IRS special agent, Gary Shapley, who has accused DOJ officials of slow-walking a long-running probe into President Joe Biden’s son Hunter’s tax affairs is set to give evidence (or opinion) in a closed session before the House Ways and Means Committee on Friday.

But he has now cut off communication with the Senate Finance Committee, which oversees the Internal Revenue Service, amid questions about the veracity of his claims and his motivations for coming forward.

So we have a whistleblower with an undoubtedly political motive who will only talk to the GOP-led House Ways and Means Committee behind closed doors but will not speak to the Democrat-chaired Senate Finance Committee out in the open under oath.

Hugely impressed with Harriet Hageman (R- Stalwart Wyoming) in the Durham hearing. So glad the younger Cheney was relegated to the dumpster.

I see that us surrounding Russia with nuclear weapons is responsible statesmanship, but Russia moving tactical nukes to Belarus is hideously irresponsible. Lindsay Graham is all in on this opportunity for a good old fashioned nuclear war.

I'm on the board of a small local water company. A small check written to another utility disappeared, and a much larger check with the same check number and routing information was created written to an fictitious individual with an account at a local savings and loan. It wasn't even a very good copy of the format of our checks, but the bank was in the process of cashing it, when they spotted something, and called us to verify if it was real. They yanked the money back before the check cleared, but we had to put in place a system where we call the bank and tell them every check we write ahead of time, a service that costs about $100 a month. We're in the process of changing bank accounts to a "special" one with "holographic checks" which are supposed to be at least more resistant to fraud.

We have been told that there is a lot of such fraud around the area, and it has to do with mail being stolen in transit, probably at the large central post office center in Capitol Heights Maryland, where all our mail, even local mail, is processed. It seems to focus on businesses, but that's not to say that individual's checks don't get abused too.

So, to be precise, these aren't really "sunrise" photos but "sun-emerge" photos. The sun had risen but was obscured by clouds so you waited until it emerged (not just once but several times). Since verbal precision is a trademark of yours, I suggest you create a new, accurate tag to reflect this.

Basically what Lindsay Graham's resolution does, if it is enforced by NATO, is to give the Ukrainians a way to drag NATO into the war automatically by committing a false flag attack on a nuclear power plant and then blaming Russia. You know, like the pipeline, like the dam, the loss of which, BTW, is threatening a nuclear disaster right now, but the Ukrainian position is that the Russians know that they are going to lose, and so have destroyed the agricultural water resources for the ethnic Russian regions of Ukraine, and are now planning to create a huge nuclear disaster that will largely affect ethnic Russians because Putin is crazy and stupid, he keeps shooting his own country in the foot.

Read about what the loss of the dam is doing to the nuclear power plant yourself. If the Ukrainians are right that this is a scorched earth tactic by Russia, Russian would already be leaving. In fact, it's a scorched earth strategy by Kiev, and Moscow can benefit from it in no way. Kiev. knows that it is never getting Donbas or Crimea, which has never been traditionally Ukrainian, a country whose borders were created by Soviet dictators and only came into being in the 90s, plus there's the part thrown in by Hitler, sawed off from Poland, and it has been ruled out of Moscow for most of the previous couple centuries. Why are the borders frozen into a short period, the short period that gives Kiev maximum borders, and the US a dagger at the heart of Moscow? Why is who rules over some ethnic Russians thousands of miles from our border a matter worth the risk of nuclear war? Because if Ukraine blows up that nuclear power plant, which is down to a single backup power plant out of four for cooling, and which doesn't know where the cooling water is going to come from after six or eight months have gone by, Russia is going to consider that a nuclear attack by NATO.

Not a dent. Joe was never involved in any of Hunter's dealings. People gave him millions because he was that rarest of unicorns, the genius crackhead.

Hunter Biden said he was sitting right next to Joe Biden as he invoked the president's name in threatening texts to his Chinese business partner in July 2017.

Hours later, Hunter was pictured at his father's home.

It's not that they believe that it's that they expect us to accept it as the truth just as they did. How stupid do you have to be?
