"To date, we have not seen fraud on a scale that could have affected a different outcome in the election" — said Attorney General William Barr.

 Speaking to AP News.
The issues Trump’s campaign and its allies have pointed to are typical in every election: Problems with signatures, secrecy envelopes and postal marks on mail-in ballots, as well as the potential for a small number of ballots miscast or lost. But they’ve also requested federal probes into the claims....

Barr didn’t name [Sidney] Powell specifically but said: “There’s been one assertion that would be systemic fraud and that would be the claim that machines were programmed essentially to skew the election results. And the DHS and DOJ have looked into that, and so far, we haven’t seen anything to substantiate that,” Barr said.

Adams solution to this outrageous incompetence on all sides is hard to swallow.

I’m a retired programmer, so I know just how astonishing this failure to establish this audit function is in such a comprehensive and important program, but the reality is that both Republican and Democratic governors allowed this to happen.

I’m still struggling to believe that something this outrageously stupid could have happened on this scale. We literally have no way to verify the outcome of this election. As Adams says, we can’t even say for certain that an election took place.

Adams recommends that we just go with Biden to avoid burning the country down. The election can’t be redone. So, swallow hard, allow Biden to take office, and make sure that this level of incredible incompetence never happens again.

Overturning an election is a very serious step that no court or legislature will take lightly. Red flags are a starting point for investigation, not a conclusion. So there's lots of red flags and lots of accusations built around those red flags, but there needs to be actual hard evidence to stop Biden's inauguration. That could still happen, but it hasn't yet.

We can't dismiss Barr's opinion just because we don't like it. Everyone here knows he voted for Trump.

Losers and haters.

Suckers and losers.

"...[T]here will be a lot of things happening between now and the 20 of January - a lot of things." And with that, Donald Trump was unquestionably correct. It's just that none of them will be leading to his inauguration on that date.

This is all better than I had imagined. Much better than I had hoped. The sheer lunacy of the post-election wallowing. How Trump is driving himself directly out of the Republican Party and into a new pure-conspiracy Trump Party. Shameless and completely psychotic.

I'd be interested in a legal opinion on how statistical evidence is handled.

Statistically there multiple indicators of greater than 3 sigma activity including turnout levels in democratically controlled precincts, the bell-weather counties, the sharp increase in no down ballot votes only in swing states, the changes in rejection rates for mail in ballots, outliers in gaussian distributions of precinct data, and comparisons to Obama and Hillary past performance. If the numerical ones of these were all truncated to a three sigma variation favor of Biden instead of the current high sigma variant, it would mean a Trump victory. Down ballot voting alone might do it.

From a mathematician point of view these are definite indicators that sometime is badly amiss but they seem to be ignored from a lawyer's point of view. If this were a published study on anything else, it would fail all reviews. It seems to me that Lawyers only can work from bottom's up to prove a case.

An interesting look at the election was provided by Monster Hunter Nation who asked fraud investigators their opinions on the election. Their answer was a resounding," Hell yes something in wrong."

It is

fprintf(fp, "ballot#, {votes}, time date stamp");

fclose(fp);

to create and add to an audit log.

The only reason not to do this on an electronic voting machine is to commit fraud.

Now, I know you are kidding. Partisan ?

Have you ever heard of the "Bloody Eighth" in Indiana 1984?

In the ’84 contest, one of the closest congressional races in history, McIntyre, 30, and McCloskey, 47, ended up in a virtual tie that came down to whether a handful of ballots would be validated by election officials. McIntyre was first declared the winner by Indiana’s Republican secretary of state, but Democrats cried foul and the Democratically controlled U.S. House refused to seat him.

For a time, both McIntyre and McCloskey drew congressional pay, but neither was officially seated. Finally, after months of ballot recounts, the House voted in May, 1985, to declare McCloskey the winner by four votes out of 233,000 cast, approving the recommendation of a Democratically controlled House task force sent to Indiana to count the ballots.

Republicans were outraged by what they claimed was the theft of the seat, and the GOP House delegation walked out of the Capitol when McCloskey was finally seated.

You don't know Partisan until you deal with Democrats.

It is a total mystery why Dominion Voting Machines do not produce simple audit logs:

Stenstrom says that in Delaware County he “witnessed unsupervised access by a vendor representing Dominion during which the vendor apparently violated election system certification protocols and inserted jump drives to download and update the aggregation machines counting the vote.”

