Does Greg Abbott have a chance at the R nomination? Probably not.
I wonder if his being in a wheelchair would help. Harder for MSM and lefties to vilify.
He has done fairly well in Texas, I would say.
Plus Hispanic wife might help more than hurt.

Watching Sabine Hossenfelder I figured out why non-stretch blouses have horizontal wrinkles between breasts. The vertical path between breasts is shorter than the vertical path over breasts and so you wind up with excess fabric between the breasts, hence the wrinkles. Physics.

Remember the shrinking Great Salt Lake? Utah currently has the most snow pack ever recorded, and there is a month to go. If it warms suddenly next month, there will almost certainly be flooding. Water is always going to be a problem in the western US, but this year it is not going to be a problem for Utah.

INSTANT COFFEE @ 3-2 ran a poor 6th and out of $$$ at the 1 3/16 race won by KINGSBARN wire to wire never threatened. Saved a ton because COFFEE went off at a price I couldn't except fortunately for me. WE ALL FAIRED WELL AT THE BORGATA CASINO floor though.
A few g's for myself and friends from NY ,my wife held her own ,my youngest son (37) down from NY made a few hundred after all expenses. The cigarette smoke was horrendous though, not like NY where no smoking inside. We'll think again before making this den of iniquity. We may fly to Vegas next adventure with MGM RESORT FLIGHTS free round trip, rooms to stay for players. Jersey was overcast and rainy but we only went to Boardwalk one day and it was beat up, not like I remember as a kid in Seaside Heights and Park.Time to chill in early tonight .last few nights battling the bandits till 3-330 in the am..

Abbott a lot more talk than action.
Not even much talk, tbo.

When does Trump navigate his grand pivot re the harmful jabs?
Is he just so flawed and egotistical to be disabled that way?
Why does he avoid showing up on primary cheeleader's shows like Warroom?
Maybe because Bannon is attempting some magical threading of jab denouncing/Trump extolling?
And it's nice for Trump to extend dinner invites to J6 families, but what about spending the $$ gathered for their defense?

I watched the Rh linked video all the way to the end, but I have no way of knowing if I did because Rh’s sales pitch, if you will, included “physics”.

I got a 34” redfish yesterday on a Shimano Stradic 2500, 10lb test, 14lb leader, a medium/light rod, and a half inch gold spoon today off the wall at Perdido Pass. Took about 40 minutes. I’m no Gadabout Gaddis, but that is the best job of fishing I’ve ever done. Thanks to Mark who had a net in his truck!

Did you see how they treated disabled vets Bob Dole and John McCain?

Back in 2016, the MIT Media Lab came up with a ranked list of people/organizations driving political discussion. "Ricky Vaughn," who had only 50k Twitter followers, ranked ahead of NBC/ABC/CBS News, Vox, Bill Maher, Michael Moore, Stephen Colbert and many other high-profile names.

Just a week after Biden took office, DOJ indicted "Ricky Vaughn" (real name is Doug Mackey) for tweeting joke memes encouraging Hillary voters to save time by texting their 2016 vote. He's charged with violating a statute that was enacted to punish KKK voter intimidation. Trial started last week.

"That I haven't covered [the Doug Mackey/Ricky Vaughn] case more is an omission on my part, but it deserves a lot more attention than it's received. This is a helpful thread:"
- Glenn Greenwald

"The Vote-by-Tweet Memes Prosecution Can Go Forward, Court Rules"
- Eugene Volokh

(For people who don't believe something happens unless the NY Times writes about it: Trial of 2016 Twitter Troll to Test Limits of Online Speech)

Ricky was even more hostile to establishment conservatives than to leftists. I get the impression from the center-right's silence about this that they'd be happy to see him go to prison.

rhhardin@ 8:47: Like ”Lem the misspeller,” I checked out the link to Sabine Hossenfelder. I found her to be remarkably intelligent and funny on “Collective Stupidity.” Thanks.

Hossenfelder is worth following. She's very good on physics but, notice, her interest is in communication, making use of what she spent all that time learning.

As a married man, loyal and trustworthy, I kept taking the shorter vertical path, to her eyes which, of course, are up there, close to wear her astute mind is.

OK Meade, what did you do?

Good save.

Thanks.
Hedy Lamar also had an astute mind. She helped invent Wi-Fi.
