Exactly. hypocirte hollywood is untouchable.

I'd like hollywood and hillarywoodland to be touchable.

Yo - Antifa - go burn down the real walled and gated pricks who make "the joker" over and over. You won't even get credit.

Two things that violent marxists love: comic books and Denmark.

I am starting to understand why the Catholic Church used to decide what movies could play and when in Boston.

We need a hero. Remember the courageous man standing in front of a tank at Tiananmen Square? A tough dude. And the Chinese didn't loot local businesses and attack others indiscriminately.

Our rioters are dirt bag incels and filth like the Molotov Cocktail attorneys. These punks play video games all day, eat cheetos, hate women and are stuck in a cycle of shame and rage.

I hope she starts to understand how a liberal who gets mugged by reality might become a conservative.
Collective mugging may be less effective than individual mugging.

So I hope she gets what she needs, good and hard.

Some people love riot porn. They got the same thrill watching the Iraq war on TV. "ooh, look at the smart bomb hit that truck". Human nature I suppose. We all rubberneck to see that Car accident. As for the Joker, I believe he was a set upon person who was alienated from society. Is that true of Antifa? We don't know, because the MSM won't tell us anything about them.

Today, during our morning walk, my wife and I encountered an elderly, but still spry, couple getting out of their truck in front of their house. The man was holding a rifle. Curious, my wife asked him if they had been hunting. He said no, they had spent the night with their grand-kids. The kids were frightened due to the rioting and looting going on in their city and since their father is a police officer he couldn't stay at home.

Tim in Vermont: Thank you! Made my morning. I needed a good laugh.

I'm starting to understand why 30 other movies made more money then The Joker, several of them making more than twice as much.

Cuz people bought tickets and stuff.

I want to thank Antifa.

Until now I was blissfully unaware that Waffle House, Gucci, the St. Johns Church, and especially the WW2 memorial were fascist organizations.

My father who fought in WW2, should have also known this and razed them and like minded structures after they were liberated.

Of a piece with their studious ignorance of Antifa, the media are completely 100% lacking in curiosity about pallets of bricks being delivered to staging areas in these riotous cities. Isn't pre-positioning weapons for insurrection an act of rebellion? Is any mayor going to go on TV and demand answers about who is arming the rioters with bricks? Who's buying the bricks? Who's driving a lift truck around setting these in place? Beuhler? Anyone?

Thanks for that, Tim. That is frigging awesome!

What they always forget about the Joker is if he existed in real life someone who take a gun and blow the Joker's brains out the back of his head. Who that would be is up for grabs. It might be a police officer fed up with his rampant murder, it might be someone else in the underworld tired of his crap, it might be a potential victim, heck even Batman might snap after enough murders. He can only survive in his comic book world because his character is so great that they don't want to kill him off.

It is sad to see that many of our mayors and police chiefs apparently use comic books as how to guides.

frenchy said...

That is good, but I'd get rid of the "starting to" part.

Wonderful. Character is fate.

Looks like the assholes calling "Joker" a celebration of incel nationalism would call it "stunning and brave" if he wore blackface. Twas ever thus.

what are you talking about? i have it, on Good Authority;
that ALL rioting and violence are being done by RIGHT WING WHITE NATIONALISTS FROM RUSSIA!!!
that there ISN'T EVEN SUCH A THING AS ANTIFA
that ALL protests have been COMPLETELY PEACEFUL
that NO JUSTICE, NO PEACE
that whitey TOTALLY DESERVES WHAT HE'S GETTING
that there are some REALLY GREAT DEALS at the local Targets! like, TOTAL STEALS!

Back in the Sixties, the radical Left used violence to push liberals into choosing one side or another. I chose to move away from the left over a period of 10-15 years as my understanding increased.

Our leftist commenters are part of the target audience for these riots. Their actions and statements will indicate if the radical Left is successful this time.

This would be a tough time to tell black shopkeepers that they don’t need 30-round magazines for their rifles.

Here's a video of anti-police violence. The rap music adds to the mood so I recommend you have your audio activated.

This is the biggest test of the Trump administration so far.

It is amazing what the left will do to destroy this country.

But it is also a test for us.

We are at the edge of the abyss. On Saturday, I expressed the hope that the riots and the looting would start to abate by yesterday- I had anticipated that the Democrat governors and mayors would finally act to protect their own fucking voters, but, alas, I appear to have been wrong. Just scanning the news online this morning is disheartening- every Democrat everywhere continues to support the rioters and the looters. If you didn't watch Tucker Carlson's opening segment last night when I linked it in the overnight thread, then shame on you. Carlson understands the stakes here, and I don't see any Democrats who do, or if they do they don't show it.

If local politician can't perform their most fundamental duties, then what good are they? These are people who are paid hundreds of thousands of dollars letting their cities be burned and looted to rubble, and are still largely doing nothing to stop it, and mostly encouraging it.

I have loved ones who got caught in the riots on Saturday, and loved ones and friends trapped in neighborhoods where they now don't have pharmacies and grocery stores. And the media is totally missing their stories. People are unsafe in their own homes because the governors don't want to look racist and stop the looting. This after pretending for 3 months that all they cared about was our safety (by locking us up 24/7)

You would think it would be a little bit different when it's a mile away from you, rather than on the other side of the world.

Tucker Carlson said a popular coffee shop in DC got vandalized on Saturday night, not far from his home. Carlson doesn't live in Anacostia. There was looting in Georgetown. Are these upper class champagne socialists still feeling the thrill?

As long as the riots remain in business areas they'll root them on.

Who's buying the bricks? Who's driving a lift truck around setting these in place? Beuhler? Anyone?

I have seen the suggestion, apparently serious, that the pallets are put there by white people (not Antifa, white supremacists) who want to get black people arrested for carrying the bricks.

My grand daughter was worried yesterday as she drove home from a soccer tournament in Phoenix. Her father, my son, was working overtime as a fireman and she worried about violence. Her mother assured her that her brother, who is 15 and 6 foot 3, is capable of shooting the AR 15 so they are fine.

Besides they are in south OC where the crazies are thin on the ground.

The media already know who is distributing these pallets of bricks.

They also know who their bosses and owners are.

They are the same people.

Fear of wanton death and destruction.
Most people are unconcerned about what category of person causes the death and destruction.

PM must have special insights.
Or clairvoyance.

And it was more than 30 years ago, dumb ass.

This video says a lot about the desire to break things. It was posted with the caption, "The best illustration that no one cares about your virtue signaling."
