"Now that they took care of the garden, what are they going to do about that tower at the school’s main entrance?"

That's the top-rated comment at "Exclusive girls’ school called out after drone footage reveals phallic garden" (NY Post).

Insert Beavis and Butthead Heh heh here. Looks more like an interpretation of what a penis looks like from people yet to experience one…

Obviously, the tower must be taken down, brick by brick, and re-assembled as a well, going just that deep into the ground, in an inverted shape. Anything else would be transphobic.

That's not a phallus as the proportions and angles are all wrong. Square corners?????

That's a keyhole. A keyhole is a female body part metaphor.

If the garden’s phallic shape was “unintended,” as the headmaster asserts, why do none of the lines on its sides parallel the edges of the walkway?

Le epic trolling is epic. Bravo. Well done.

Phallic, smallic.

What bothers me is the damn thing is asymmetrical.

If that is supposed to be a phallus, I'd be worried about all of those weird growths on the shaft.

What’s the big deal? Everyone knows women have penises too.

Marryat goes on to explore this ludicrous concept by saying that he later visited a seminary where he saw a piano with legs covered by “modest little trousers with frills at the bottom of them.” The captain says that the coverings were there to maintain the “utmost purity of the young ladies.”

The guilt lies with the beholder, if there is guilt to be found. Purity is dangerous territory.

I'm sure the phallic garden will look fine if they just trim a little bush.

Keep it. Message: this place is exciting. There's no limit to the heights you can reach with hard work.

Perhaps it is a silly comparison, but this posting reminds one of the
mutilation of the statues of Hermes by Alcibiades, et al., just before the departure of the Athenian expedition to seize Sicily, a debacle which resulted in the downfall of Athens in the Peloponnesian War. Mutilation of phallic extrusions was, in Thucydides' history, a blasphemy with woeful consequences.

What they didn't tell you in that article was that the gardener responsible has an Ancestry.com report that shows he's 88% Nazca.

We also need to see a wider shot of that campus so we can see what building or landscaping the "tip" is pointing at.

My first thought was that if you flipped that image you could make the argument that it is a vaginal, even uterine, symbol.

Not sure if that is better, or worse for a girls school.

It should be redone, not because of the phallic nonsense, but because it looks like it was designed by a kindergartener during art hour.

You want phallic? I give you the Nebraska State Capitol:

Looks like a key-hole to me. Obviously, the people that raised a fuss have something else on their mind.

This brings back memories of the old days at Althouse, pre-Meade I think, when there were phalli to the left of us, phalli to the right of us, and phalli all around.

Clearly these girls aren't kept busy enough. Maybe a little less fancy education and a little more marriage and kids would do the trick.

How much of peoples "offense" at searched out and found sexual symbols is projection?

And at the top of the capitol tower, "The Sower" spreads his seed.

The headmaster shouldn't have been baited into changing the garden. He should have told the critics to suck it.

The garden outline may be phallic. That a tower is somehow "phallic" simply betrays the foolishness of feminist dogma.

Better stay away from the Ypsilanti Water Tower then.

Amateurly designed garden space. To think it was intended to resemble a penis is ridiculous. Nothing more than trying to create a space for daffodils and lilies to bloom. Would those be the cum shot? Good grief, stop trying to get sex involved in every single thing.

Ryming reduplication. Very cool. I'm not being facetious here. I would have spelled it "shmallic", but really, who could know?

Remember the barracks at the Naval Base that looked like a swastika from above? Yeah, that happened.
