"I had to say something/To strike him very weird/So I yelled out/'I like Fidel Castro and his beard'..."

Sings Bob Dylan in "Motorpsycho Nightmare."

That was just my first thought on reading a headline this morning: "Prince Harry is upset his brother didn’t like his beard."

That's a Guardian piece by Bridie Jabour. She muses about sibling strife within her own family, with her younger sister and then as a mother:

[H]aving my own children has only transported me right back to the intense outrage that dogged me whenever I perceived a sibling to be getting different treatment to me. Never mind that you have to treat your children differently, from each according to his ability, to each according to his needs.

Oh! As they say on Reddit: unexpected communism.  Embarking on this blog post, I wasn't expecting a double dose of unexpected communism.

Margaret Trudeau had the same sentiment.

We can't help but run into unexpected communism, to the point where the unexpected is becoming expected. I mean, just a little while ago we were expecting to have the war Rusia is waging with itself. That's gotta do something to the psyche.

Is it really news to people that the family is a communal structure, or is this just a typical reddit hot take?

Communism fails utterly as a social system because it doesn't scale up beyond small kin groups.

Harry presents the caricature of the silly, spoiled royal we like to ridicule. Will and his grandmother present the alternative we like to admire.

Castro is the object of admiration for the lefties at The Guardian.

Thank you Founding Fathers for completely disassociating us from those mindless twit Royals.

Poor Harry. He's not even a spare any more.

Merely another pimple on the monarchy'pimply ass.

Which is itself a pimple on the world ass.

If you're an adult, and you're still stuck on childhood sibling rivalry issues, it might be beneficial to do some work on yourself.

What we're getting now is unexpected communism.

A lot of people (not me) voted for Biden because he sold himself as a 'moderate, back to normal' politician.

That lasted about 2 seconds.

The most radical-left president in history...

It's obvious Harry Markle didn't need to marry Megan Windsor to dispel allegations of his homosexuality.

Harry's his own gay beard.

Never mind that you have to treat your children differently, from each according to his ability, to each according to his needs.

I suspect it's more that parents try to treat their children the same and then realize afterwards (or somewhere along the way) that they do have different abilities, desires, and needs.

Any self-respecting reviewer of "Spare" must acknowledge that Anglo-American readers haven't plowed through such a heart-rending narrative since the death of Little Nell. How Harry managed to survive the unceasing trauma of his Dickensian childhood to write any account of it (cue Ghost Riders in the Sky) is a tribute to Megan's ministrations. We can only hope and pray that the millions in Netflix and publisher advances and royalties give sad Harry some balm to salve his victim wounds.

So which one killed more brown people again, Harry or Che? Oprah forgot to ask.

Ann, you live in Madison. A double dose of communism is the least you’re gonna get.
