"Biden is the third U.S. president to visit Israel since 2013, and his visit is undeniably the most boring of them all."
"That’s not a criticism of Biden, however. In fact, the opposite is true – it’s a compliment. The uneventful and uncontroversial first day of his visit, which included fist bumps and handshakes at the airport, an exhibition of Israeli defense systems and a trip to Yad Vashem, represents a good kind of boring, which had been missing from the U.S.-Israel relationship under Biden’s two predecessors. When Donald Trump arrived in Israel in May 2017... [all the media] it had to do was place a camera in front of America’s erratic president... and let his unpredictable behavior and immature understanding of the world speak for themselves.... [Obama's] visit to Israel in 2013 was also great TV drama – a tense meeting between two rivals who had just spent the four years of Obama’s first term fighting each other over endless policy disagreements.... [Biden's visit] truly is a boring visit.... Israel is better off with a president who comes here for 48 hours, sees an Iron Dome battery, pledges to stop Iran from getting nukes, greets the American team at the Maccabiah games, and moves on to his next, more urgent challenges."

His unpredictable behavior and "immature" understanding of the world served us better than any number of "statesmen" and foreign policy dweebs.
Haaretz! LOL
The far left anti-Israel Israeli paper most admired by arab terrorists!
Haaretz makes The Atlantic seem pro-MAGA.
Btw, Haaretz adamamently desires Israel return to its 1947 borders and has declared "zionists" a greater domestic threat than all Arab terrorist groups.
Sound familiar?
"a good kind of boring, which had been missing from the U.S.-Israel relationship under Biden’s two predecessors"
Wait, what? "Boring" is better than moving the embassy to Jerusalem, arranging the Abraham Accords, thwarting Iran rather than coddling it?
"pledges to stop Iran from getting nukes"
Sure, Biden lies are boring, but WTF? Does any Israeli fall for that?
Are the Abraham Accords a great achievement, or are they not? They are rarely mentioned.
[all the media] it had to do was place a camera in front of America’s erratic president [Trump]... and let his unpredictable behavior and immature understanding of the world speak for themselves....
What a stupid analysis. Trump's "immature understanding of the world" somehow prevented Putin from invading Ukraine. Saw a US President step over the 38th Parallel in Korea. Oh, and he warned Germany about too much reliance on Russian energy supply (the German delegation openly laughed at him on the floor of the UN). It prevented dog fights with the Russian Air Force over Syria by telling Hillary and the UN the no fly zone up their asses. And it destroyed ISIS.
The only reason this Biden trip to Israel looks "boring" is because 1)Biden is a senile idiot who is simply a stumbling tourist there, and 2) is part of these shit world leaders that have everyone suffering for their fake climate agenda, reignition of perpetual war, and fast slide toward totalitarianism through COVID medical tyranny.
Middle East seems problems seem like Chicken shit now.

And all he did was lie. Where's Scary Poppins when you need her?? He claimed that Trump walked away from the Middle East on Foreign policy. He did??
I thought he signed the historic Abraham Accords peace agreements between Israel, Bahrain, and the UAE in September 2020 at a White House ceremony. He signed the historic Abraham Accords peace agreements between Israel, Bahrain, and the UAE in September 2020 at a White House ceremony.
Then in December 2021 President Trump announced ANOTHER peace deal between Israel and Morocco — the 4th deal the Trump administration brokered between Israel and an Arab-Muslim state.
So when did he walk away, and what has this imbecile done to help matters at all???

