The woman is Penny, Lady Stewart (born Penelope Claire Lancaster, 15 March 1971).
I haven't kept track of Rod Stewart's relationships.
She's 50. He's 76. She looks like she could pick him up and carry him around the house, and there's no reason she shouldn't.
I am more interested in who the woman in the painting is.

There was a time when it was common to see tiny grown men like Rod Stewart with their heads nearly as large as their tiny torsos. Famous mini-men were often caricatured in the media with drawings that featured an enormous head paired with a tiny vestigial body and legs dangling just under the chin. Today, not so much.
It would make a good stocking stuffer.
I've seen Rod in concert at least 7 times. He put on one hell of a show. Definitely one of my favorite artists to see live. I'm happy that he seems very happy. Good for Rod!!

Interesting how two of our favorite lefties immediately jumped on the stature angle, mistakenly of course, just as they misinterpret most other things. Not sure what that says about lefties, but it smacks of insecurity. BTW, my SIL always calls him "The Rod," according to her for at least two reasons.

I noticed many years ago how nearly everyone in show business - especially the males - is short and has a grossly oversized head. Especially those on TV.
My wife told me once how Rod Stewart tried to pick her up in a Ft. Lauderdale dance club some years ago. An interesting tale, to be sure.
His recent appearance on Graham Norton was regrettable.
