Been looking forward to your TikTok list. Just wondering, read about compromises on that venue. If you just watch, (without installing TikTok app,) are you still at risk?

Wikipedia has an annoying flaw.

In some pages they call a music group a band. To me a group only sings and a band sings and plays instruments.

I suppose it's no big deal. Though, to an "encyclopedia" it ought to be a big deal.

And the high priest tore his clothes and he said, "What need we of any further witnesses?" In other words, "We don't need a witness. This guy has witnessed against Himself. What do you think of this?" And they all said, "It's blasphemy!" "What shall we do to Him?" "Let Him be put to death." Well, there's no way the Roman court is going to put a man to death for blasphemy against the Jewish religion. So they had to develop other charges when they brought Jesus before Pilate because their religious charges would not hold any credence in a Roman court. (Commentary by Chuck Smith, Blue Letter Bible circa 1982)

"And straightway in the morning [this trial was at night,] the chief priests [they gathered together the whole council, and they] held a consultation with the elders and scribes and the whole council, and bound Jesus, and carried him away, and delivered him to Pilate. (Mark 15:1-2)

Now, no doubt the charges that they brought against Jesus were charges of insurrection against Rome, claiming that He was a king. And they did throw in the charge, though it was a false charge that He said they should not pay taxes to Caesar. So basically, the only charges that they could bring against the Rome court against Jesus would be insurrection against Rome. (Also Chuck Smith)

As an aside, a bit later, Barabbus had his charges dropped.

A centrist third party- with Christine Todd Whitman and Andrew Yang.

A centrist third party? Well, according to the media.

Centrist compared to what? Somewhere between socialist and communist?

I watched the first episode of Leave it to Beaver earlier (Tony Dow, requiescat in pace). Was most interested to see the casual way in which Ward's hitting Beaver (the reference thereto or prospect thereof) was presented, and the 2nd grade teacher's teary-eyed encomium to her self-sacrificing profession.

It’s funny how the Fifth Estate is just fine with the fact that the President of the United States has been bribed, via his son, by China.

And the American people seem to be okay with it too.

How did we get to this place? Are we that complacent and uncaring? Are we that corrupt? That stupid?

Bribing Joe wasn’t enough. The CCP still had to intentionally unleash a virus on the world.

I think we all understand why Justice is blind. That is, why statues of Justice uniformly depict Justice, not as physically blind, but rather, as intentionally, and voluntarily, unable to see what is evident to others. As blindfolded.

But why is Justice, always, female?

Russian Advice on Social Disruption - Sounds Like The Office or a Seinfeld episode

The Ukrainian government reported on July 26 that the Russians have developed a 14-page booklet for pro-Russian supporters and collaborators in Ukraine entitled “Handbook for Ukrainian Citizens on Organizing Resistance to the Kyiv Puppet Government.” ... The guide advises pro-Russian Ukrainians to disrupt general societal functioning in many ways, including by giving confusing and illogical answers when asked for advice, conducting Ukrainian conversations slowly to force the interlocutor to offer to switch to Russian, inserting anecdotes to distract from decision-making conversations, not reporting signs of corruption, using extra medicine, creating superfluous documents and requests, and spending more time in the bathroom at work.[45]

The state of Wisconsin allows anyone with a smartphone or computer is able to order an absentee ballot online in someone’s else’s name.

They can have that absentee ballot sent to an address other than the registered voter.

Funny how the "insurrection" depended on using the processes laid out in the constitution and vetted by the Supreme Court for electing the president.

David Begley: The CCP still had to intentionally unleash a virus on the world."

Recall the line from The Hunt for Red October: "The Russians don't take a dump without a plan". The same applies applies to the Chi-Coms. It killed the US economy. The swamp is too terrified to confront them. Think Apple will confront them? The NBA? Importers?

Yes, David. Now the question becomes; What are we going to do about it? It has become Obvious that 81 million of our countrymen aren't competent enough to be involved in our electoral process. The progressive thing to do would be to deny them participation.

A CTtransit (Connecticut) electric bus caught fire and melted to ashes on Saturday morning.

"The Hamden Fire Department said it was difficult to extinguish the fire due to the type of battery in the bus.

“Lithium ion battery fires are difficult to extinguish due to the thermal chemical process that produces great heat and continually reignites,” the Hamden Fire Department wrote in a Facebook post following the fire."
(Hartford Courant)

Looking forward to all-electric fire trucks. As someone quipped yesterday, the firemen can then put themselves out.

Let it be pointed out again that for 50 years we lived in a regime where 70 million innocent human beings were legally slaughtered. Such things do not happen in a vacuum. They have an impact elsewhere in society. It leaves a mark. It creates a culture of death and moral blindness.

If a society and culture is capable of being dismissive of wholesale butchery, yes, they are that complacent and uncaring and corrupt and stupid.

The obvious antidote without changing the process is to persuade voters to vote in person (or your vote might be stolen...). In the case of an absentee vote being received by a voter after that voter has voted in person, I assume it would be thrown out.

Expect a change in the narrative about how voting in person is dangerous.
