I will read exactly zero articles on the merits of this case … or the demerits as well. It’d be like sneaking into the locker room of the Washington Generals to listen to their game plan as they prepare to take on the Harlem Globetrotters once again, angling for that ever elusive win. Or from another angle it’d be like listening to the guy who won the lottery describe his technique. Iow, a complete waste of brain neurons.
The whole thing is rotten to the core and more destructive to the country than any political act I’ve witnessed in my 70 years. Joe Biden truly is the most corrupt and vile president we have ever had. He makes Warren Harding look like George Washington.
We will survive this no doubt because America is just too rich, deep, and grounded. But what a dark day this is in our history: indicting a former president for crimes no one knows nor understands nor cares about.
The whole case is an example of the decline and fall of this country as a republic.

How did this "Crime" hurt the USA or national security in any meaningful way?

There used to be a respect for the Institution of the Presidency. And a desire by former POTUS' and current Presidents to protect the office - and former Presidents.
Biden has completely destroyed that. Bush has agreed to it with his silence. I assume what's REALLY happened, is the Liberal/left establishment no longer thinks it needs the Presidency to impose it will on the American Peole. Congress has been bought off and is completely under its thumb.
People like Pelosi, Bush, Biden, etc. have no desire to keep the norms and traditions of the past. They hate Trump and want to destroy him. People used to be proud that only 2 POTUS were tried for impeachments in 200 years. Now, its just a routine matter. People used to think President's shouldn't be charged with crimes or put in jail unless it was Super-serious. Now, its just "hey, you misplaced some documents, and we hate you".

Run against Trump while imprisoning Trump for crimes of security and being Trump. It's a big ask, and to date this team hasn't shown me that they have what it takes to pull it off.
