YouTube always has a few live streams going.

Although major cable news outlets often require you to sign in with a pay-TV provider to stream content live on their websites, many will lift those paywalls for election day and night and even into the next day (Tuesday, November 3, into Wednesday, November 4

…because narratives about why we can’t count the votes in one day anymore need to be disseminated. Also, fewer people are willing to pay to be lied to this cycle…

Foolproof election mechanism

Various rooms, pick a random one to paper vote in. Poll watchers in each room never leave, after poll closes they count paper votes and sign off on it, starting a chain of custody. If the vote splits aren't about the same from each room, something's wrong (easy to quantify, owing to random room choice, elementary probability problem). At least two rooms, but more if needed to make counting votes in a room small enough a problem to finish after polls close. As population goes up, so does the number of potential poll watchers, so it all scales.

No computers. Phone in totals, followed by custody official paper count, add by hand to announce.

Anything with a computer can't be trusted even if nobody wanted to cheat. Too much motivation over too large a support base.

"Even though that article is two years old?"

It takes that long to count all the ballots now. And draw PowerBall numbers...

ABC News is already predicting a “Red Mirage” as the GOP will take leads tonight, and they will be whittled away over the next few days and weeks as absentee counts are slow rolled to give Democrats victories. 2020 all over again. Nice of them to warn us ahead of time.

Same thing as in 2020. This is the new norm. For there to be a RED WAVE, they’ll have to have real 10% margins to overcome absentee fraud in AZ, PA, GA, MI, and Wisconsin.

The Justice Department announced they will be monitoring places like Milwaukee & Racine, WI… Maricopa, AZ, Fulton and Cobb counties in GA, five or six in PA, and added a bunch in Alaska to the list. Probably to protect Murkowski.

The Fetterman campaign released a statement that counting the “votes” will take days if not weeks. Same message was sent from the WH Press Secretary.

This is what protecting democracy for Democrats looks like. Why watch? You're not going to really know anything tonight other than you're getting fucked again. Good luck!!!!

What is missed in the “foolproof” vote counting exercises is probably the most important to prevent “finding” votes after the polls close. Every polling place within 15-30 min of closing MUST declare the number of votes cast that day, the number of absentee ballots they hold and the number of mail in ballots received. ( you would have to have a close off acceptance date a day or so before the election for that to work).

No more “ midnight dumps” or “ mislaid” boxes nonsense. And the totals are not announced until all have been called in - to prevent padding precincts. In fact - the most problematic precincts should be required to post totals first.

I just had this fleeting thought, "Why bother to vote? It's rigged." I won't act on it, but it's what they want. It's demoralizing.

Here’s what will happen in Philly today.

Republican poll watcher will show up and be denied access because of something wrong with their credentials. They will then go searching for a judge to issue a court order letting them in. Strangely, none of the judges will be available. Meanwhile voting continues.

Sometime late in the afternoon a judge will be found after a long lunch. He/she/they will issue an order.

Poll watchers will arrive back at the polling places late in the afternoon and will be greeted by Democrat election officials with big grins on their faces.

I'm not sure 10% is enough. There seemed much larger margins at the end of the 2020 election night that magically transformed to Biden's lead by the end of the week. Remember, Trump had 5 million more votes than any previous President, yet Biden won with 7 million more votes than Trump. 10% more votes than ever before, despite a reportedly unpopular President (that gained more votes) and a guy that ran his campaign from his basement the way a groundhog predicts weather.

In Milwaukee, WI all absentee votes are "counted" in a single centralized location, not at the precincts where they were dropped off or sent via US Mail. This centralized Milwaukee fraud facility put Tony Evers over the top in 2018 and ousted Scott Walker at like 3am. Same in 2020 for Biden. 3am vote dump to put Biden ahead.

GOP Poll watchers at the Milwaukee facility will receive the same treatment as you state in Philly. Same as in 2020. It's amazing the Democrats get away with not allowing poll watchers to watch the polls.

Seems kind of useless anyway since the courts aren't going to do shit, no matter what a poll watcher observes. There is ZERO recourse.

The rest of the state follows voting laws (at least where I live...Waukesha County where our Dancing Grannies are expendable political commodities to the Wisconsin liberals...just like Kenosha). Madison, Racine, and Green Bay are all in on the action too. Each in a slightly unique way.

In 2020 we watched Madison harvest ballots in broad daylight and then mix them in with others to purposefully destroy chain of custody. After the WI Supreme Court ruled drop boxes illegal, Racine just put theirs on wheels. City of Milwaukee has been openly harvesting absentee ballots this year without any recourse.

Problem is, if you're a GOP poll watcher, who wants to hang out in Milwaukee until 3am.

You'll get your car stolen.

Why would anyone pay to watch election results from CNN and MSNBC?

Philly changed counting rules this morning. They will double count all mail in ballots to “to insure the accuracy of the count”.

This will assure that Philly will be the last counts to be submitted in the state. They will therefore know exactly how many votes to manufacture to give Fetterman the win.

I had to drag myself to vote here in Wisconsin. I have a principle in life I like to follow. Basically "only I'm allowed to jerk my own chain".

Another is don't get high after you've drank six or eight beers. It'll wreck your night. You have to get high early on to avoid the spins. It's good life advice. They should teach it at University of Wisconsin freshman orientation.

Anyway, we all know damn well what happened in 2020. I spent 30+ years in Chicagoland, and voter fraud was just an accepted reality. It was openly joked about. Anybody that thinks it can't be planned, targeted, and controlled has their head up their ass, or supports the fraud for their side.

COVID was used to purposefully increase absentee voting among Democrats who drank the kool-aid. It's an uncontrollable, untraceable process, the the holes in the system have been demonstrated numerous times here in Wisconsin, even recently...and those who expose them are vilified and even prosecuted.

I think I may watch MSNBC tonight. I'm guessing the early results will be bad for the dems and it will be fun to watch. But I'm not going to watrch the overnight shenanigans.

How is anyone allowed to change voting and counting procedures the DAY OF AN ELECTION???? And it's not just about COUNTING absentee ballots, its VERIFYING them...signatures, addresses etc... Who cares if you count fake votes twice?

That's basically what Milwaukee did in 2020. There was no "audit" in Wisconsin. They just recounted the same fraudulent votes twice. They know the general population is too busy to pay that much attention.

It's all about protecting Democracy isn't it?

I think Taleb is a very interesting thinker and writer. Sometimes he's really, really irritating though - comes with the territory.

It's mildly, mildly, mildly clearing up now, but it always seemed to me that we should have gone out of our way ( a long time ago ) to get that ivy league tag off of our supreme court justices!

I'd love to see some Big Ten, or Pac Ten law school trained justices at the top! Maybe some man or woman who was really good at contract law or IP or a small town general council practice have a seat at biggest table. . . . . . . odds on that happening are about zero.
