be measured, or at least calibrated. A particular judge, recognized as corrupt, could be rated in milli-Chutkans.

Everyday new stuff seems to appear about the dreaded covid vaccine. And it's never about how healthy it is for us.

Today's new stuff from the Epoch Times: https://www.theepochtimes.com/health/covid-19-vaccines-and-boosters-were-never-made-with-mrna-5416427

Modified RNA (modRNA) vs. Messenger RNA (mRNA). Turns out Pfizer - and everyone else- was lying. mRNA quickly breaks down, which is what the powers that be were telling us. It wouldn't last in the body, would do it's job and be destroyed. modRNA- doesn't. Makes all the difference in the world on how it affects the body.

A blog comment to explain the article would require quoting the whole thing. Read it.

Interesting unanimous decision of Cal Sup Ct 7/31, reversing split decision from court of appeal, reversing decion of superior court, affirming administrative decision of USC, expelling student for intimate partner violence back in 2017. Boermeester. Court holds that private university has discretion in setting procedures, and does not have to offer live cross examination of witnesses. Trump Department of Education had made a big deal about the court of appeal holding. Case remanded for court of appeal to address appellate arguments not decided previously.

As of yesterday US Treasury Bonds have been downrated from AAA to AA. So much for the “success” of Bidenomics.

I am nothing if not horribly cynical about the level of absolutely pure dishonest propaganda that the American public has been and will continue to be sold about politics in genereral and the Biden presidency in particular, and am thoroughly dismayed that it seems to be successful.

However, I believe that the vast majority of the low-information types are just beginning to hear and learn about Hunter Biden's exploits as bagman for the Biden family business. Those of us who pay attention know all about it, and have known for a long time. None of this is new.

But the consumers of the MSM are still back in 2020--"Nothing to see here; Hunter is just a troubled soul whose father loves him" worked, and it is what the propagandists at The View and WaPo are trying to sell again. The LIV's don't really know any of this.

But the combination of the laptop, Devon Archer's testimony, Joe Biden's repeated lies about having anything to do with his son's "business," the shell corporations and suspicious activity reports, and that video of Joe bragging about getting the prosecutor fired just might do the trick. Particularly the video.

This sure as hell looks like pure, unadulterated bribery and influence-peddling. The "optics" are rather stark.

I don't know. Lord knows the propagandists have obviously succeeded repeatedly where the lie seems so clear and obvious as to be undeniable.

I have to have some sliver of hope.

It turns out that Fitch doesn't understand modern economics when it lowered the US bond rating yesterday. You see, the US can print all the money it wants to, and therefore the bonds will always be paid off with nominal dollars. It's not their business, of course, if those dollars are worth pennies of today's money. In other words, the bond holders might be robbed of their wealth by US Treasuries, but the treasuries themselves are technically perfectly secure, backed by the "full faith and credit" of the people spending trillions on one harebrained scheme after another.
