Debate was stopped briefly around 2:40 p.m. while arrests took place in a chamber balcony where those opposing the controversial bill yelled and threw what appeared to be bloody tampons onto the legislative floor. The balconies were cleared for the remainder of the debate.
Lucia Salinas, 24, and Maghie Miller-Jenkins, 36, were arrested for allegedly obstructing a government operation and disturbing the peace, the Nebraska State Patrol said in a release sent to Fox News Digital.
I went through the post and comments about the SC AWF decision, and it took me back to my days trying to understand copyright as it pertained (or not) to the diverse materials we owned or housed, and the equally diverse uses which people wanted to put them to.
I often felt myself approaching a violation of the Librarian's Rule: Don't Practice Law Without A License. But that was easier--and much much quicker--than dragging the U counsel's office in. I only did that when large sums of money were involved, a sometime occurrence always involving Footage--they handled the legal and accounting, and the clever young people who worked for me took care of the technical transfer details, which bore me almost as much as the law does.

Kind of scary, IMO. I hope you are carrying on your runs. Madison was full of crazy townies and libtards back in 2014 when my daughter moved on, and I'm sure it has only gotten worse.
Herding cats- probably easier then rounding up >150 flag officers to sign a letter and get actively involved ON THE SAME SIDE- in politics. It's happened. Pushback is starting.

Not an unalloyed good. Historically former military leaders uniting to oppose the policies of the current regime has never been a harbinger of good times to come.
But the letter they signed is truth. The letter former intelligence officlas signed was a lie- and they knw it when they signed it. I suspect that was a trigger for this...
How will we pay the upcoming debt ceiling increase? The same way we have always paid - by agreeing to the individual "Golden Fleece" spending projects required to pass the bill through Congress.
It is time to test the provision in the 14th Amendment, Section 4 to assure that the government's bills are timely paid.
Section 4: The validity of the public debt of the United States, authorized by law, . . . shall not be questioned.

At least six people were arrested at the Nebraska state capitol building Friday after protests broke out as lawmakers passed a bill that bans abortions after 12 weeks and restricts gender transition procedures for those under 19.

Don't miss that stuff at all, at all.
Word from a self-described movie extra is that Jamie Fox had a stroke.

Not really. He’d been running so he was hot and took off his shirt to do calisthenics.
“ Madison was full of crazy townies and libtards back in 2014 …”
Sunrise by the lake is not a political event. Occasionally there’s a wedding or religious service but mostly it’s health buffs.
