BTW, former Bush Staffer "Republican" Matthew Dowd is now running for Texas Lt. Gov as a Democrat. This was after starting a PAC called "Country over Party" and tweeting that "White christian men should give up power to women and minorities".

LOL! And "Conservative" Bill Kristol has just endorsed the Democrat for VA Governor, and praised his Pro-choice Abortion stand. Captain Bill certainly has put "Country over Party".

I think we'll see more Bush/McCain/Conservative Inc guys drop the mask and move to the democrat party. Looks for Lynn Cheney, Mitt Romney and Lisa Murkey to run as Indpendents or even Democrats if they lose the R nomination.

Sorry to comment on another thread here, but I want to take this as illustrating a broader problem, which is that what seems "untenable" to very reasonable people is in fact very tenable to the progressive PTB.

Victimizing peaceful students is a small price to pay for social justice. Just like other "untenable" proposals--green energy to combat global warming, a $3.5 trillion welfare bill, racist "antiracism," etc.
