"To younger Americans, 23-year-old Christian Walker is likely more famous than his father. He’s a Generation Z social media phenomenon..."

"... whose own-the-libs stylings as a “Gays for Trump” conservative and Ron DeSantis fan have made him an online influencer, with hundreds of thousands of followers," writes Ed Kilgore at Intelligencer. "His right-wing street cred has given his sudden explosion of fury at his father after the abortion story came out a lot of play. It began with this tweet:" Here's Christian Walker's "anti-woke, pro-common sense podcast" "Uncancellable."

Dude's got a beef with his father.

Even if Hershel is a jerk, he's still a better pick than Warnock.

Lesser of two evils...

Well...needless to say, the Georgia GOP has been for years, and remains an utter shitstorm. Full of Good Ole Boys and Girls without much vision outside of saying you're 'Christian' and a 'Patriot' and for 'family values'. Well, duh. They haven't put up a person with actual ideas and the ability to connect with people since Newt Gingrich was coming up. Love him or hate him, Newt was a walking idea incubator.

The Georgia GOP is so weak, they could not beat either Jon Ossoff, who was Beto before Beto, or Raphael Warnock, known best for hitting his wife, in 2020. And likely won't beat Warnock again this time. And even if they do, what do we get? Herschel Walker, Senator from Georgia? Please.

Georgia is a great state. I lived there for 20+ years and love it and the people there. And it is a state full of vibrant, brilliant, and hard working people. Interestingly, none of them seem to want to run for public office.

The best answer for the long term in almost any non-combat situation is to tell the truth.

Political consultants and people who are involved in politics in general are liars.

The best move for people in society is to limit the power of people who want to be in politics.

Never heard of him until the news told me yesterday that a son was calling his father a liar and a hypocrite. That rubbed me the wrong way. It's highly unusual when an African American person of color is in ascendancy, to have a son or a daughter come out and tear him or her down.

Walker's choosing to play for Trump's later defunct football league was, in hindsight, a bad choice. Running as a candidate for the senate, Walker's only bonafides is that he was once a college football star.

With that meager record, could Georgia afford to make Walker the decider for Georgia in Washington? I don't know. But I'm probably going to vote for him anyway, because the alternative - the out-of-control liberal spending senate - would be much worse than anything Walker alone could do to Georgia and the country.

Walker's son is just too young to realize what is at stake.

We've seen this playbook so many times before that EVERYONE is on to it. The Dems aren't fooling anyone. It's Access Hollywood yet again.

But the thing is this: Herschel Walker may be flawed. He might be really flawed. But even if one cannot vote for the good, still they can try to stop the greater evil.

So Herschel Walker did some bad things in the past. From that we are supposed to be better off with rabid pro-abortionist, anti-family, radical leftist Raphael Warnock?

Serious Question.. WHAT is The Definition of "likely more famous"?
Is this one of those things? where words mean What Ever we Want them to mean?

Here's what famous USED TO MEAN:
Celebrated in fame or public report; renowned; much talked of; distinguished in story;

How many MILLIONS of people consider Herschel Walker famous?
How many people, have even HEARD of his son?

To misquote a famous Spaniard.. You Keep Using That Word; I No Thing That Word Means What You Do

LOL

How much projection can one group of lefties/dems/nevertrumpers (but I repeat myself) squeeze into one blog?

The republicans will stick solidly behind Herschel Walker in Nov. Christian Walker will lose zero followers and will continue to be an influencer. Immediate family squabbles are given a complete pass.

Of course, that doesn't go for a bitter idiot like Mary Trump who has transferred blame for her fathers issues onto DJT and has discovered that she can be very well compensated and highly praised for doing nothing but making up "hot takes" about her uncle.

VA Lawyer Mark: "We've seen this playbook so many times before that EVERYONE is on to it. The Dems aren't fooling anyone. It's Access Hollywood yet again."

There couldn't be a clearer sign that its October and Walker is ahead of his marxist "reverend" opponent.

