They will find out that the only company that sells a relatively "low" price all battery EV is Tesla and that most of them can't afford the other brands. They will have to choose between Musk and walking or Musk and climate change bad actors like gas powered cars or buses.

Currently, Spacex launches more payload to orbit than all the other space agencies, national and private company, combined. I'm guessing your ChiCom allies aren't thrilled about that.
