The Belmont Race will have at least 7 of the runners who have at least competed in the Grade 1 races compared to the subpar allowance race category (WEAK GROUPS) of the Derby and Preakness. I'll jump back in after skipping the 2nd leg. At this moment I am behind ANGEL OF EMPIRE again as I had that one keyed in Derby and he ran 3rd busting my win and exacta wagers, I'll have to get at least 4-1 to bet to win but will key the horse in $20.00 boxed(back and forth with 5 of the other runners of which I 'll pick after last bit of handicapping(post positions ,won't make much difference in field of 10 so far. I would have liked for the other speed in the race, KINGS BARN(out with colic)) to run to keep pace honest but with Baffert horse it should be at least honest with that horse on front end. ANGELS sire (CLASSIC EMPIRE) has distance breeding and the distance should be to his liking, mile and a half, most will never run this distance again. It will be $200.00 to win (if I get 4-1) $200.00 in boxed exacta and $100.00 for some gimmick triples. I liked Brad Coxs other entry HIT SHOW in run up to the triple crown races but not that thrilled with him lately, a decent 5th last race but not exciting. I'll do final adjustments Friday night and see who else out beside KINGS BARN and one of others ARE OUT. I'll watch weather on radar for NY on the 10th and adjust accordingly. BIG SANDY is a unique course and some take to it and some don't and at a distance horse aren't accustomed to its is a daunting task. My thoughts will be for safety of all the beautiful thoroughbreds and the jocks that would ride them. My wife of course will pick names I cant wait to hear her choice! I will be tossing THE Tapit (TAPIT TRICE) BRED HORSE OUT EVEN THOUGH PROBABLY BE SHORT ODDS AND THAT SIRE HAS ALREADY NOTCHED 4 BELMONT WINNERS, THE HORSE JUST CANT GET OUT OF GATE AND IF LUKE WARM PACE NOT A GOOD WAGER FOR ME. Lot of time yet for adjustment. This race is usually conducive for stalkers and upfront runners so don't go to sleep or be put to sleep on the pace. May the horse be with you.

Russians are claiming that they destroyed a second Patriot battery. We are claiming that they never destroyed the first one, but there hasn't been a lot of successful air defense in Kiev since their claims. Ukrainians claimed the first time that they destroyed six hypersonic missiles the first time, but the Russians claimed that there were only two launched, and satellite images have shown up that show two impact craters where the Patriot was set up. So so the Ukrainians were lying, and our military simply repeats Ukraine's lies.

I think that we are going to keep escalating until we start winning, because it's so important that Ukrainians rule over Russian speaking populations who have been ruled out of Moscow for all by 19 years of the previous couple centuries.

What is really at stake is that the US want's control over the Black Sea, to turn it into an American lake, and that means taking the Crimea, which will be a sword at the belly of Russia. This is why Russia is going to fight so hard and believes that it can't afford to lose this war. For us it's a war of choice, and we are the aggressors, and we provoked this war because we thought Russia was weak.

Now we have troops going to Puru, involved in their civil war, which we probably started, just like Ukraine. Could it have been to push out China?

https://dialogo-americas.com/articles/chinas-network-of-ports-grows-in-latin-america/

Sudan tells Russia that they can set up a naval port there, now it's a civil war.

Russia has always had a large naval presence in Syria. Suddenly we need to invade Syria to "protect minortiis," in a region of a country whose soveriegn government does not want us there, and now we are simply building a military base in a country that we have invaded, and whose sovereign leader does not want us there.

I know some of you guys believed all of the individual and varied pretexts for al of these special military operations that the US has conducted, but stepping back and looking that the trend, including Libya and Iraq, it has been about pushing Russia off of the chessboard. The Urkainians have been the ones with genocide on their minds, and the Ukrainians are the ones who worship Hitler and Bandera.

The Wounded Knee massacre, the murder of the men, women, children, and babies, of the last free band of Plains Indians, occurred in 1890, it capped the most successful genocide and land grab since the Mongols, Hitler was born in 1899, so that genocide was still ongoing during his lifetime, and was an object of admiration for Hitler and Ukrainian "hero" and Holocaust collaborator Bandera.

It took me a while to see how evil America really it, but once you see it, it can't be unseen. We should be using hundreds of billions to address our own crimes here on American soil, by our own government, of which slavery is not the largest one, instead of pouring gasoline on a war thousands of miles away to avenge crimes by the Russians that happened under tsars and the Soviets, both long gone.

It's funny too to think that the same people who would overthrow governments and create civil wars all over the world to push our geopolitical strategy that the only security for the US is world domination, would not cheat in American elections also.

A New York Times reviewer criticized Disney's new children's movie, The Little Mermaid, because it lacked — are you ready? — "kink."

What the film, starring singer Halle Bailey, needed, according to Morris, is more "kink."

"Joy, fun, mystery, risk, flavor, KINK" — they're missing," he stated.

Progressives are pedophilia loving perverts. They prove it every single day. THIS is a KIDS movie.

"If you’re reading this and you’re black, I don’t care. Yellow or brown, I still don’t care. If you’re gay, ditto. If your family is from Mexico or China, same.

Basically, if you’re reading this, while I certainly appreciate your doing so, I don’t care about all of those immutable traits over which you have no control…and that includes whether you’re a man or a woman; incidentally, a duality that is not changeable.