old senile people tend to be boring.
Biden’s trip was boring because of the regional peace negotiated with the help of his predecessor. Also he’s the third US President since 2013 because that’s exactly how many have been available. He was also the third US President to visit Saudi Arabia and the UK over that time. Trips that were equally boring,
Nobody listens to Haaretz.
llHere's a very insightful article from a long time ex-Haaretz editor that explains it:
"pledges to stop Iran from getting nukes"
Like Clinton did with North Korea.
This morning there was a live broadcast of Biden in Israel. I can’t stand to listen to his voice. He sounds so stupid, senile and old. Weak.
Imagine Trump wobbled along like an old man telling made-up stories about his childhood. Imagine Trump had attacked his predecessor Obama on foreign soil. Imagine Trump had talked about "the truth and honor of the Holocaust," or if he'd in effect proclaimed himself to be a Zionist. There would be an uproar. It wouldn't be "boring."
It's "boring" with Biden because the media treats him like a figurehead, someone who until very recently couldn't be criticized, or even accurately and fairly covered. With Trump it wasn't boring. That wasn't a bad thing. It meant the media was asking questions (even if they weren't the right questions). The problem with Trump wasn't that he was interesting or entertaining and attracted attention. It was his wild unpredictability. That could lose him the race if he runs again.
Yes, Trump was erratic and unpredictable, but there's always an uproar from the media when a Republican is in the White House. It's usually calm and "boring" when Democrats are in charge, because Big Media doesn't disturb the public apathy. Wanting politics to be boring means nobody is challenging vested interests. It means wanting the Establishment and the bureaucracy to rule on unchecked and unchallenged.
You gotta manage expectations somehow.
Trump is very popular in Israel. They're naming neighborhoods after him. Understand, they think he's kind of a clown, but they recognize that he was the one who got past the huge State Department apparachiks to make a peace deal.
Biden, they're just very thankful that he's all distracted by the Ukraine stuff so that he isn't bothering them and Saudi Arabia, so they can do what they need to with people like Syria and Iran.
Left, Right in Israel are about the same on these things. The Left was pretty much devastated by the Obama administration, pretty much killed the peace movement.
When people talk about how "the world" didn't respect Trump, and did respect Obama and Biden, they're talking about their friends in the EU. The rest of the world is very different.
ha ha
Let him stay for a month and then see what they say.
Biden is the enemy of israel hamas fanboi robert malley is in charge
Gone, Joey, Gone…
No talk about a “peace process” or “Two State Solution”…
There’s boring and, then again, there’s incompetence.
erratic, unpredictable, immature... k, got it
There is absolutely no situation where the Left, and particularly the opining members of the Left, don't leave reality and stay with their Narrative, despite the events and facts that everyone has seen.
Speaking of Trump, he said, "..and let his unpredictable behavior and immature understanding of the world speak for themselves."
Well, Trump is disruptive. In sort of the same way that Google was disruptive. Apple was disruptive. He changed things not even considered by people like John Kerry, Barack Obama, and Hunter Biden. Or Joe, for that matter.
From Trump- the US Embassy was built and placed in Jerusalem. The US made sure the World knew we had Israel's back and both countries, again, shared intel on a massive scale. (this was cut dramatically under Barack, The Wonder).
The Abraham Accords- which should have won a Nobel Prize, and had Trump stayed in office, would have expanded to include other unexpected participants. Trump was building peace.
Joe Biden and Obama- they're all about feeding Iran who's single priority is to wipe Israel off the map. Our ignorant Israeli reporter seems to think he'd be immune to those attacks. How cute.
Trump had pushed Iran to the brink. Biden has helped the terrorist regime recover and is now taking directions from them.
Yes, Joe is boring. Frankly, so is a Sack O'Potatoes, which is what we could have sent in his place. It would have accomplished as much, and caused as little a ripple, at a fraction of the cost. I suspect Haaretz would still be gleaming over the Sack O'Potatoes as a welcome respite from Trump, who accomplished so much for Israel that they had to actually go to work and report on things they hadn't even considered previously.
What disgraceful reportage.
'No talk about a “peace process” or “Two State Solution”…' Jared Kushner did away with that notion. Until him, there was an endless parade of fools echoing the tried and true canard: "Read my lips! There can be no peace without the Palestinians!"
We know now. There will be peace when Saudi Arabia decides to end the conflict. It would have happened in Trump's second term. Now it needs to wait a little.
"Trump's 'immature understanding of the world' somehow prevented Putin from invading Ukraine."
Assumes facts not in evidence.
Even foreign leftists are desperate to keep hating Trump and propping up Biden. NPC, indeed.
Biden is the third U.S. president to visit Israel since 2013
Um, there have only been three U.S. presidents since 2013. And what's the significance of 2013? Presidents Bush and Clinton both visited Israel multiple times. You have to go back to George H.W. Bush (1988-92) for the last U.S. President that didn't visit Israel while in office. (Note however that Bush 41 did visit Saudi Arabia and Egypt.)
Where is the Obama or Biden equivalent to the Abraham Accords? Anything Biden might somehow accomplish will be built on Trump's foundation. At least he doesn't seem to want to cut and run, like Obama.
Haaretz makes the AP seem like a reputable news source in comparison.
Haaretz hates Israel even more than the NYT hates America.
I try to imagine having so little self-respect that I would write something like this.
Boring. ie, status quo, should not be the goal of such an undertaking. This is not a long weekend to the cabin, intentionally no plans no schedule.
Moving the President about is a huge investment of assets. To attain boring, is a waste.
but they recognize that he was the one who got past the huge State Department apparachiks to make a peace deal.
Another on the long list of President Trumps super powers.
Exposing the State Dept as nothing but sinecures to fill. NOTHING ever happens, except negotiating away the strength of the United States so as not hurt any feelings.
