"There is a BIG Election in the Great State of Missouri, and we must send a MAGA Champion and True Warrior to the U.S. Senate, someone who will fight for..."

"... Border Security, Election Integrity, our Military and Great Veterans, together with having a powerful toughness on Crime and the Border. I trust the Great People of Missouri, on this one, to make up their own minds, much as they did when they gave me landslide victories in the 2016 and 2020 Elections, and I am therefore proud to announce that ERIC has my Complete and Total Endorsement!"

Wrote Donald Trump, quoted in "Trump endorses ‘ERIC’ in Missouri primary, a name shared by rivals/The former president’s unusual endorsement added uncertainty to an already tumultuous race" (WaPo)(the rivals are former governor Eric Greitens and state Attorney General Eric Schmitt).

Greiden's RINO hunting ad was an embarrassment. This sort of thing won't help Trump if he runs again.

I think what he is saying is that either one will be a good candidate.

But I suspect that the press will spin it as "Trump endorsed Eric, who lost. This adds to the string of defeated Trump endorsees."

I think right now he is at 150 wins, 7 losses. If Eric loses, that will bring it to 151 wins and 8 losses.

Or from 95.54% to 94.9%

Quick, cue Inga THE WALLS ARE CLOSING IN!!!!!

The numbers will change again tonight. Anyone want to bet that PEDJT has more endorsees in the wins than losses column after today? No? I don't blame you.

How many Obama and Biden endorsees have won their elections?

Hahahhahahha.

Here in Michigan, one candidate has been running ads that Tudor Dixon is not Trumpy enough. Then last week, Trump endorsed Tudor Dixon. So funny to me.
I'm not really interested in voting for someone based on their Trumpiness.
Witmer is running unopposed, so I voted for someone who doesn't want to push to enforce the 1931 law banning abortion. That way we won't be an abortion-is-illegal state no matter who wins in November.

This was no error. Doing this is part of what makes Trump what he is.

The clown badly hurt the GOP in Georgia and may do it again in Missouri.

He lost to FJB, of all people, and will be the Dems' best hope in the next few years.

His antics keep the MSM outrage machine humming and alienate the Althouses of America.

At what point do we regard him as the Dems' greatest asset?

No chance of an Eric loss in MO.

The pushback against these Make America Go Away Democrats will be EPIC.

He didn't lose to FJB...the election was stolen. There is NO WAY in hell that Biden got more votes than Saint Obama or anybody else in history. No way.

Note the leftwing D-hack media would never say such a thing about any democrat. ever.

As a Missourian, Sebastian is exactly right. Having Greitens as the R candidate in the fall is the Ds' best chance. Already will be tougher than it needs to be because of Danforth's stunt that will help the Ds.

I dunno, Sebastian. I'm trying to run the alternate reality in my head where he never ran for office. It's been an insane ride, I'll grant you, but I think we're better for it.

It's not secret. Articles have been written about it. And not by the Babylon Bee.

It's not a secret, dumas. They admit they're doing it.
And it's going to bite them in the ass.

Oh god.

Go join Billy Kristol and David French and your other dumbass friends in a hole somewhere.

Then you can go rub a statue of Paul Ryan or Dick Cheney or some other neocon hero in a hole with your friends.

I don't personally like "Clever" things like this.

I realize he is just fucking around with the political class losers.

Not my style. But he has been the best Republican leader in a long long time and I see the benefit of the move.

Sebastian: "The clown badly hurt the GOP in Georgia and may do it again in Missouri."

No he didnt.

It was the Dual Hacks Raffensberger (along with his entire team of pro-dem zuckerberg funded buffoons) and Kemp that did all the damage.

Its getting pretty old having to push back on the spineless GOPe-ers as they continue to project 50 years of establishment hackery onto Trump.

Not to worry Sebastian. Maybe Kasich will win the nomination and save the day for you.

It's a shame that Republican voters are so confused they need an out of work game show host to tell them who to vote for and people who actually live in Missouri may not appreciate having their primary used for a stupid publicity stunt.

Admittedly, it's not as efficient as the Democrat system where they just have party apparatchiks do the voting for the people. This is necessary, of course, for the ones who are incoherent and dead. And all those extra blank ballots aren't going to fill themselves out. But hey- it sure does seem to work.

Braying, steering, subsidizing, and painting demographics are four of several means used to Democratize the vote.

This Just In: Political figures endorsing other political figures comes as a complete shock, shock I tell you(!), to Heywood Rice.

I can't imagine what its like to live each day in stunned dumbfoundedness over everyday political occurrences.

FYI, I seem to recall a certain Republican President who had previously been the Governor for 8 years of the largest state in the union, a long time representative of a large multi-national corporation meeting workers and giving speeches in every manufacturing facility of that corporation across the entire US for almost a decade, prior head of the Screen Actors Guild union, being described as nothing more than a "failed movie actor".

I finally figured out Trump's joke. It was funny, but it doesn't make me admire him more. It was just another reminder that he needs to be more focused.

With Biden, the problem is that he wouldn't deliver the quip cleanly and smartly, but would bumble through it. If he did give it the right delivery people would still laugh and think it clever, though. He would actually be better saying a snappy four word sentence -- if he confined himself to those words -- than reading something off a teleprompter. Repeat the line. He would actually be better saying a snappy four word sentence -- if he confined himself to those words -- than reading something off a teleprompter. YOU smile and leave.

One does find oneself wishing Trump would just shut the fuck up. It doesn't matter how correct he may or may not be, the merits of the issue will be overshadowed by his narcissistic character. The story will always be about him.