If Herschel Walker paid for his girlfriend's abortion, doesn't that endear him with college educated suburban white women? Think about how many get stuck with the bill themselves and can't find the guy that knocked 'em up? Or, they fucked some guy that has as much water as a rock.

Herschel's a stand up guy. Get him a pussy hat!!!

Maybe Herschel did pay for an abortion and now regrets it. I'm sure that Herschel was layin' down a long pipeline in his football days. Probably affected the climate. He should admit it and say it was in the first 15-weeks, and he only supports a ban after that period of fetal development.

Since he's got money, he should volunteer to pay for 100 abortions as an act of charity & penance, but they have to be within the first 15 weeks. He could have his picture taken greeting the young women at Planned Parenthood.

The real problem is you're only allowed to go from anti-abortion to pro-abortion. Liberals believe that is personal growth. You're not allowed to change your position as the result of guilt, personal regret, or moral maturity.

Hershal Walker is indeed a broken man. Fetterman is a broken man.

Two broken men who in the past failed morally.

One of them wants to take away my right to defend myself.

One of them wants to censor my speech.

One of them supports open borders.

One of them supports letting violent criminals out of jail and defunding the police.

One of them supports war with Russia.

One of them supports high gas and food prices.

One of them supports turning our public schools into sexual grooming centers.

One of them supports chopping up aborted babies and selling the parts.

The morning radio guy here was ranting about young Walker being BLM, etc. before a caller corrected him.

"Blood is thicker than water," cuts both ways. Family loyalties can be stronger than ideology. So can family resentments.

Georgia: Republicans are still trying to play a Middle Western small town Chamber of Commerce or Rotary Club politics in states that are becoming more "coastal" and dominated by the suburban college-indoctrinated class. Georgia has its political crazies and idiots on both sides, but it seems like it's the Marjorie Taylor Greenes who make the suburbanites cringe more than the Stacey Abramses or Hank Johnsons.

In 2020 Trump’s political incompetence in Georgia handed a likely Republican Senate over to the Democrats. It will be a feat for the ages if his hand-picked 2022 Georgia candidate manages to go down in flames, once again handing a likely Republican Senate over to the Democrats. So much losing.

Temujin: "And even if they do, what do we get? Herschel Walker, Senator from Georgia? Please."

It is clear by now that Democrats, wittingly or unwittingly, are committed to: open borders, erosion of Constitutional protections, inflationary policies including energy dependence, reducing our law enforcement and military capabilities, maiming our children and, in general, diminishing whatever greatness the have left to our nation.

So yeah, personality and warts aside, let's get Herschel Walker, Senator from Georgia. Please!!

I am very cynical about the allegation that Walker is secretly pro-choice and paying for abortions.

I am very cynical about anonymous accusations against anybody. And anonymous accusations that are timed specifically for October, the month before an election, are the absolute worst.

The pro-choice media -- who have been covering up and hiding abortions for four decades now -- can go fuck themselves over any allegations of "hypocrisy." You motherfuckers look in a mirror, you want to see a hypocrite.

Little girl scalded by napalm in the Vietnam war? Run it!

Little baby decapitated by parents who did not love her? Hide it! Hide it! Show no one! It's private!

You fuckers are absolutely despicable.

And why would anybody hold on to a receipt from an alleged abortion in 2009?

The media does not give one shit about the truth of this allegation.

Saint Croix said...

As for the father and son conflict, that is very sad. I think Walker's response, "I love my son," is heartfelt. My heart goes out to both of them.

Sinners run for office. Better to have the sins out in public rather than hide them and lie about them.

Earnest Prole: "In 2020 Trump’s political incompetence in Georgia handed a likely Republican Senate over to the Democrats"

This remains one of the sadder and more pathetic GOPe lies regarding Georgia in 2020.

