Can you find the mask? What's Martha googling on her cell phone? Why is she eating fun-size candy bars?

Such a fascinating picture from the Super Bowl:

Just to help you with the middle question: She's googling who's that guy? Ironically, it's a guy named Guy.

Guy Fieri's FoodTV series Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives is brilliant.

Despite the Los Angeles County mandate for masks in large indoor gatherings, there was hardlyi a face diaper to be seen at yesterday's Super Bowl. Why you'd think those plutocrats (tickets ran several thousand dollars each and luxury boxes were said to cost $2 million) were Canadian truckers.

in the olden days, didn't people wear 'masks' or something?
There was this huge fear of head colds, or something?

"Guy Fieri's FoodTV series Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives is brilliant."

Lots of adjectives apply, but brilliant isn't one of them.

a bejeweled, spikey-hair creep swooning volubly over junk food sets a low bar for brilliance.

2 felons who love each other making bucks together. Ain't it sweet?? You would think with his #Metoo problems she would run being a Progressive, but it just goes to show that they can do and say whatever they want (even shoot President Trump in a video) and they get away with it. Can you imagine if a Country singer shot President Obama in a video and then they gave him the half time show of the Superbowl???

Not to mention a cooking show with somebody like a Martha Stewart!!!

"Can you find the mask?"

The ruling class needs no mask. Their contempt for the plebs is bare-faced.

I like how even if a quick selfie, Guy Fieri is still hawking a Bud Light Seltzer.

Didn’t we used to have a better quality of celebutards back in the 50-60s? The Left’s quest to destroy middle brow culture and replace it with socialism has lead to this.

The plebes in California were given a chance to end the masks and lockdown by voting out Newsome. They refused. 60-40. So, who cares if the Elite flaunt the rules?

And if that picture is untouched Stewart DOES look good for 80. face lifts do work.

That photo sums up what I felt about this Superbowl.

People only smiling when paid or prompted to smile.

Everyone else looks listless.

So few in Rams jerseys. Sums up LA fans.

Is camo wear still a thing? I stumbled upon a Sid Mashburn camo jacket a few years ago. I was wearing it through an airport one day and a woman who looked like one of Snoop’s dancers said ‘nice jacket’ to me. I thought I must have appropriated something or other but seeing as how we were on the secure side of the terminal I shot back a ‘thank you’ in as sincere a tone as I could muster…

That was a pretty exciting game - not that I cared who won - but it swayed back and forth in an exciting way. The stadium was packed and most people were maskless. It would have been "back to before" except it was all anti-social in terms of what society was mandating. The only reason to mention celebs not wearing masks is that the pols, like Eric Garcetti and AOC, and their celeb friends are still mask-shaming and mask-regulating, though they've been mask-cheating more and longer than any other group. And they require the servants at their dinners and parties to mask up while they go free, smiling at each other, face to face, and chattering about how terrible the Canadian truckers are.
PS
N95 masks have several sizes and must be fitted the face by using the right size or they are as useless as cloth or paper. This is reality but a bureaucrat is judged by verbal conformity to higher bureaucrats. So the PHS judges itself by conformity to Fauci, not by conformity to even the simplest reality about N95 masks. My Fauci, right or wrong.

Is there a feature on my iPhone that runs a picture and tells me who a person is? Sounds difficult, if not creepy.

Anybody joining a huge crowd doesn't have covid protection as high on their priorities.

A better test of masks is grocery stores, where everybody, fearful or not, has to go regardless.

You'd think the guy with the Corona "world on fire" t-shirt in the background would have a mask on. Maybe add a fire extinguisher knocking down the flames element to the graphic would be cool, but who would be holding it?

I would like to hear the public health community give an example of when a coronavirus ever went backwards from the state that COVID has reached with omicron. We think that the Russian Flu, which killed *a lot* of people was a coronavirus, and eventually it yielded to selective pressure and became another flavor of common cold, and for a century and a half, has not mutated into a more dangerous strain.

I have heard noise that there is a more virulent version of omicron, but it doesn't seem to be showing up in the statistics about hospitalization and death. It sounds more like a scare tactic.

More Golden State hypocrisy. Why I left five years ago. I still visit and ignore the rules like everybody I know does, except the school kids. I try to avoid Los Angeles. Such a sad decline from my days as a college student there. Orange County is still fairly unchanged except for the real estate bubble.

I'm not that much in contact with the world anymore. The world mostly irritates me so I try to avoid it. I did, however, tune in to this year's Super Bowl and noticed some changes in the zeitgeist. Hard seltzer seems to be in the process of replacing beer.... There was only one heart warming Bud commercial. Where will people find the strength to go on? A lot of expensive ads were for products whose purpose I didn't understand.. Football or, at least, this has become mostly a passing game. No impressive running for daylight or kick off returns.
Have great half backs gone the way of great rock music....It was a good game but had a somewhat desultory impact because neither team inspired much love or hate.
...I guess Snoop and Dr. Dre appeal to the older demographic in the rap crowd. Their music is not for me, but, at least, I've heard of them, which is more than I can say about most rap artists..... I would have liked to see a Glen Miller tribute band play some old favorites during half time, but the world moves on.

She's watching her boyfriend, pimp Snoop, who used to beat little girls then turn them out before he sold them on the streets.

She brings the snacks, apparently.

When I cancelled my subscription to her magazine, long ago, upon learning she was bedding down with a known child rapist and pimp, the girl at the subscription center burst into tears and said the phone had been like that all day.

Apparently Miss Stewart was not moved. She can shove her deluxe tassel maker where the sun don't shine.

Ralph L said...

Someone has treated her shamefully. The camo vest indicates she didn't want to be seen.

Joe Smith said...

She probably has them to throw to the crowd.

But I'd be pretty pissed if someone as rich as her didn't toss me a big bar.

'a bejeweled, spikey-hair creep swooning volubly over junk food sets a low bar for brilliance.'

People have questioned his food, but I have only heard very good things about him as a person. It seems that most people who have been on his show absolutely love the 'Guy,' and that's good enough for me...
