Welcome, to the biggest class action lawsuit, in the history of the world
https://abcnews4.com/news/nation-world/fda-warns-puberty-blocker-may-cause-brain-swelling-vision-loss-in-children-rachel-levine

Earlier this month, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration added a warning to gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) agonists, commonly known as “puberty blockers,” indicating there were serious risks for youth who take them.

“The agency considered the cases clinically serious and, based on these reviews, determined that pseudotumor cerebri (idiopathic intracranial hypertension) should be added as a warning and precaution in product labeling for all GnRH agonist formulations approved for use in pediatric patients

The warning seems to conflict with U.S. Assistant Secretary of Health Rachel Levine’s claim that “there is no argument among medical professionals” that youth access to “gender-affirming care,” such as puberty blockers, is valuable and important.

I’m sure Pelosi’s trip to Taiwan will work out as well for them and the US as much as Klobuchar, McCain and Lindsey Graham’s 2016 trip to Ukraine did.

Reports are China considers this a redline. Like Ukraine flirting with joining NATO. I don’t think these are Obama type redlines.

David Burge - Iowahawk, has a thing on twitter #DavesCarIDService where he identifies vehicles in submitted photos. The enhancement is that the emphases is on old family pics. Most are early/mid 20c, really cool. Parents and grandparents of boomers. People that lived before or shortly after refrigeration became common. People that, even still, in the early 70's would spend 10 minutes getting the last half teaspoon of ketchup out of the bottle.
Some young boomers too.

The news isn't covering this, but I am sure the consumer is still aware. New car prices are way up, driving used car prices even further up, and trickle down effect is this: I was talking to my mechanic yesterday and he was telling me how difficult it was to find parts for cars he needs to repair. Cars people would normally recycle are now being kept in service longer and parts are in higher demand but supply chain issues are still there, so there is double pressure on the parts market. It surprises me that the media is not covering this significant human interest story (not).

I have several vehicles bought in the last few years that if my kids didn't need them, I could sell back to the dealership for more money than I bought them for.

A euphemism for transgender conversion therapy, an experimental treatment performed without consent, and often with em-pathetic appeal, Choice, or force, through medical, surgical, psychiatric, and social corruption of individuals, community, and national populations by way of diverse outlets.

The problem with the White House hiring of Karine Diversity Hire is the same problem many business people with whom I have talked. If they don't work out, what do you do? Send them packing? That would be the third rail.

Below is a list of Russian losses, equipment and men, in the Ukraine War. The list looks like the our equipment losses when Biden messed up the Afghan evacuation - only here the Russians have the lost the equipment because our friends, the Ukrainians used the weapons we supplied to fight totalitarianism to, you know, fight totalitarianism.

https://twitter.com/DefenceU/status/1553282501673721860

It may be that China thinks that Pelosi or her staff is going to talk to Taiwan about supplying the Taiwanese with the weapons which the Ukraine War has shown to be essential in current wars, such as drones combined with anti-tank weapons. Using these weapons and the HIMARS system, the Ukraine has drained Russia's combat ready army without the Russians getting firm hold on anything. And now the Ukraine is working on a counter-offensive. No wonder China is shouting.

@Wa St Blogger, there are dozens, of not hundreds of stories that could begin with your same sentence. People are pointing out that the baby formula crisis is still a crisis. The Biden administration did a few showy actions but there’s no follow up, and apparently no one has the job of fixing it for good.

One thing that most of these stories have in common is that they hit poor people hardest. The educated elitists might decry populism, but folks who can afford a new EV are a bit different from people trying desperately to keep their beater going just a couple more years because it’s a struggle to put food on the table, much less add an auto loan to their family budget.

@Wa St Blogger, almost forgot to mention that my son just sold his beloved Ram Hemi back to the dealership for — you guessed it — more money than he paid for the truck new, plus a deal on a Chrysler Pacifica. I hope some day my infant grandson appreciates that his daddy gave up two cylinders, two liters, and hemi heads out of love for his young family.

This is an interview of Micheal Yon by Jordan Peterson. They talk about WEF- farmer protests acrost Europe, climate change, famine… I shared w/my liberal (liberalobnoxiouslyliberal) friend who also dairy farms- organically.

He listened enough to tell me that it’s conspiracy theory territory and why don’t I just nutshell it for him. I can’t- it’s so lengthy and so many topics are covered that one must listen and make their own mind up. Yes? He googled WEF, googled gates as a landowner…

For shots and giggles I asked him: why did a percentage of our federal reserve’s release of oil go overseas?it’s a US reserve… blustery air.

I don't know that this interests Ann enough to blog about it but a noticed a clown in Wisconsin trying to jack the voting system to mAkE a pOiNt.

We had a similar moron in Montana deliberately sign differently on his ballot return envelope, and then call and fess up that he was "testing the system!"

They could at least wait to see if their ruse works or not but I guess they sense their own jerkitude and just have to tell everyone about it like it's just a prank hahaha.

Meanwhile in Seattle the county GOP is knocking doors to ask if the residents noticed anything "fishy" in the last election.

Local GOP showing their asses in a town near you.

It’s Swiss, I think. Brutal and adult themes. Idk.

This past week I had a conference call with several interested parties in a budget negotiation. The person representing the company who was in charge of funding was an African-American woman. She was completely unprepared. She didn't understand basic negotiation strategy. Her phrasing and tone sounded like she was a few years out of the ghetto. She clearly didn't know what she was doing. It was an embarrassment, and I felt sorry for her. But she's representing a large corporation.

My colleague (from my company) after the meeting: OMG WTF?

The only explanation that makes sense: an affirmative action hire that can't be fired.

I'm still waiting for Covid to turn Biden into a superhero, like a spider bite did to Peter Parker. All of a sudden, Biden talks in coherent sentences.

TWITCHY (Posted at 3:15 pm on July 30)

Wikipedia changes the definition of ‘recession,’ and also the definition of ‘definition’

'When we’d heard that Wikipedia had changed its definition of “recession” to more closely align with the Biden White House’s spin that we aren’t in one, we didn’t think much about it … after all, Wikipedia is user-edited — it’s not like when Merriam-Webster changes a definition, as it did this month with “female,” “girl,” and “boy.”'

But then we heard that after a flurry of edits to the page, Wikipedia administrators locked it down, prohibiting further edits...

'...But wait, there’s more. Apparently, all of that arguing about the definition of recession caused Wikipedia’s editors to question the definition of “definition” itself. A definition is now a “fluid statement".'

Once again evoking Lewis Carrol's Through the Looking Glass:

“When I use a word,’ Humpty Dumpty said in rather a scornful tone, ‘it means just what I choose it to mean — neither more nor less.’

’The question is,’ said Alice, ‘whether you can make words mean so many different things.’

’The question is,’ said Humpty Dumpty, ‘which is to be master — that’s all.”

Pres w/ the WuFlu again got me thinking...
Old Joe bows out, Kammie becomes Pres.
It might take a while to get a new VP, maybe til after the elections this Nov.
Red Wave, a deplorable is Speaker of the House.
They impeach Kammie, or maybe she gets the WuFLu from her exposure to the Big Guy, and we have a new and better president.
A by-the-book coup, totally legal.
A non-child bearing human can dream, can't they?
