Poor resource management. For the cost of that you could easily hire a bunch of Korean shop owners with semi-auto rifles and post them on the roof. Shoot or fire on the rabble once and voila! That's the end of that!
My single bit of lefty-inspired jealous schadenfreude came when I heard they had smashed the glassy Apple store in downtown Philadelphia. I was glad, glad; so bad. Don't ask me why! Just miserable, blackhearted hatred must be the only explanation.
Very sharp looking. I hope it doesn't show crowbar scratches. And that it's thick enough.
If I were Apple, I'd be emptying it out the back.
I wonder what happens to China's economy if Apple boards up its stores instead of selling high margin goods from China. But think of all the geniuses out of work.
Is this in an area where there has been rioting and looting? If not, is this essentially different from following someone around the store because you're afraid they will shoplift?
A band of apes saw it first. Frightened and fascinated, compelled and excited. And one picked up a bone, crashing it down, crashing it down, crashing it down.
So they blacked out Apple Music which for $14.99 a month you get to be forced to listen to their selected black playlist instead of the music you enjoy listening to. But no credit for the lost day/s of service.
....and you can still buy an iPad online so more like Half-Blackout Tuesday?
Wow! Madison has what, $250,000 About the same as Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Where is all this violence coming from? I live i n Dade County Fl, population 2,500,000 and while we are having protests, we are not having vandalism, looting and arson. Why is it everywhere that Democrats run things, always turn to shit?

The Miami mayor was on Tucker Carlson tonight. He is the ONLY GOP big-city mayor in the nation. That tells you something right there. He is also an ex-firefighter who served on the force during the Miami riots in the '80's. I notice that people like him and the Police Chief of Detroit (who was a kid in Detroit in the '60's and served in LA during the Rodney King riots) don't have the same tolerance for violence and mayhem that say, DeBlasio and Lightfoot have. That's because they already have experience cleaning up after the riots and understand what it does to communities.
He acted quickly and put the brakes on. And he clearly loves his city.

Yeah my husband needs his iPhone fixed and the stores aren't open to do it.

In Boy Scouts we called it being prepared.
Horizontal version of the 2001 Odyssey Monolith.

The Apple Store is just a front.
That's the local office of "The Men In Black."
Black Plywood Matters
Looks like a spiffy new target.

Just means they'll have to be going in the back. Which is probably hardened enough to slow them down long enough for the alarms to get the cops.
If the cops even want to bother...
I wonder what Apple's Robocop looks like?

The next time you're in Paris checkout the windows of stores.
They all have drop-down metal shutters as easy to lower as a window-shade.
Glass breaks, steel doesn't
Apple is fortunate to have hipster clientele who can appreciate the latest in radical chic retail.
Apple renovated the Carnegie Library in downtown D.C. last year, also providing a home to the D.C. Historical Society.
Looted and set on fire this week.

Looks like a big dark computer screen. Imagine blogging on that.
Riots ought to be more understated. More like Trump tweets.
Is it black to go along with people's black out Instagram posts, or is that just coincidental?
great excuse to close and prevent looting like other cities.
Would it be uncharitable to accuse them of pandering? Maybe it's pragmatism that just looks like pandering.
All for democrats to get power over other people.
FUCK THA POLICE!
I call it "electing Democratics" and getting what you deserve.

Its origin and purpose still a complete mystery.

Ok! How about Whiteout Wednesday tomorrow?

Queue Strauss.

And here I thought it was Apple's nod to whatever stupid virtual signalling crap my leftist friends are doing on Facebook today.
It's like, how much more black could it be? And the answer is none, none more black.
Is this in an area where there has been rioting and looting?"
No, not yet.
...and you can still buy an iPad online so more like Half-Blackout Tuesday?
If Apple truly cared, they wouldn't board up their stores. It's like they're calling peaceful protesters "looters".
Apple could have draped matte black paper on the inside of their glass windows, but they chose to use black plywood on the outside. No fools they.
See how woke they are? Instagram was covered with black images today today. Blackout Tuesday, get with it!

Looks like the gate to Mordor...
But Apple is on their side???!!!! So why board it up?
In normal times, that black expanse is all sparkling clear glass.
Once you go black...

Neat. But the question to be answered is, "Will it burn?"
And we all know the answer, don't we?
