So Sen. Megan Hunt of Omaha has a conflict of interest on proposed legislation restricting gender-affirming care for minors because she has a child who is trans but those who simply do not believe in any gender-change concepts are perfectly legal in favoring the bill.

Well, Dave, I don't believe children should be subjected to such medical treatments either, but somehow the First Amendment comes into play here. Sen. Classification lives wholly in the executive branch of govt. Congress has no power to legislate anything concerning classification.

This law is there to alert the public to potential corruption and financial bias. She could still vote, as long as she filed the form. This overrides her First Amendment rights.

If a bill financially benefits the public at large or a wide segment of the public, then no need to file the form. There aren't more than 500 trans minors in NE.

BTW, The Hill also reported on me. I am hated across the country.

A lawyer friend came to my office and told me that he was no longer my friend because he thought, without evidence, that somehow he would be implicated in my political activities and First Amendment stuff. This guy was a Marine. Wouldn't want to be in a foxhole with him.

They just lie to you all day long, and shut people up who point out the lies, and call them liars themselves, no need for evidence. Nobody cares about evidence.

At age 16, Luka and her parents were duped and tricked by doctors at Nebraska Medicine. They removed her healthy breasts and then pumped her full of drugs. She regrets it. She has a deep voice. She says she has bone issues and is in pain.

The "experts" told her parents: You can either have a living son or a dead daughter. The same line was used at Washington University's gender clinic.
