I laugh out loud at the naivete of the NYT. Who are they trying to con? Do they somehow think that NY elections are ruled by the citizen voters? A NY democrat leaves office only when it is too embarrassing to show your face in public.
As with Chicago, I'm not certain New York can function without corruption.
