The intervention of the Wisconsin Electoral Commission in violating law regarding nursing home voting is getting national exposure. It seems that the Democrat attorney general scoffs that lawbreaking should be punished. It suggests that Trump was right in the case of Wisconsin. Elections can be stolen by various means, and breaking laws to turn a block of votes your way is one.

Shouting Covid! Covid! Does not allow changes to statutes by state agencies.

<a href='https://thefederalist.com/2022/03/03/wisconsin-special-counsel-finds-widespread-election-fraud-in-2020-nursing-homes/">Widespread systemic fraud found in Wisconsin Nursing homes.</a>

They surveyed 90 nursing homes. Milwaukee, Racine, and Dane counties had 100% voter participation in 66 different nursing homes. Kenosha and Brown had 97% and 95% respectively in the 25 nursing homes surveyed.

The retired State supreme court justice that investigated issued a detailed and scathing report.

It is pretty clear that the Wisconsin election was blatantly and openly stolen and any real audit would overturn the 2020 election.

The Biden Regime is illegitimate and it is doing massive damage to the people of this country.

I'm really worried about the Ukraine. Not in the standard way that you fret about famines in Somalia or massacres in Bosnia or climate change in Antartica. I mean the kind of worry you get when you're waiting for the results of a biopsy and have a family history of bad news....They're trading live fire at a nuclear plant. It's quite possible things could go horrendously, incalculably wrong as opposed to just wrong.....Putin learned the wrong lesson from Biden, If it's possible for the US to fuck up the evacuation from Afghanistan, it just as possible for Russia to fuck up the invasion of Ukraine. When you're in a live fire situation, things generally get fucked up. I can't imagine any scenario with more possibility for unforeseen, disastrous consequences than live fire combat at a nuclear plant. What are they thinkinng?

Here in Oregon, Governor Kate Brown has determined, presumably by examining her own entrails, that wearing masks will cease to be necessary at midnight, March 11. Of course, it will be of critical importance right up until that arbitrary moment. Now, since this deranged Democrat hack can't even figure out what her own sex is by looking down her pants, it is unlikely that anything she might say could have any bearing on the reality of human biology. Wherefore, I have unilaterally declared her mask mandate null and void.

What is interesting, is the response I get. When I am doing my shopping, without a mask, in the store with the sign out front noting that masks are "required", I find that most people are determinedly noncommittal. When their eyes stray across my non-compliant face, they show no reaction. But a few of them make a special effort to engage me in inconsequential but polite conversation. I suppose this is the technique we have learned from pretending that Negroes are JLTROU.

I got a 2 on Wordle on Wednesday. On Monday, I started with the word STAIN, and totally whiffed -- no letters at all. On Tuesday, I tried STAIN again, and again totally whiffed. I'm a stubborn cuss, though, and tried STAIN once again on Wednesday, got four yellow letters and solved NASTY in 2. Third time's the charm! I used a different word on Thursday, though.

Interesting if true:

Russia’s Looming Economic Collapse
By Derek Thompson

"...While Russia holds the military advantage over Ukraine on Battlefield One, it is getting destroyed by a Western alliance on Battlefield Two. In the past few days, the United States and several major European countries have declared a series of financial penalties and sanctions against Russia that are without modern precedent for a major economy. These policies are triggering a financial catastrophe in Russia..."

In a similar vein, this Twitter unroll:

Jan Nedvidek
@janedvidek
I work in the aviation sector, and I can tell you that for all intents and purposes Russian aviation has - at best - about three weeks before it’s show over.

One aspect is the fact that airspace available to Russian aircraft is very, very limited now. However, there is more:

"...Furthermore, despite the presence of some Sukhois, Ilyushins and Antonovs, the bulk of aircraft operated in Russia is still Boeing and Airbus. Those use CFM, GE and Rolls Royce engines.

All these manufacturers have cut off access to repair manuals without which the aircraft and engines cannot be serviced. They have also issued a global ban on servicing in other countries so that Russian aircraft cannot be flown abroad for maintenance.

They have also stopped the supply of spare parts. From talking to our clients, I understand most airlines keep about 2 or 3 weeks worth of spares supplies.

What does this mean? Russia will be in effect cut off from international travel, perhaps with the notable exception of China. It will be more isolated than the USSR, and even domestic journeys will be severely limited.

Sanctions - if drafted well - do work..."

So how did it turn out? Did the plant melt down? Is the world ending now? After the US fecklessly blundered into this because the Democrats made it radioactive to talk to Putin, are we to blunder into WW3 just to prevent the concession that Ukraine should be non-aligned? How many Ukrainians must die over the principle that Ukraine should arm up on our side?

I am looking at video of the nuke plant, which has changed hands, and what I see is irresponsible outbound fire from the nuke plant and an illumination flare from the Russian side.

I am trying to get all worked up about this, but ever since the US installed the govt in Ukraine via a coup, and that same government has interfered in US domestic politics, and supported the shelling of civilians in the Russian speaking parts of Ukraine, and refused to talk to Putin, while claiming that he was about to invade any minute, it's not easy.

The US knew exactly what it would take to prevent the war from happening, but keeping Ukraine out of NATO was too high a price to pay to avoid this war.

He's here (link to Instapundit, further links there, this is taken from a fragment posted at Instapundit)

I had to dig pretty deep to find some of his recent media appearances, but I didn’t want to let you all down, so I persevered through the interwebs to find evidence of Fauci’s existence.

He recently appeared on an online streaming show called “Woke AF” (As F**K), in which he expressed his disdain for the unvaccinated. In a clip featured by the show host on Twitter, Fauci rants that the unvaccinated have no respect for greater society. Fauci, who comes off as a broken man, channeled plenty of his regular pseudoscience, claiming that the unvaccinated “give the virus the opportunity to circulate among us.”

Perhaps you can fill us in on your qualifications to judge the professional qualifications of Dr. Fauci.

He is not wrong, simply because you disagree with his position on the unvaccinated who don't give a shit about other people dying from the coronavirus.

It seems to me that it is easier to defend his position than defending the sanity of refusing a vaccination.

Listening to argument ad Hitlereum is getting pretty god damm tiresome.

While what goes on clandestinely is probably different, the U.S. has at least formally prohibited the use of assassination as a tool in our geopolitics since the 1970s, and it has been generally accepted for a long time that personally targeting the leadership of enemy states creates significant security risks for your own leadership, as well as being a highly unpredictable method of resolving conflicts. Of course there are gray areas like the targeting of Yamamoto during WWII but I know of no official calls for elimination of Hitler, or even clandestine support for the attempts on his life.

What the usual blowhards and keyboard warriors do is something else entirely.

That's because it has nothing to do with logic. It's all about the feelz.

It has nothing to do with feelz or being happy.

Putin has his war against the people he hates.

The Biden Regime and it's supporters have their war against the people they hate.

They are both indiscriminately bombing people to keep their people diverted.

They are both holding political prisoners.

There is really no difference between them.

But Ukrainians do care if they live or die or suffer or lose their country to Russian subjugation. So they will fight.

It sounds like you don't even know “what it would [have] take[n] to prevent the war from happening.”

As Claire Berlinski recently put it: “This seems a relevant moment to remind readers that dissolving NATO was precisely what Russia demanded in its ultimatum before it invaded Ukraine. It did not demand that Ukraine abstain from joining NATO, as many seem to think.”
