"[T]he White House Office of Explaining What the President Actually Meant explained that the president wasn’t suggesting that we were facing Armageddon per se..."

"... but was merely, as is his wont, emitting words, one of which happened to be 'Armageddon,' and everybody should just calm down."

Dave Barry emits some words in "Dave Barry’s 2022 Year in Review" (WaPo).

It is often better to omit than to emit.

Recall the face to face meeting Biden had with Chi-Com premier Xi Jinpingpong. Oh to be a fly on the wall for that conversation. A meeting between the leaders of the two largest military powers in the world, one of which is a blithering idiot.

I am surprised that Dave Barry is still alive. Lefties have grown much more humorless since the days when he was making fun of the Clintons and John Kerry and only lightly skewering Bush.

Just as I thought, the WaPo Karens are outraged by his "bothsideism" instead of just brainlessly praising Joe Biden.

If it was Trump, the suggestion would be he meant the absolute worst of any interpretation and recommend panic until his arrest.

Dave post is a good read.

The White House Office of Explaining What the President Actually Meant sounds very Monty Python-ish, does it not?

Then, Dick Cavett...Let's Do the Time Warp Again...I rather like it.

Gosh, one of the few times I wish I could click through on the WaPo.

It's got that, " I think we're in over our heads." vibe. Does it not?

It's an annual thing for me to read his end of year wrap-up.

Dave's post is available on other outlets without a pay wall. Surprisingly plays both sides well, although some the jokes on the right are a bit lame

Biden's loose impolitic locker room talk is his way of acting Trump.

However, unlike Trump, Biden has never accomplished anything but enrich himself from graft.

I am against Biden and his party, but come on, all presidents sometimes mangle language. Some more than others. R mangles just receive greater magnification.

Our nations political future depends on the “undecideds” ability to differentiate between the way the mainstream media chose to characterize Trumps random emitions versus how they currently characterize Bidens real time emitions.

Biden acted that way long before Trump got involved in politics. By your logic that means Trump's antics are an imitation of Biden's, right?

Biden is carefully curated in a handmade tale of Obama revisited in world wars... Springs, immigration reform, progressive prices, "burdens"... burdens of evidence, and phobic parades.

Armageddon is at least a recognizable word in one of the World's major languages. That's pretty good for President Potato.

Great point, Lance.

Yeronner, my client was not suggesting we were facing Armageddon per se, but as an allygoricul poetic possible outcome of the continuation of existing administration policy.

Armageddon too old for this shit.

Well, you fucked up with the assumption that Howard even knows what logic is.
