He embraced people of all races, income brackets, and beliefs, never once berating anyone for having different views."

I will decline to comment any further on what is a terrible tragedy and injustice.
I was speaking with my brother in law a few days ago who is in the midst of an estate dispute. The estate dispute began 5 years ago and has no end in sight. It could be 5-10 more years and tens or hundreds of thousands of dollars more. This is not a complex estate, nor is it worth a whole lot. My brother in law will probably spend more on lawyers than it's worth, but he refuses to give in to an executor who has lied, cheated, and made up documentation in the process in order to take from the estate.
This is the state of our justice system today. Speedy trials have been thrown out the window, Fairness is only if both parties can afford the money and time invested to equally fight. And identity politics drives the vigor of state-driven prosecution.

If he had been a wealthy grifter, he would have faced no consequences. We’ve tried the reverse, racialized non prosecution and non incarceration, and it manifestly does not work. We see videos of car jacking, in broad daylight, and wonder why the perps are not jailed, or blown back out the door. I look at Howard and Inga's unhinged rants, and wind up thinking that these are the folks who really bought into the Emerging Democrat Majority BS, especially after the GOP upended what all right thinking people knew was the natural order in 1994. The Democrats were going to resume their rightful place running the country any day, and in 2016 it looked like the time was right. The GOP nominated the orange clown, and the Democrats were going to cap off electing the first non-white President to two terms by electing the first woman. And then it all came crashing down on them. So the Democrats hit back with everything they had, and 2018 went ok but not great. Still, they got their impeachment but those darn RINO Senators refused to stay bought and wouldn't vote to eject Trump. Then COVID hit, and they were sure that 2020 would be their year. They would not only eliminate Trump but they'd wipe the GOP back to a Washington-Generals-controlled-opposition rump that wouldn't be able to challenge them for a generation. But even though they, as they admitted later, 'fortified' the election in every way they knew how, it just didn't work. They got their orange whale but he still got more votes than he did in 2016, and more votes than any other GOP candidate, and far from establishing bulletproof majorities in the House and Senate, they almost lost the House majority and had to settle for a Senate tie.
