Councilman Shot Dead 1 Week After Councilwoman Was Killed in Her Car

"A New Jersey city’s council member, Russell Heller, was shot dead in his car, coming about a week after another New Jersey council member was killed, officials said.

Heller, 51, was found shot and killed outside of his vehicle at the PSE&G facility in Franklin Township, the Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office said. Heller, a Republican, was a senior distribution supervisor at PSE&G, according to reports.

“The Milford Borough Council is deeply saddened by the loss and our hearts go out to his family,” Milford Mayor Henri Schepens told the New Jersey Star Advance publication. “He was so full of life, it’s just unbelievable that he’s gone. Something like this has never happened in borough history. We are very shaken by this.”

A week ago, Sayreville Councilwoman Eunice Dwumfour, also a Republican, was shot and killed inside her SUV outside her home about 15 miles away. Her home is located about 15 miles away from where Heller, a council member for the city of Milford, was reportedly killed.

The Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office, in a statement issued Wednesday, indicated that the shooting appears to be an “isolated incident.” An investigation into the matter is ongoing, officials said."; 2/9/23, 6:26 PM

We are really going to have to defend the first amendment or we are going to lose it. The progressives in congress are diametrically opposed to Turley's points, and even now, still call for greater regulation and suppression of speech. They want to define and own what is mis-information and dis-information, and regulate all speech, and criminalize non-compliance.

It's becoming more and more obvious that people in the world and in the USA are living in different realities. 12 months from now if you rely on traditional news outlets- you might (might!) start hearing about this.

I know people who still believe that Dan Quayle thought people in Latin America spoke Latin. Because he made a joke, an obvious joke, and the media reported that's what he thought.

And how many out there sill thing Hunter's laptop is Russian disinformation? Or that Trump colluded with the Russians? Of course, if he was working for the Russians, the first thing he would have done as POTUS is shut down oil and gas exploration so Russia could get more money for their product. And you know who did that, don't you? Brain addled Biden.

I suspect the average Democrat thinks the only reason we aren't all driving electric automobiles is because of the evil greedy oil companies. (The same ones still hiding the 100 MPG carburetor...) I mean, really, how hard is it to build an infinitely rechargeable lightweight battery that can take you and your vehicle 500 miles no matter the weather and recharge in 10 minutes or less? They have no clue about how a battery actually works. And no idea that a bullet tearing through a fully charged battery is going to release a whole lot more energy all at once then that same bullet going through a full gasoline tank. I'm waiting for an accident where an electic vehicle's battery integrity is completly destroyed and all the stored energy is released at once. Going to be an exciting time for everyone nearby. I want to see the video- I don't want to see it up close...

My Mother spent some time in Sainte-Mere-Eglise, during WWII as an Army Nurse Must have been a MASH unit there. She mentioned the name of towns, but never much talk about her work. She landed on Omaha Beach some weeks after D-Day. I think she sailed from US, off loaded to landing craft and taken into Omaha beach. She said the transferring to different boats was hazy. In other words, it wasn’t the United States or Western countries or NATO that ended any peace talks, such as they were. Rather, it was, first and foremost, Russia’s bloody escalation of the violence.

So much depends on Bulwark mind-reading of what happened in the minds of negotiators.

One can certainly wish Bennett had been clearer in his interview about who ended the negotiations and how. (It seems unlikely that “they” refers only to the United States, since elsewhere in the interview Bennett depicts the Biden administration as occupying the middle ground between the “hawks” and the “doves” and suggests that Boris Johnson was the only “hawk.”)

Then for the coup de grace on those who haven't been nudged into believing The Bulwark's fabricated conclusion, it adds this stunning denouement:

It’s unsure there was any deal to be made. At the time I gave it roughly a 50% chance. Americans felt chances were way lower. Hard to tell who was right.. - Bennet

So their was no deal ready with the ink dry, and the blotter at hand to be signed, and the Americans were grumbling about it, this is the *PROOF* that the west didn't scuttle the negotiations.

But overall, it's maybe a fair assessment to say that the Ukrainian nazis did not want any kind of deal to happen, and that they have a lot of control over the government, so on balance, and ignoring the incoherent arguments of the Bulwark article, I would have to now agree that the Ukrainian Nazis were at least as instrumental in ending the negotiations as their collaborators and allies in the US and the UK government.

There is footage made by National Guard of Ukraine special forces unit that was the first to enter the city after Russian withdrawal.