Stenstrom says that he witnessed election officials violating protocols by breaking the seal on the machine jump drives and comingling them. He believes that this reflects an intentional effort to prevent audits to accurately determine the count.

“This conduct as well violates certification protocols. This evidence joins evidence from Georgia indicating a dominion vendor actually removed the hard drive from an aggregator and took it home with him, thus breaking the chain of custody and undermining the integrity of the count,” Amistad Project said.

I've made a lot of comments the last few weeks about the tactic the Left used - McCarthyism - to infiltrate every institution in the country. The tactic will win 100% political control of an institution in a single generation, and they've been doing it for 3, with absolutely no resistance because the Left spent the entire time screaming that McCarthyism was the worst thing ever in history, and surely they wouldn't be such hypocrites.

This is the result, where every single person someone like Trump even has to choose from for positions like the USSC or AG is at least 90% chance of being compromised.

And that there are NO good "rank and file" members of the FBI and DOJ. Even conservatives have bought that con. It's bullshit. Every single last agent of these departments was chosen by their superiors for a single quality: whether or not they would prosecute important leftist crimes, whether by loyalty or blackmail.

The Republican Party *might* be slightly less infiltrated than the FBI, but not by much. Perhaps only 90%. I'm probably being optimistic.

Anyone believe me now? Has a single thing come out of the DOJ or FBI or the GOPe in the last, hell, 30 years that amounts to evidence the extent of the infiltration?

As we learned in Washington state in 2004, it's obvious fraud occurred. Counting more ballots (as happened in certain precincts in King County) than registered voters is a sure indicator.

The problem is proving how it happened. The left knows this. And that's why they do it.

So, they've chosen to throw out the ballot box. Three guesses as to what comes next.

Qwinn said...

John Henry, sorry, I've made that point clear in my previous posts. For this purpose I define McCarthyism as merely the act of hiring and firing based on political viewpoint. Leftists spent the last 70 years raging that the "Hollywood Blacklist" was the worst thing ever... and then spent the next 70 years almost completely blacklisting any conservative in Hollywood.

Same with academia, lawyers guilds, HR departments, whatever. If there's 9 people on a hiring committee, and only 2 are communists, but the 7 non communists hire based on merit only and the 2 communists propose and vote only for other communists, within a few years they'll increase their number to 3. Then 4. Once they hit 5, they'll have fellow travelers in all 9 positions within a year.

It's an unbeatable tactic, if the other side has been browbeaten for 70 years into thinking that taking politics into consideration when hiring is the gravest of all sins.

N9, I don't think McCarthy was wrong. Obviously not. Communists have spent the last 70 years proving how dangerous and untrustworthy they are, and how not firing every last single one from every important institution is why we are about to lose the Republic.

Once they had made their plans, they started again, and suddenly Biden was ahead. This was fraud. Why should the rest of us believe otherwise? There is no evidence that the pause was not concerted. There is no evidence that actual votes lead to Biden's lead. They were the ones controlling the process, and they need to demonstrate, conclusively, that they followed the law.

Video of USPS contract driver describes carrying ballots from New York to Pennsylvania.

Jesse Morgan: In total I saw 24 gaylords, or large cardboard containers of ballots, loaded into my trailer. These gaylords contained plastic trays, I call them totes or trays of ballots stacked on top of each other. All the envelopes were the same size. I saw the envelopes had return addresses… They were complete ballots.”

Jesse went on to say that he sat in Harrisburg for hours and when he was told to leave the supervisor at the post office would not give him a slip or an overtime slip so he could get paid. Jesse said the manager-supervisor was “kinda rude.”

Jesse’s testimony today revealed that employees at the United States Post Office were in on the conspiracy to steal the votes.

This testimony is devastating. This girl (very cute, which helps in the watching, cause it's long, and it does take her a bit to get to some *really huge points*) was a freelance IT worker hired by Dominion Voting Systems to work the vote tabulation. She was there for *twenty seven hours*. I find her utterly credible.

Everything she relates is completely plausible and utterly horrifying. The Senators try like hell to focus on bullshit details, but she answers all their questions, and by the end they appear to feel obligated to pretend that they'll look into it.

