Don't forget Maya Rudolph's parody of Kamala Harris on SNL. She called herself a "Funt" -- a fun auntie. That was one of the funniest segments on SNL in a very long time. I wish I knew how to add the link...
Or "Function". I don't know the rules. That fits better with it not working - even though my first reaction to the comment was to be contrary and pick something you can make up.
@Whiskeybum, the rules of this puzzle are that you can use any letter multiple times, so long as your word contains the center letter at least once. You get different points depending on word length, but no word can be shorter than 4 letters. If you use all 7 letters in a word at least once, then that is a "pangram" worth a minimum of 14 points.
Entire puzzle page seems to be forcled. Mostly getting server errors trying to access the page. Got to it once or twice, then it flamed out when I tried to access any of the crosswords.

If Cut On?
Sounds like a malfunction at the junction.
Fiction! Sorry...maybe wrong...don't know the rules.
I'm with Joe, I see "fiction". I think the "you can't make this stuff up" primed me to see that.
Inside joke? I have no idea what I'm supposed to be seeing there that I can't make up. (Mary Beth's guess is pretty solid.)

I was mournful by the time they got the puzzle to function.
I C FUTON. Makes me sleepy.
To get ‘function’, you have to use the ‘N’ twice - isn’t that cheating?

missin' K and apostrophe?
Oh, nevermind.
FWBuff - thanks for the clarification of the rules!
@Whiskeybum, glad to do it! It is a fun (and addicting) puzzle. It is one of the only reasons why I still keep a subscription to the NY Times!
Fuction - It means whatever you want it to mean.