President Trump went into a negotiation specifically stating both sides needed to win. Conversely,The State Dept, first had to figure out what was the maximum allowable to give away, in order to get a "deal".
After all Trump did for Israel (recognize Jerusalem as its capital, Abraham Accords).
Twas ever thus in international affairs: asked if Austria owed a debt of gratitude to Russia for putting down the 1848 Hungarian bid for independence, the Austrian foreign minister said: "Austria will astound the world with the magnitude of its ingratitude."
'When Donald Trump arrived in Israel in May 2017... [all the media] it had to do was place a camera in front of America’s erratic president... and let his unpredictable behavior and immature understanding of the world speak for themselves....'
Good thing he doesn't have an opinion.
Abraham Accords anyone?
Israel can keep Biden if they want. No one in the US would mind.
Biden with a yamaka. Biden at the Wailing wall. Biden with a Rabbi. Good thing, he didn't start speaking in Hebrew and touching women's hair. However, he did say:
“I will once more return to the hallowed ground of Yad Vashem to honor the 6 million Jewish lives that were stolen in a genocide and continue — which we must do every, every day — continue to bear witness, to keep alive the truth and honor of the Holocaust,
What a clown. But no matter how stupid Joe is, or how incompetent he is, he's still better than Trump because...ah...mean tweets.
We get the standard sneer at Trump with no actual, y'know examples. It would have much better for the USA and everyone else if Trump had been POTUS when Putin invaded Ukraine. I think the situation would've been resolved by now.
No, Trump was NOT "erratic and unpredicatable". He kept the peace.
Absolutely zero mention of the Abraham Accords. They are still working, right? That roadmap for peace with Israel still exists, but I bet Biden never uses it with any other countries.
U.S. President visits foreign state with no plan, agenda, or call to action and no results.
"Boring is good"
When people talk about how "the world" didn't respect Trump, and did respect Obama and Biden, they're talking about their friends in the EU. The rest of the world is very different.
Did Biden visit the capitol in Jerusalem? How are the Abraham Accords going ?
Both accomplished by the "erratic and unpredictable" Trump. Biden is boring because he is non compos mentis.
Good visit optics. Horrendous Middle East policies.
Biden is a corrupt a-hole. Biden is a crook. Allowed his corruption by the press and our eroding 2-tierd justice system.
The writer of that claptrap likes vegetables. And so the vegetable came to Israel on a boring visit and he's good with that.
Presidents visit other countries only to show foreign policy gravitas.
It's only a photo op.
In Uncle Joe's case, it's a photo malaprop.
I can completely understand seeing "horror" on the teleprompter and reading "honor" instead. Two lower case Rs can look like an N.
But under what definition does calling the Holocaust an honor become boring?
Watch Biden shake hands with the air again at press conference in Israel today.
This isn’t boring. It’s like watching Mr. Magoo.
"pledges to stop Iran from getting nukes."
So far Democratic presidents have made this pledge and broken it repeatedly. I don't expect it will go better with Biden.
"Biden with a yamaka."
Yarmulke.
The big question is will the Abraham Accords actually make the news? If Biden could find some way to take credit for them you know they would be touted as the second coming of Carter's Camp David agreements.
Why can't people, especially those who pride themselves on being "Sophisticated" or "Knowledgable" stop insulting Trump without giving any examples. It seems to be some sort of tic or 'Class marker' as opposed to reality. I guess they have to show everyone they're not one of "Those people" y'know those declasse "trump supporters".
So they're always saying crap like: "I don't like trump but.." or "Trump was erractic and disruptive but..." or "I didn't vote for trump but...".
Trump wasn't erratic or disruptive in foreign policy. If he was, say when he was. The fact is, he disagreed with the foreign policy establishment, and the MSM kept trying to portray him as some unstable "bull in a China Shop" - except he wasn't. He tried to get along with everyone including putin, NK, and some others. And he was hysterically attacked for it. He also tried to get troops out of afghanistan and Syria, and was sabatoged by his own DoD.
MSM tried to make him out to be some crazy nut who was going to "Blow up the world!", and then when he became fiendly with Putin or the NK dictator, they accused him of being a traitor!
Obama's visit was a milestone in the Israeli Spring, which was fortunately not a viable conception.
"Haaretz hates Israel even more than the NYT hates America."
People who assert news organs (or individuals) "hate" their countries of origin because they are critical of their nations' policies are childish beyond belief.
In a nation where the citizens have agency, it is the purpose of journalists and concerned citizens to criticize their government when they disagree with their governments' policies or actions domestically or abroad. Slogans and sentiments such as "America: Love It or Leave It" are antithetical to the very idea of a democratic society, and betray utter ignorance and even hatred of the fundamental principles of proper citizenship in a free society.
"So far Democratic presidents have made this pledge and broken it repeatedly. I don't expect it will go better with Biden."
And yet...Iran still does not have any nukes.
Check out the video of Israeli president Herzog showing Biden where to sit and guiding him to his place. I guess it's boring when our president is a vegetable, but is Biden really the best that we can do?
It was just another ho-hum day for Biden, selling our best friend in the Middle East down the river.
Capitalist democracy with historic political and cultural ties to the USA? Who needs 'em?
"That’s not a criticism of Biden, however. In fact, the opposite is true – it’s a compliment. Gosh, that "immature understanding of the world" like understanding that "I'm going to move the US Embassy to Jerusalem" meant exactly that, and so he did it?
That "immature understanding of the world" that led to Israeli peace deals with multiple Muslim countries, and is now to the point that Saudi Arabia is going to allow flights to Israel to go through Saudi airspace?
That's all Trump, 0 Biden, 0 Obama
pledges to stop Iran from getting nukes
Trump meant it, Biden's lying.
So, who is Amir Tibon? Other than a dishonest leftie douchebag?