The corruption of Raffensburger, his entire staff, and Kemp's weakness sent an unmistakable message to republican voters in GA that the entire republican leadership team was A-OK with rampant democratical cheating that everyone could see but was being denied by the Raffensberger team of Zuckerberg-funded hacks who then went on to work with Adam Schiffty-Schiff to try and set Trump up with their public lies about the phone call Trump and his team had with Raffensberger's team of democratical-lite quislings.

Its a good thing the transcript of that call was found, though months later, after the political damage was done, otherwise Raffensberger and his team of dems would have been invited to be front and center at another democratical sham-peachment proceeding.

Sham-peachment, or, as Earnest Prole might say, a wonderful example of pristine objectivity-based "justice" by our upstanding democratical pals.

Kemp was smart enough to not run away from Trump during his campaign and he did, at least partially, address the undeniable corrupt voting shenanigans of the democraticals in GA.

I write that knowing it will likely earn me a rebuke from Earnest Prole who more than likely does not appreciate my casting aspersions on the integrity of GA Democraticals and Democratical-lite Raffensberger staffers.

Strikes me as odd that Walker would have a small gay son.

Most Walker voters won't care about this (or the abortion payment claim), but the media and D's are aiming at undecided women, whom they probably can move off Walker.

I'm inclined to think most of the kid's rant is true or close to it, and maybe also the anonymous abortion allegations, but the political use of them is both weird and hard to assess. D's say nothing wrong with abortion, but attack Walker for allegedly paying for one. And, his weird gay son attacking him is, to say the least, unusual. My guess is Walker loses to at least a couple points, but with good coaching, he could shine at the debate and flip the race his way.

M said...

#1 just seeing a blurry pic of the kid the other day I knew he was gay. How? IDK. Effeminate. The obvious make up you can see in these pics didn’t show in the one I saw earlier. What is up with all these black athletes kids being gay and trans? #2 I will now turn out and vote for anyone on the R ticket in opposition to the Dems. Yeah 99% of Rs just want to slightly slow the destruction the Democrats want to impose on us. That’s better than the alternative. There is no quick ripping off of the bandaid of western civilization and then the pain stops. That’s when the real pain begins. The longer we can slow that down the better.

Remember when "family values" inspired Republicans and worried Democrats? Those days are long gone. So in Georgia we have a guy who tried to run over his wife with a car versus a guy who paid for a girlfriend's abortion.

Which belongs to which party?

Teddy Kennedy, Lion of the Senate! Bad driver when drunk and philandering, though. Drove drunk off a bridge and left Mary Jo Kopechne to drown in his car while he sobered up. Remained in office after all that, not charged for killing his passenger, re-elected and in office until his death from brain cancer decades later. 3rd longest serving Senator ever. Continued abusing women all his life.

Tell me again why Walker is somehow disqualified from the Senate for (maybe, maybe not) doing something legal, responsible, and long in his past from before he ran for office.

That is amusing. Inga, abortion enthusiast par excellance, criticized me for saying that I had done a couple in my residency 50 years ago. I have stated that I am prochoice and have been for many years. Not third trimester but Inga supports the whole nine yards. And she is outraged at me.

Temujin: the GOP establishment here is currently an even hotter mess of leftitarians and old school back roomers. They do suck at recruiting candidates and representing their base and now have caught the bug of identity politics and political correctness from the other side. They're so terrible they threw the Senate. The Democrat Party is a well-oiled mafia. Their candidates and platform are hot messes, but they deliver the bennies to their base -- those who aren't being murdered due to Democrat policies.

I'll still crawl over broken glass to vote Republican. Kemp is a quietly effective governor. I don't like my politicians popping all over with big ideas. Newt Gingrich was smart and funny and could crack as a whip, and now he makes a good talking head, but he's as corrupt as the rest of DC.

It was fun to watch him show up at the Capital with the tiny Toefflers in tow, in their tiny tan matching zippered onesies, when he became obsessed with futurism or time travel or something. And then there was that Life College thing in Newt's orbit with the leader who taught people to "unknot" imaginary auras and erected huge statues of his hands on his campus.

Politics is a Medusa Head. The good and the honest are driven mad by gazing on it.
