First, I'm sick of feeling that I need to click on the names of celebrities I care about when they are listed as trending.
It's so irritating to waste time clicking only to find out it's that person's birthday again. Ugh! That isn't news. That's a boring thing that happens every year for everyone.
But I click on Dylan because if there is one celebrity I dearly care about, who it brings me to tears just to think one day I may read that he's died, it is Bob Dylan.
"Dylan," standing alone, means Bob Dylan. No one else.
If it's anyone other than Bob Dylan, they need to use the full name. It's downright abusive to those of us who care about Bob to say "Dylan" is trending when it's just this upstart TikTok personality.
And now that I think of it, I think Twitter does this on purpose, to get credit for clicks that would not be clicked if there were more information. It's a con. I'm going to stop clicking on the links in the sidebar. If I see a name I care about, I'm going to google the person's name to see if there's any real news about them.

Gender Dysphoria (GD) is real. GD folks identify as persons of the opposite biological sex. One treatment is gender reassignment surgery. And we are told that anyone who opposes that treatment for GD folks is a hater-bigot
Body Integrity Dysphoria (BID) is also real. BID folks are fully able-bodied folks who identify as either paraplegics or amputees. Treatment options include amputation of fully functioning limbs and surgical paralysis (for a dramatic portrayal, see the film "Quid Quo Pro"). Does it also follow that anyone who opposes the amputation of fully functioning limbs and/or surgical paralysis for BID folks a hater-bigot? Or do they just possess common sense?
Transgenderism is big right now because it incorporates sex and politics, two of the three topics that at one time, weren't considered acceptable in polite conversation (the third being religion). And there's a big national election on the horizon but unfortunately this time around gay marriage (which hit all three topics) has been put to bed, and so politically speaking it's sound asleep. And as such, the powers that be needed a replacement. And surprise, surprise, they've found one. But it's not quite the hot-button issue gay marriage was, which is why they had to included the children.

Hmmm. I think of Bobby Dillon, 4-time All-Pro defensive back for the Green Bay Packers in the 1950s.

I’ve been watching YouTube videos that feature or are created by intersex people. They and science may disagree with you that there are only two biological sexes. Who cares what celebrities say, boring, science is much more interesting.

No. The real BB became a TRA (if they say they're a woman, then they're a woman) and some women responded with "If I say I'm Billy Bragg, then I'm Billy Bragg" just to wind him up.

I was extremely confused for a long time when I saw a reference to LBJ only to realize that it wasn't in reference to the former president.

You are not alone. When I see Dylan, it means Bob Dylan, and no one else. He is iconic. The most amazing thing to me is that Dylan is such a good writer and performer that his cemenet mixer voice is little more than a sidenote. Worst singing voice in a big star I can think of, and it detracts not at all when you watch him perform any of his signature songs.
This is why I don't immerse myself in this stuff. The algorithms will drag you to something trending that is irrelevant or the the subject of the programmers biases and I don't like the assumption of interest.
