Not the only place I comment, but one of the few.
Ms. A and I disagree on a lot of things, but we could have a civil discussion and remain friends. Althouse is her house; she allows guests to disagree and argue to keep the place interesting. We are approx same age and both of us are former liberals who are, to different degrees, red-pilled (me way more than her).
There was a month of so when she disallowed comments a while back; I visited much less during that time. I was happy to return when she resumed her moderated comment policy.

I can only imagine the vile comments Althouse doesn’t publish. As for accusations of censorship because someone writes something negative about her, it doesn’t make sense when I have seen and continue to see some pretty vicious comments directed toward her she actually publishes. lonejustice said...: The reason I keep coming back to Althouse blog is that it has not become an "echo chamber" like so many other blogs, like Gateway Pundit, where everyone has to engage in group think. (Star Trek reference to the Borg -- you will be assimilated.) It is not dominated by Trump supporters and misogynists, although they are certainly here, and they do try to control the narrative and berate our host, though unsuccessfully, thankfully, and they do ridicule anyone who dares to disagree with them. But here we get viewpoints from the New York Times, the Washington Post, the Wall Street Journal, the Atlantic, the New Yorker, as well as from numerous conservative outlets. I've criticized her in pretty blunt terms, and she always lets the comment go through (although she once said she thought I may be a troll). She also publishes comments that have to be, in her terms, unambiguously racist, sexist, "homophobic," and the like. She doesn't deserve criticism for her moderation policy, as far as I can tell.