(Among many other things, she says she didn't see a single Trump vote in working the vote tabulation for 27 hours).

Litigating in actual Court is hard, Achilles. Bob Mueller laid out a nice legal case against Trump the Russian agent, but you can't prosecute a sitting President in court.

The difference is:

1. There are hundreds of eyewitness statements signed under penalty of perjury supporting the claim that republican poll observers were kicked out of poll counting stations.

2. Multiple whistle blowers have come out with descriptive and compelling testimony about USPS misdeeds.

3. The Dominion Voting Machines were designed specifically to commit election fraud. I could personally build and code a machine that would produce audit logs and count votes with very basic code. I could make it so the voting machine would save a non-volatile log you could not erase or change that could completely rebuild an election vote by vote.

4. The Pennsylvania Supreme Court has come out with rulings that you cannot sue before the election because there was no tort yet, and they have followed this up with rulings that court filings after the election were not done in a timely manner.

5. There is no way that Biden managed to win fewer than 500 counties and got 80 million votes. The vociferousness that democrats have shown to avoid audits and investigations just confirms they are dirty.

6. There was no good reason to shut down vote counting at 3:00AM in 6 states all at the same time and then to update the counts at 4:30AM with ballots you said you were not counting while multiple people saw ballots being trucked in in mass after poll workers were "sent home."

7. You. Inga, readering. Others. None of you have posted a single reasoned statement. You are all a mix of "lalalalala" and "neener neener." You re turds. Pawns. Losers.

It's great fun reading through the redacted Order and Memorandum to try to figure whose pardon (or perhaps commutation, as I read it) is being investigated.

Think of all of the people of wealth who've gotten something -- a pardon or a commutation -- out of the Trump White House:
Conrad Black
Roger Stone
Michael Milken
Judith Negron
Ted Suhl
Sholom Rubashkin
Paul Pogue
Edward DeBartolo Jr.

Then there are the rightwing media darlings who might have access to some money and some lobbying power:

But wait! Since sister was out, I spent a few days with my brother helping him winterize his cars.

Democrats and not a few Republicans broke those laws. Now we will not accept the results.

I have one of those inhalers, too. The doc I saw today was convinced that I have OCPD because of some note another doc wrote on my records years ago to explain an enlarged heart (which I got from working at high altitude for three decades). I told the doc that, told him I had no problem breathing, just a cough, but the doc insisted I need an inhaler.

Scott Adams says that Artificial Intelligence may have already taken over the operation of all of our essential systems.

And we wouldn’t know it.

Clearly, this comment thread proves that Natural Intelligence no longer exists.

So I called the Wisconsin Election Commission today and had a conversation with a man there. I told him as a Wisconsin resident I was appalled at being again at the center of a voting controversy and we discussed the statistical impossibility of the areas in Milwaukee and Madison going in the middle of the night in several areas for Biden. He said "you don't want Biden to win that's why you are discussing this." I responded, no, I want to know that we have accurate votes - if the majority in our country want him, so be it...but from everything I've seen that seems completely unlikely. His response - prove it. That's the Wisconsin Election Commissions response. Prove it. So here's where I am - a middle aged semi retired realtor. I've been a builder all my life - set up incubators for small business - help low income people rent, helped children in Milwaukee at risk. I'm Catholic and faithful. I'm done. What does that say when I am feeling that our country is over? That I need to protect myself and my family rather than others? It's against everything I have ever felt or done. But I see the writing on the wall. The Democrats on this blog think this is funny, or they feel justified in mocking people who are concerned about this - but truly, I think they are so misled. Right now their tribe needs them, but after this election, no longer. Do they not see that? I don't think I'm much different from most - I just have the freedom to express my thoughts without economic consequenses. When you are dealing with people who are supposed to guard the public trust and they treat you as an enemy - where do you go from there?

My 85 year old father died! He died! It was before the Corona Cooties thing, so no one paid attention. I paid attention because he was my Dad. When I was a sprout, He dragged me into the surf on a New Jersey beach in 1958. I was scared at the time, but he hoisted me on his shoulders and told me to BE NOT AFRAID. I was afraid though. The waves came in and my Father stood against those waves. He calmly said, Be Not Afraid.

Be Not Afraid.

---Now it's my turn to be a supercilious pendant. [Howard]

Well, maybe. But you can't be a pendant with nothing hanging.
