I do not like that chef. He’s no Anthony Bourdain or Julia Child. Just a very negative, foul and annoying guy.
I had that Evel Knievel action figure and motorcycle as a kid.
Broadway Barbara - very funny and well-produced!
That Nurse deserves an award.
Here’s Tanara reacting to the same cooking video. Much funnier and less ill-humored, in my view.

“Everybody’s so creative!”
The sleep tips are very helpful.
Ethics, perhaps. Conflation of logical domains, likely. Spiritualism in an exercise of behavioral protocols.
Chaos (e.g. evolution, life) is order, albeit nonlinear, incompletely, and in fact, insufficiently characterized, and unwieldy, therefore unpredictable, intractable outside of a limited frame of reference.
Great choices, especially Broadway Barbara, Nurse Melissa, and the Yoga Class.
In my experience, chefs are either wonderful and supportive of people's cooking or like this guy. I had an aunt that I swear went to culinary school so she could make well trained and exceedingly snide comments about any and all food prepared for her.
The end of that Knievel landing is spot-on.
So many winners this week. The chef is an ass but his opinion on that garbage was great. Yoga's fake spirituality has always irked me, so the comedian was great. Even the Steve Harvey journalist knows the word was anus.
But Broadway Barbara's shtick was spot on. Every joke landed for me.
#2 Alternate title: Chef punches down.
"Here’s Tanara reacting to the same cooking video. Much funnier and less ill-humored..."
I think the "ill humor" is funny. Nothing against the other person you point to, but I wouldn't call it "much funnier." The funniest thing is the original video.
Most of these are good, but #8 is sublime.

I'm curious whether you've ever worked in a kitchen. It's been a while for me (so things may be changing), but in my experience, chefs were frequently negative and foul mouthed.
For all the people who think he's being too mean to someone who has no business making cooking videos, I wonder how you'd feel about someone making a mockery of the craft you'd spent years of your life honing just to get themselves some attention.
Turkey, Swiss, and Melatonin sandwich. Yummy!
I wonder what the chef would make of it?
Broadway Barbara FTW.
I actually have one of those Evel Knievel toys in the garage. It's totally amazing how level it was through its flight.
Peglegged Picador,
Well, if he made that kind of food. Food people eat for dinner, especially if they are feeding kids, then maybe. But that dish, which I question, wasn't targeted at his demographic. No one would confuse the woman with some a-hole chef, but would as someone who prepares meal for a family.
Liked the lizard/whatever the best, but the chef one kind of made me want to try the recipe. Wouldn't raw hamburger make the whole thing really wet and greasy, though?
I would like to hear the Chef from two comment on the pretentious abstract art in three.
The Nancy Pelosi lip synch had me in tears.
I liked all of those. The lizard Autocrat of the Breakfast Table got me into the right receptive frame of mind for "Yes shittily is now a word." And I couldn't have borne watching that revolting food assemblage without his profane commentary for sanity relief.
The style of abstraction in 3 was endemic in the decorative arts 70 years ago, a popularization of the fine arts painter Mark Tobey, among others. I like seeing it still; and then the sidewalk chalkist, deft and light, a nice palate cleaner.
You broke the Comedy Rule of Three by putting four comics in a row. They were different enough and brief enough to get away with it, but that's something you gotta watch out. The last was my favorite just because his spiel built as it went along, ending on a capper-quote.
Evel Knievel rang the curtain down sensationally. I called him back for an encore.
The Winner: it's the lizard.
Lizard, sidewalk chalk art.
Broadway Barbara is awesome.
I agree that is weird, or worse, to turn a religion into an exercise fad performed in Lululemon pants.
The Family Feud guy had an amusing point but he spoiled it with the one word at a time subtitles.
I do not need the bad-tempered cursing chef.
The artistry and knowledge about perspective of those who do chalk painting on sidewalk always strike me as quite remarkable. Seeing the container of the colorful chalks reminded me that I have my childhood box of pastels down in my basement. They are probably over 65 years old.
The chef is negative and I started out thinking he needs to be linked to on r/IamVeryCulinary, but then I ended up agreeing with most of what he says. Especially about not liking warm pickles and not wanting them on burgers because of the texture.
Loved 'em all. But especially chalk art.
I liked the chef, but Evel Knievel was so stupidly funny that I posted it to my Facebook feed.
I liked chalk art. Sometimes I wonder what I would give to be able to match my hand and my mind's eye.
And I liked the point about yoga being part of the Hindu religion which you can't just take over into your exercise class. I've tried occasionally to say yoga is part of a religion but people just look at me. I listen to people raised in a Christian country and see how little they know about Christianity and I think "how can they possibly understand a religion from an alien tradition which they've studied even less than Christianity." But you can't say that either without the dead-fish-eye look.
OMG watched the videos on the Evel channel, crying laughing!
"You broke the Comedy Rule of Three by putting four comics in a row."
I saw them in sets of 2 and then the closer.
Top marks for the lizard.
Chef is azzhole.
Number 8 is pretentious jack wad. (If you want to be have a super intellectual image don't wear a backwards ball cap and ditch the monotone.)
Broadway Barbara hit all the marks but Evil Kneival had more heart so that was my favorite. m
I like the chef. He tells the truth.
Tanara seems funnier to me (“much” was too much, agreed) because her horror is repressed, subtextual. She wants amateurism and creativity to succeed! I’d have liked the chef better if his “I’m an asshole” realization had come earlier and seemed a sincere source of regret, one against which he struggled with a comical lack of success. De gustibus.
That chef has 1.2 million followers.
Here's a recent one where he likes what happens.
He starts out flat and observes and he specifies and shows his opinion unfolding. I like the element of surprise. Is he going to like this?
