That sky looks good enough to eat. Isn’t life wonderful?

In 1950, Disney produced the movie, “In Beaver Valley”.

Yes, you have likely seen the film multiple times. Probably, in the grade school lunchroom/auditorium.

There’s actually beaver ponds in the park across the street. The ponds are complete with a beaver dam.

I’ve had automatic wildlife cameras pointed at the dam for about a year. Beavers seem to be nocturnal. I’ve never seen them work in the daylight.

What’s next? I suppose Santa Claus, and Biden’s cognitive impairments aren’t real either.

In Our Brave New World... People won't Break In, if you leave your doors open!
Bay Area car break-ins are on the rise, prompting some auto owners to leave their trunks open

We've heard of cars being left unlocked, windows rolled down, but now some people are leaving their trunks open too. It's raising eyebrows as reports of car break-ins are on the rise in San Francisco and Oakland.

A witness who saw it happen wrote on social media, "Imagine having to clean out your car and leaving it open in public, just so people won't break your windows. Oakland we looking sad man."

"It doesn't really surprise me," said Oakland's Interim Deputy Police Chief Drennon Lindsey.

There seems to be something wrong with the comments today. From where I sit, anyway.

A shame. I had so much to share.

I got a text yesterday afternoon from the woman with whom I enjoyed much conversation at a festive luncheon Tuesday. She wanted to tell me the Doctor had assured her she was no longer contagious with Covid at that lunch. Sigh.

I don’t like the proliferation of exclamation points re writing nowadays.

I guess Althouse needs to make sure we know that her “thanks” is heartfelt. Hence: “!”

Sheesh.

My electronic correspondence inbox w/ folks doing stuff for me often includes folks including “!” as they let me know what’s going on.

I agree that the described progress/results are very good. But why the F do these people put exclamation points after their sentences.

These are amazing people doing amazing work, but they make me think that they are r-worded when they use these exclamation points.

Anywho, long story long: I know that Althouse is not r-worded. But she, like others, act like r-words w/ these exclamation points all over the place.

IMHO!

P.S. FTR, when I correspond/type re anything re making dough, I never type nonsense such as “anywho,” that’s just for joshin’ and maxin’ relaxin’. I would never type “Thanks!”. I also never use emojis. And I feel that folks using emojis re anything that relates to making dough is giving off r-word vibes.

P.P.S. Call me crazy but I’m more annoyed re the overuse of exclamation points than I am re the folks that want me to call them a they when they appear to be a he or a she.
