Here's an interesting thing I noticed today. Look at the popular vote totals in our last several presidential elections. Does anybody think that Biden got over 15 million votes than Hillary did in an election in which Trump got 11 million more votes than he previously did? After the "campaign" That Biden ran? Biden got 12 million more votes than Obama when Obama was running to be the first Black president? That 27 million more votes showed up in the middle of the pandemic? I stayed up that Tuesday night and into Wednesday morning and watched what happened. The Democrats figured out exactly how many votes Trump was getting in four key states and then stopped the counting in four states at the same time. That had never happened before. They sent the poll watchers home. Then they manufactured the needed votes, and all of a sudden started counting votes again, in all four states at the same time. From that point on, everything went Biden's way. The problem for them, Trump was receiving so many votes they had to go over the top and pretend that Biden got the absurd number of votes they claimed he did, and that both candidates got more votes than any other candidate in history in the same election. I can't wait to see the numbers in 2024.

2020
Biden: 81.2 million votes
Trump: 74.2 million votes
total: 155.4 million votes

2016
Trump: 63 million votes
Hillary: 65.8 million votes
total: 128.8 million votes

2012
Obama: 66 million votes
Romney: 61 million votes
total: 127 million votes

2008
Obama 69.5 million votes
McCain: 60 million votes
total: 129.5 million votes

2004
Bush: 62 million votes
Kerry: 59 million votes
total: 121 million votes

2000
Bush: 50.4 million votes
Gore: 51 million votes
total: 101.4 million votes

1996
Clinton 47.4 million votes
Dole: 39.1 million votes
Perot: 8 million votes
total: 95.5 million votes

beautiful photos, although the fall and winter ones are my favorites.
Curious if anyone here is trying to buy a new vehicle? It is absolute insanity in the car market now. At least in hawaii and the west coast.
Trucks that list for 27 or 30, are coming out 4-10k more with what dealers call a market adjustment. Interest rates are crazy too. 5 percent is considered a good rate now.
Seems like the big three, or two, are more interested in selling less trucks, for more money. Leaving out the original audience for trucks, working people.
Between Biden and the Fed, they could care less about people making average incomes. The used car market responds accordingly, with prices up across the board.
ordering a 2024 truck means waiting a minimum of 4 to 6 months. Some people waited much longer for 2023 trucks or vans.
Prices from last fall, 22, are now up an average of 5k for the remaining 2023 vehicles.
New car prices are set to rise by an average 5k on almost all popular cars and trucks.
Was told average car payment is now north of 700 month.
I miss Trump, and low inflation, no wars, and affordable cars trucks and houses.

Russia has sentenced Putin’s political opponent to 19 years in the slammer. Trump faces a much stiffer sentence. Besides being Joe’s political opponent, Trump held onto some papers and he expressed his disagreement about the election results.

I guess the Soviets were correct all along. We’re the big human rights violator, but just when the Dems are running the show.

This lawfare against Trump is the most anti-democratic thing of all time.

From Small Dead Animals to my X timeline: Why I'm no longer Anonymous

"The quote "Evil succeeds when good men do nothing" is often attributed to Edmund Burke, but there are many variations and sources of this idea. The quote implies that evil thrives or triumphs when good men are silent, inactive, or indifferent. Some authors contrast good men with mediocre, unjust, or miserly people who also do nothing." - Result from looking up the quote.

Can Trump be prosecuted for believing some people over other people?

If that is true, what the hell is a president for?

This newly exbibited social media cat-got-your-tongue commenting behavior by Dumb Lefty Mark might have something to do with Threads experiencing an 82% dropoff in engagement by its woke moron lefty user base.

Not to worry though lefties.

Zuckerburg still has the entire Raffensberger/Sperling election crew in GA and the McCain/Ducey/Gates election crew in AZ fully bought off with Zuckerbucks in time to help "fortify" elections for the dems in those states.

Violent riots are okay if you are a progressive. The Police stood down, the Mayor is silent, and New York City is circling the toilet bowl. These animals belong to the left, and the left owns what is going on in the country today. They fundamentally changed America, so these animals can do whatever they want, and get a slap on the wrist, whilst they go after the political opponents that threaten their violence, and hate.

Drilling down on 101-degree water temperature recording near the Florida Keys. What we know

"While the news from earlier this week that a buoy near the Florida Keys recorded a water temperature of 101.1 degrees is alarming, it's not unprecedented.

It's not even the record for Manatee Bay, the observing site where the data came from, said David Zierden, state climatologist at the Florida Climate Center in Tallahassee.

The record for the Manatee Bay site is 102 degrees. It was set on Aug. 15, 2017. Going further back, Zierden said the site recorded a temperature of 100 degrees in 2010. Zierden referenced a analysis and a graphic created by Michael Lowry, a hurricane specialist and storm surge expert with WPLG-TV. Lowry used the data he received from Everglades National Park South Florida Natural Resources Center (SFNRC), who maintain this particular network of stations. Something to point out: The Manatee Bay gauge is very close to land, south of Biscayne Bay, and measures the water temperature at a depth of 5 feet.

"Keep in mind that the observations in Manatee Bay are in shallow water in a closed-off cove with dark seagrass on the bottom," Zierden said. "I would not consider them a "sea surface temperature," as that implies open ocean."

Even though there is a bit of a "tap the brakes" vibe when it comes to this week's excessive water temperature news that is making headlines, it comes with "the backdrop that coastal and open ocean temperatures are still running much above normal for the Atlantic, Gulf of Mexico and around the Florida Keys," Zierden said.
"

What is going on with comment moderation?

You have again changed the subscript about the rules for commenting -- eliminated them, in fact -- in favor of the bland "Comment moderation has been enabled."

Yesterday you allowed not a single one of about four comments that I submitted in relation to the day's several blog posts. For no reason that I can imagine apart from personal animus. My comments were aimed squarely and solely at blog-post content; I was not the least bit repetitive; and I made no personal attacks. Although one of my comments rightly corrected another commenter's contention that the Michigan Secretary of State, Jocelyn Benson, was a "he."

"But it’s not that Trump is so popular or the new Man of Steel – it’s that we saw what the government was doing to us even before Trump, and we were appalled and disgusted. We saw the two-tiered system of justice; we saw them weaponize the government against the average person; we saw them grow rich and powerful on never-ending wars; we saw the IRS blatantly target conservatives; we saw our bank accounts dwindle; our police forces destroyed; our southern border erased; our faith maligned; our children targeted; our sovereignty and citizenship thrown in a dumpster. We saw the quality of our lives get pushed off a cliff as the political class grew fat and happy.

Then, and only then, did we elect Donald Trump. It’s never actually been about him, per se. It’s been about us, our loved ones, our families, and our futures. And it still is."

Gahrie,

You are absolutely right to point out how unprecedented 2020 Presidential election was, both in terms of the total vote tally and breakdown of votes between candidates.

What troubles me even more is the absolute silence from great number of historians investigating all aspects of Presidential elections and normally commenting on every minute detail. These historians derive their livelihood by uncovering and belaboring anything that can be perceived as unusual and out of the ordinary in Presidential elections. And yet during 2.5 years since 2020 elections I haven't seen a single article mentioning even slightly the plain fact that 2020 elections was Absolutely Unprecedented. Again, these historians derive their very LIVELIHOOD by pointing out any deviations from the regular in Presidential elections history. Why do all of them refrain to investigate the Most Unprecedented election results in History? Why all of them are acting against their professional and personal interests? Or they all know that their personal interests are better served by ignoring the issue?
