Must have been on some pretty good stimulants. He did start to lose it by the end, especially when he wandered away from the podium and the microphones on it. No adversarial questions at all, Ms. Welker's probably being the closest to being so, and no question for Peter Doocy of Fox News. And like I said previously on this thread....after the press conference, Joe Biden called a lid for the rest of the day. It was a tough day working for an hour answering preapproved questions from the propagandists who work for him from the media.
So, as I listened to this, not just getting a bit here and there, the worst part has to be the immigration part, because I linked above, in 2014 *the Obama administration literally handed children to sexually abusive traffickers and houses that starved them.*
I finally figured out why Inga and he who shall not be named were all upset (they claim) about Trump saying "Pussy!" while they totally excused Joe Biden raping Tara Reide. No big deal on that one.

Hilariously, total R&D in 2019 was $129,424.8M. About half of that ($52,973.3M) is the DoD. DHS is a bit further behind, but a lot of it is cybersecurity, counter UAS and similar defense-oriented funding. Increasing funding for R&D is probably going to increase the funding to Defense.

There were two good questions -- the follow-up on the filibuster and the one about the children walking. Both exposed Biden's hypocrisy... if anyone bothered to hold him accountable.

Coming back to Matt Sablan's point: In any area of research you will find selfless, motivated, dedicated people doing wonderful work. And when you learn of their difficulties in getting enough funding to do what they really want, you may be tempted to shower their field with money. A couple of years after you do, you will find that a small number of groups at the forefront of that field are doing really amazing work. And a much larger number have adroitly sold their efforts, but their priority and their main success have been to capture that funding, build their own little empires.
