"Mr. Teixeira’s lawyers described him as compliant — and said he sat on the porch reading a Bible as he waited to be arrested..."

"... but the government painted a starkly different picture. In arguing for his confinement, prosecutors described a panicked effort by Airman Teixeira to cover up his actions as law enforcement closed in.... Investigators found a small arsenal in his bedroom at the house he shared with his mother and stepfather. Inside a gun locker two feet from his bed, law enforcement officials found multiple weapons, including handguns, bolt-action rifles, shotguns, an AK-style high-capacity weapon and a gas mask. F.B.I. special agents also found ammunition, tactical pouches and what appeared to be a silencer-style accessory in his desk drawer.... Prosecutors also made public a series of social media posts from 2022 and 2023 in which Airman Teixeira expressed his desire to kill a 'ton of people' and cull the 'weak minded,' and described what he called an 'assassination van' that would cruise around killing people in a 'crowded urban or suburban environment.'"

I don't know anything about the accused, but I noticed this, from the FBI:

"Inside a gun locker two feet from his bed, law enforcement officials found multiple weapons, including handguns, bolt-action rifles, shotguns, an AK-style high-capacity weapon and a gas mask."

So he is a gun owner, and he keeps his weapons locked up. And (gasp) he has ammunition!

It reads to me like a civil-servant professional trying very hard to make orderly, lawful behavior look suspicious - know what I mean?

I saw this on the back half of my service career. Remember the USS Bonhomme Richard fire?

The pool of desirable candidates dwindles even further. Prior servicemen and women have woken up to the realities of 20 years of forever-war and now have children coming of age to enlist or pursue commissions, and they are advising the military leaders of tomorrow not to join. If this continues to worsen as I believe it will, I will be telling my own sons in 18 years not join.

These are the wages of repeated falsehoods and lies. The wages of woke. These are the types of recruits you're going to see more of, and they will be given greater and greater responsibility because there simply isn't anyone else who will do the job.

FBI/DOJ and the US Government constantly lies about people they arrest, and leak (against the law) information to the media to make them look bad. Here, they're trying to make the leaker look bad.

Here its pathetic. Oh, he has guns. Oh, he made a rude remark while a teenager in a private chat room.

Absurd. But typical for Biden's DOJ/FBI and the NY Times. We all know they're slanted, biased, and can't be trusted. Look for the Leftwing soviet style judges to throw the book at him.

Meanwhile, in Fed run DC, you have cars on the road with $10,000 in unpaid speedy tickets and reckless driving charges. It seems nobody in DC is interested in collecting their traffic fines or getting bad drivers off the road. Result: Deadly accidents.

There is a great unspoken of and unmentionable zeitgeist at work in the nation right now. People are opting out. Nobody needs a civil war if so many people are looking at the tea leaves only to realize the best course of action isn't to do something about it, it's simply to sit back and watch.

Nobody has to catch this falling knife. Noone wants to be obligated. Rome's walls never technically fell, people just decided to open the gates, pack their bags, and find the nearest richest local warlord with a walled villa to shack up with.

Everyday a hundred more people become more convinced that the USA isn't worth lifting a finger to save.

Storing guns in a locker (gun safe) in a bedroom is a bad thing? This complies with blue state safe storage laws and general guidance. But, the government will be the government and often loves to spin.

The assassination van stuff echoes the initial DC sniper eye witness reports -- someone was thought to be driving around in a white van and shooting up parking lots. It turned out to be a dark car with the custom taillight opening.

So he had enough guns to enter a three-gun competition (pistol, AR-style rifle, and shotgun) plus a bolt action rifle that would be used for hunting. Pretty typical among gun owners to have such a collection.

If he was really such a bad guy (threatening to kill a bunch of people, etc.) then the FBI f**ked up in granting a security clearance.

At the FBI. It's on the shared drive. Look for a file called "How to conduct a mass casualty event - For Dummies.doc"

Also, a local TV station, WBUR in Manchester NH, has actual aerial footage showing the kid sitting on his deck reading a bible on the day he was arrested - seems like the defense attorney was telling the truth in that regard.

Anyways, let's keep ignoring what was actually in the leaked documents...

Who the HELL are they going to draft? Meanwhile..
90% of young americans think that america is EVIL! and WICKED

You know what caused the decline and fall of the roman empire?
NO roman citizens would stoop so low, as to join a legion
Damn Few roman citizens were physically fit enough TO join a legion
The romans had to use barbarians to fill their legions...
THEN, Those barbarians sacked rome.

So, the answer to the question: Who the HELL are they going to draft?
is clear: They will draft MS-13.

I am pretty sure that what went on was he was arguing with others on the Discord server, and was saying "They are lying to you bro! Here's the proof!"

Gilbert Pinfold said...

The "guns" seized were airsoft guns that fire a plastic pellet, not ammunition using gunpowder. The released photos show orange tips at the end of the barrels, indicating that they are not real firearms, and no lethality. Same thing with the helmet photo--it's for airsoft as well. Airsoft hurts less than paintball, and is very popular with kids. I taught my younger son to shoot using airsoft guns--he's now a Green Beret OD-a leader.

You know what else the kiddos have to play at the airsoft ranges? Vests, helmets, goggles etc for protection! "Tactical gear"...."armored vests".

The DOJ lies about everything. All is nothing but stage craft for the low information voters.
Owning guns is not a crime. Locking them up is good.
Leaking the results of a search warrant would get a beat cop fired, and prosecuted.

Rule of law is dead, Biden and Garland killed it.

This is a big tell that the real crime will never come to light. They have found the scapegoat, and slaughtered him.

This is all MISDIRECTION. The big issue is how this E-3 Guardsman got access to highly classified intel -- not whether he exercised his right to own legal firearms.
The people responsible for preventing E-3 Guardsmen getting access to highly classified national security information have MUCH HIGHER paygrades, but it seems that the investigators are doing their best to protect them.

The government description is damning of the government that gave him the security clearance, if all which they claim is true. The background investigation required to gain a clearance at this guy's level is supposed to identify these behaviors before they receive a clearance to avoid exactly the problem the government now claims occurred. This goes for Sam Brinton's clearances too.

Railroad this guy if you like, but if true justice is to be served, some career government investigators need to lose their job and clearances, and audit needs to be conducted of who they cleared.