Why? Do I hate minorities or people who are different from me? No. I don’t care because none of those things make you special. No more than me being a white, heterosexual male makes me special. DNA doesn’t define us. "

https://www.dailywire.com/news/lawyer-faces-sanctions-after-admitting-using-chatgpt-for-bogus-legal-research
Attorney Steven Schwartz, an attorney with Levidow, Levidow & Oberman, submitted a brief containing several references to non-existent cases his legal team gathered through the artificial intelligence chatbot program.
U.S. Judge Kevin Castel of the Southern District of New York said in an order that the submission contained six cases that ‘appear to be bogus judicial decisions with bogus quotes and bogus internal citations.”
Schwartz accepted responsibility for not confirming the sources, saying that it was the first time using ChatGPT as legal research and “was unaware of the possibility that its content could be false.”

Wait a Minute! we can't trust Lawyers? We can't trust Chatbots? Color Me SHOCKED!!!
I thought Lawyers were (at least) minimally intelligent.. Then i started following Althouse's blog.
Thanx Professor! for opening my eyes

“Zero deceased of 18–49 years of age with no underlying morbidities,” the Israel Ministry of Health (MOH) said in response to a formal request from an attorney.
a study led by Stanford epidemiologist John Ioannidis, show that COVID-19 mortality, even with the original variant, was largely age-dependent.
“It was definitely a disease that actually only endangered the elderly,” Yehezkelli said.

Over the age of 60, mortality doubled every 5 years while under that age mortality was negligible, and “now we really see that it was zero under the age of 50, at least.”
The MOH’s response showed that the average age of the COVID-19 deceased is about 80 years of age, which also indicates that “this is a disease of the elderly, almost exclusively,” said Yehezkelli.
“That only means that what we were told for 3 years was not true,” he said.

Most [People] Infected in COVID Outbreak at CDC Conference Were Vaccinated, Agency Confirms

"A COVID-19 outbreak unfolded at a conference held by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) despite most attendees being vaccinated.

About 1,800 CDC staffers and others gathered in April in a hotel in Atlanta, where the CDC is headquartered, for a conference focused on epidemiological investigations and strategies.

On April 27, the last day of the conference, several people notified organizers that they had tested positive for COVID-19. The CDC and the Georgia Department of Public Health worked together to survey attendees to try to figure out how many people had tested positive.

“The goals were to learn more about transmission that occurred and add to our understanding as we transition to the next phase of COVID-19 surveillance and response,” the CDC said in a May 26 statement.

Approximately 80 percent of attendees filled out the survey. Among those, 181 said they tested positive for COVID-19.

Pretty much all respondents—99.4 percent—had received at least one COVID-19 vaccine dose.

...

Dr. Eric Topol, director of the Scripps Research Translational Institute, said on Twitter that the numbers made the conference a “superspreader event.”

...

Dr. Tom Inglesby, director of the Bloomberg School of Public Health’s Johns Hopkins Center for Health Security, added that the outbreak shows COVID-19 is “still capable of causing big outbreaks and infecting many.”

A Georgia Department of Public Health spokesperson told The Epoch Times in an email that many people who attended the conference were not residents of Georgia, and that many used tests at home.

Bivalent Protection
The CDC said the survey results “underline the importance of vaccination for protecting individuals against severe illness and death related to COVID-19” because none of the people who said they tested positive reported going to a hospital.

I can't say tim in vermont's 6:00am comment is utterly false: he gives the correct year for the date of the Wounded Knee massacre, though he's off by 10+ on the year of Hitler's birth. But nearly all of it is (a) utterly false and (b) second- or third-hand Russian propaganda.

Three examples:

1. He thinks the U.S. and Ukrainian militaries are lying, and that Russia destroyed a Patriot battery while firing 2, not 6, allegedly hypersonic missiles. Poor fool doesn't know that a battery consists of 8+ launchers, 1-2 command modules, and some other moves, networked and spread over miles of ground. The only way one missile could destroy a whole battery is if it had a nuclear warhead large enough to destroy everything within 5+ miles of impact. Ergo, the Russians are proven to be lying, and the US/Ukrainian claim that one launcher (NOT battery) was damaged by falling debris and repaired the same day with duck tape is plausible and unrefuted. Last I heard the Russians were claiming to have destroyed 35+ Himars batteries, though the U.S. only supplied 20, and most, if not all, are still working. (A Ukrainian factory is making 10 or so inflated plastic decoy pseudo-Himars-batteries every month, and the Russians have certainly destroyed some of them with missiles that cost far more than the decoys.)

2. Poor 'tim' thinks all the Russian-speakers in Ukraine support the invasion, when very few of them do, even in the Donbas. As one Ukrainian noted, it's like thinking that the Irish uprising of 1916 was Gaelic-speaking Irish revolting against English-speaking English, when in fact the Irish rebels all spoke English and most of them spoke only English. They were still Irishmen who wanted to be free of the English, despite sharing their language. So do most Russian-speaking Ukrainians.

3. Only a moron could say that "The Urkainians [sic] have been the ones with genocide on their minds". Anyone who follows @JuliaDavisNews on Twitter knows that Russian propagandists routinely call for the utter destruction of the Ukrainian nation and language, gleefully talk about killing 2,000,000 of them,* not to mention nuking Kyiv, Berlin, D.C., and London. (Top propagandist Solovyov seems to forget that his draft-dodging military-age sons live in London. Hope they don't watch his show!)

*Russia killed 50,000 Chechen civilians out of a population of 1,100,000 to win that war. Ukraine has ~40 times the population of Chechnya, and they want to kill 40 times as many Ukrainians. Only a nation with genocide on its mind would make that calculation.

There are at least 30 other stupidly untrue statements just in that one post. If 'tim in vermont' had ever followed any of the links I've given him in the past, he would know so much more. But he'd rather live and die in ignorance.
