It looks as though the latest "Indiana Jones" movie is on track to lose $250 million. I trust I speak for all males geezers everywhere when I say that they should have let the old professor end his career with more dignity.

The U.S. Coast Guard says it has likely recovered human remains from the wreckage of the Titan submersible and is bringing the evidence back to the United States. The submersible imploded last week, killing all five people on board. The vessel was on a voyage see the wreck of the Titanic.

The return of the Titan debris to port in St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador on Wednesday is a key piece of the investigation into why the submersible imploded. Twisted chunks of the 22-foot submersible were unloaded at a Canadian Coast Guard pier.

The U.S. Coast Guard said late Wednesday it had recovered debris and evidence from the sea floor and that included what it described as presumed human remains.

Gospace said...

So Big Mike- are the remains going to the US? When the follow up says the debris was unloaded at St. John's Newfoundland? Or are there multiple sets of debris recovered? That quote is really unclear- and totally not your fault.

"The police shot and killed the assailant within minutes of entering the school, but are continuing to investigate what led to the March 27 shooting, in which three 9-year-olds and three adults were killed. Because the Hales’ child did not leave behind a will, Mr. Raybin said, they, as the most immediate surviving relatives, had become the legal owners of the documents that the police took as evidence. (The couple, Mr. Raybin said, also owned the vehicle and the home where the writings were found.)

Chancellor Myles did not immediately issue a decision on whether the broader debate over the release of the documents would proceed in court. The decision, she observed, was likely to face an appeal.

If the Covenant School parents succeed in their case to keep the writings private, it is unclear what they would do with the documents after the police investigation concludes. In court documents, they have signaled a willingness to release some police reports and summaries, as well as what they described as “a police summary of the shooter’s motivations (or lack thereof).”"

So is Obama - descended from slave owners - going to personally pony up reparations to Mitch McConnell - descended from slaves? Inquiring minds want to know.

And- the only living US POTUS not descended from slaveowners is- Donald John Trump. Untouched by the stench of slavery. Unjustly persecuted- bigly. The most investigated man in US history ever- and the DoJ had to make up crimes out of whole cloth to charge him with anything. Lavrentiy Beria is laughing at their amateurish efforts. Well, if his immediate supervisors in hell allow him any news of the world today.

From Urgent Agenda.com- Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis’s (R) net favorability rating plunged to an all-time low after his first full month on the presidential campaign trail, a Civiqs poll found. In December, the Civiqs poll found that DeSantis’s net favorability rating was -1, with 46 percent having a favorable opinion of him compared to 47 percent unfavorable. As of June 26, DeSantis’s net favorability rating is -22, with just 34 percent of registered voters favoring DeSantis compared to 56 percent who hold an unfavorable opinion. An additional nine percent remained unsure. Among independents, DeSantis’s favorability has drastically fallen. Compared to December when DeSantis held a +11 favorability rating among the critical voting bloc, he now sits at -22, with just 33 percent of independents holding a favorable view of the Florida governor. The survey also found that 12 percent of independents remain unsure. DeSantis’s all-time low net favorability rating comes as he has officially been campaigning for president for just over one month. This is stunning, and potentially alarming. True, DeSantis has only been a declared candidate for a month, but there is something seriously wrong. In my view, he is one of the nation's best governors, and would make a fine president. But fewer and fewer members of the public apparently agree. Is it his fairly meek speaking style? Is it his concentration on social values instead of hard issues like the economy, or high crime? He is widely seen as the heir apparent if Donald Trump should falter. But if his numbers continue to sink, he will need something, or many somethings, to ignite his campaign.

They did some polling of Ukrainians at home and abroad. 35% of Ukrainians abroad think that nazism in Ukraine is a problem, and 45% of those who live in Ukraine believe it. Cue Mutaman to explain that nearly half of Ukrainians are traitors.

Our country is crazy. Yellen is going over to China to beg them to buy US treasuries so that we can seize them when the war we are brewing over Taiwan goes hot. Doesn't the Biden Administration know that China can see what we have done to Russia?

George Washington's Farewell Address should be required reading for every President, and posted at every office of the State Department.

"Adults encourage children to throw “bricks” at pictures of Republicans."

Watched Ukraine on Fire to see the tactics that Kiev used to get the children to hate Russians. "Ukraine is a very different place than it was in 2014" - Barrack Obama. Well, that's because the government we installed there has been ramping up the hatred ever since. These kinds of tactics are how civil wars get started. If any honest histories are written about the United States in a thousand years, and I am sure it will be a subject of great academic fascination, the fall will be traced to when it turned on its own citizenry.

Anybody who wants to be informed should watch this. https://rumble.com/vwxxi8-ukraine-on-fire.html It was banned by YouTube, even though there aren't any falsehoods in it, it was banned because YouTube sees itself as a propaganda outfit for the regime. Googles senior management is openly rife with ex-CIA.

Our CIA supported nazism in Ukraine as a cudgel agains the Soviet Union during the Cold War, and kept it up after in our project to destroy Russia as a great power. We have wrecked Ukraine in furtherance of our own policy goals.

https://twitter.com/flakyfarseer/status/1498753262287261698

Of course you can tell yourself that our sainted CIA would never do such a thing, if you wish. Just like they wouldn't kill JFK, even though there is more and more evidence that they did do that. And once JFK was dead, it was balls to the wall in Viet Nam, wasn't it. Just a coincidence, I am sure. Also a coincidence that it turns out that these same people brought down Richard Nixon, who ended the Viet Nam war and opened relations with communist China, first getting rid of Agnew on stuff that Biden has been guilty of on a vastly larger scale, so that they could put in Jerry Ford, who was on the coverup Warren Commission.

I heard that there was a 1600 page "refutation" of "conspiracy theories" regarding the JFK assassination by the CIA. Well, it would take a huge volume to put out the kinds of elaborate lies required to explain away all of the evidence that is clear for all of us to see.

The background gravitational waves have been discovered by monitoring ultra-stable pulsars. These gravitational waves minutely change the frequency of the pulsars' signals. Decades worth of precision recordings led to this discovery. The pulsars are located in the Milky Way and are 1,000s of light-years away.

Russia is not the only country concerned with Neo-Nazi activities in Ukraine. Poland is also very concerned about Ukrainian Neo-Nazi movements.

Right now, Kiev regime proposed a date change for the 'National Defender and Defenderesse' holiday, specifically due to Polish pressure to eliminate any connections with OUN Banderite legacy, which was explicitly promoted by Ukrainian Neo-Nazis. Poland suffered probably more than anybody from OUN murderous actions. For quick introduction, there is Polish movie 'Volhynia', "...set in the 1939–1943 time frame and its central theme is Ukrainian anti-Polish hatred culminating in massacres of Poles in Volhynia." Anything associated with OUN Banderite glorification and modern day Neo-Nazis activities in Ukraine is absolutely unacceptable to Poland. It is easy to ignore Russian concerns, but can you ignore Poland?
