rhhardin said...: I just put 7 175 amp fuses on 7 parallel 12v batteries in the basement. Giving the 15w solar panel in the yard more work to do in keeping them charged, but retaining the ability to do something useful with the power it stores up if the power goes out someday. The fuses prevent an internal short in one battery from sucking up all the power of the other 6 batteries all at once. Done with the power on.