2022, Biden President: Russia invades Ukraine, causing massive death and destruction

Fortunately, that's not what we're doing
We say they hate Country X because they support policies destructive to X, and oppose policies beneficial to X.
Beating up straw men rather that engaging the actual argument is another thing that's "childish beyond belief." You might want to stop doing it
"Biden with a yamaka."
Yarmulke.
ha ha
Yamaka = cool motorcycle.
Yarmulke = not cool motorcycle
Biden on a Yamaka = President Kamala Harris
which included fist bumps and handshakes at the airport,
The hack either didn't watch the whole video or purposely left out Biden getting lost on the red carpet.
I'm betting the latter.
In a nation where the citizens have agency, it is the purpose of journalists and concerned citizens to criticize their Republican government when they disagree with their governments' policies or actions domestically or abroad.
FIFY, Cook.
"He claimed that Trump walked away from the Middle East on Foreign policy."
That's Biden-speak for "didn't get us involved in any additional foreign 'adventures'." I think that's because Trump knew he wasn't a wartime consigliere and didn't want to risk failing. In which case, his Death Star sized ego probably saved lives.
"And yet...Iran still does not have any nukes."
That's one of those "in spite of" not "because of" things.
I was about to post Haaretz is a leftist newspaper. Their articles seem to be written by Israelis that don't love Israel. A lot like reading the NY Times but more so.
Never fear: Biden's visit should get more interesting when Dementia Joe regales everyone with hair-raising tales of fighting alongside Moshe Dayan in the Six Days War, and his singlehanded capture of Adolph Eichmann.

After these sanctions on Russia, what incentive does Putin have to not help Iran get nukes as well as their best weaponry? What did we keep in reserve?
Russia and China will create channels for Iran to sell its oil regardless of what Washington thinks.

Joe Biden hears this, thinks "boring... I'll show them..."
From Margaret Brennan:

Biden just gave $200,000,000 to the Palestinians for... well, I guess for them to do what they've done with donations for so many past decades, to kill Israelis. Remind me - did Trump give hundreds of millions to the PLO & Hamas? No. He cut about that much, stopping aid because the Palestinian "governments" are terrorist organizations.
Which action will result in fewer missiles launched at Israel? We'll see! Not that boring, if you ask me.

But what we are NOT doing is saying "they hate America because they criticize America", which was your starting bullshit claim.
We are correctly pointing out that the policies they support are destructive to the country, and that if they didn't hate the country they wouldn't support policies that are such total garbage.
And whether it's giving anti-Israeli terrorist a State they can use to wage war against Israel, or opposing enforcement of all US immigration law, we're right, and it's obvious to every sane person who doesn't hate the Country being targeted that we are right
