1. People in 5 different countries show what they would make with an orange.
2. How well could you do if you had to adapt to walking on all fours?
3. Hiking from one coast of Scotland to the other.
5. What it's like being one of the infinite monkeys who will eventually type the complete works of Shakespeare.

#3: I did this across northern England. It's a very pleasant walk.
My fave is the Scotland hike. I’d love the courage to just do things like that!
Number 5.
I don't understand what the fuss was about. So one monkey amongst an infinity of monkeys is fed up with typing and goes home. (Do monkeys go home or go tree?) So what?

Looks like TikTok is spying, but I doubt they will be punished.
Trump should have banned them...
While surfing youtube offered me a video of a guy who made up a rather stupid task, walking from point A to point B but in a straight line. This guy is in GB and his first chosen walk was in Wales.
I guess ya had to make up more and more foolish ventures to get subscribers.
Admittedly it's not as easy as it might seem. Crossing back yards and farm land (avoiding getting run off by owners), forests including the parts where wild thorn bushes are growing, rocks, crags, really steep grades up and down.

Number 2.
This person obviously has no idea how deep and how tragic this walking on all fours goes. If someone has mutations in the gene responsible for the expression of very-low-density lipoprotein receptor (VLDLR), a protein that is known to be critical to the proper functioning of the cerebellum during development, he may have no option but quadrupedalism. Besides being unable to walk upright on the two legs, such an afflicted person will almost certainly have severe speech impediments and mental retardation. At least four families with such mutations have been identified in Turkey.
1) Infinite Monkeys
2) Hiking across Scotland. Looks amazing. But...I'd want a hotel in the evenings.
3) Sundala Sandeko- the orange dish from Nepal. Love Nepalese food but have not yet had this. I will have to try to make it.
4) West Coast Hike. Love hiking, but...I'm at the stage in my life where I prefer the hotel room at the end of the day.
5) Walking on all fours. Why?
6) Roland the Farter. I believe we all have a 'Roland' in our lineage. No? Really? Just me, huh? Oh. I thought everyone had a story about good old Uncle Al.
#1, solely for the Greek orange pie.
1. Infinite monkeys.
2. Walking on all fours.
Some places think they can make apple pie with oranges.
Botanically, I guess the more accurate comparison would be that they can make pollen with an orange to pollinate other trees. Or that the pollen can become an orange.
Happy Farter Day
Ann, it looks like you are fantasizing about a long hike!
I want the orange recipes. Well, some of them.
I was surprised at how much I liked the monkeys. I didn't expect to. There was a missed opportunity, though, to point out that if there are an infinite number of monkeys and one leaves, there are still an infinite number of monkeys--so he doesn't have to be replaced. He can just leave. An infinite number of monkeys can leave without changing anything.
"Highland cow" is pronounced "heeeland COO". Fell in love with the idea of the national walks across Britain after a lovely stay in the Lake District and discovering Wainwright and his fascinating story. One remarkable man inspired the whole idea.
Trained to go for months only to discover my wife's fear of heights made it an impossible dream unless I went off on my own for a couple of weeks at a time. Not going to happen.
When we first got married, my wife, a highly qualified scuba diver, loved staying at dive resorts in remote locations, where "dive" had a double meaning. All your money went for the diving, and not so much for the amenities. Decades later she's a 5 star hotel girl. It's all good.
Starting the day out with some smiles...the infinite monkeys and Roland the Farter (esp. liked the French pronunciation of his name).
Scotland was the nature/history escape I needed. Thank you.
Scotland, WCT, Monkeys.
I looked at the recipes with oranges. Very Good!
Somehow in getting back to the home page, I opened a "wedding dress code" video Part 1. Their wedding was supposed to be traditional White Tie only. Since I didn't notice the PT 1 part, I was surprised when it cut off. From what I heard they had just told the groom's mother her dress did not qualify as "white tie" and EVERYBODY was upset. I needed to see Part II to see what happened. Then I realized it wasn't one of your videos.
But in looking for the video, I looked at the comments on your post and saw the monkeys video - it was very good.
In medieval England, a fart was referred to as a "bumbulum". What it lacks in onomatopoeia it makes up for in dignity and resonance. A good name for a fart that is delivered at a royal court to an appreciative audience.
The hike in Scotland followed by the infinite number of monkeys.
Definitely the Scotland one. I would have thought to just start are Ft William and walk across to Inverness. probably the wimp's way, and maybe that breaks the rule and I'd have to start further west.
Oh, and for those who've never done it: drinking from a highland waterfall is like going to an oxygen bar.
You don’t need an infinite number of monkeys; the infinite monkey theorem involves just one typing for as long as it takes. And it doesn’t even take all that long, since we know one monkey actually did it after only a few million years of evolution. His name was Shakespeare.
Hiking across Scotland!
I love the way some countries allow freedom of movement and camping like that. This may be my retirement thing. If I could get my wife to retire. And if I could get her to fly on a plane. And get her to camp.
Definitely the hike across Scotland. Would love to do that someday, or the hike along Offa's Dike.
I want to see Jen from Sweden describing different colored recipes. Does her hair always match?
