"I'll share with you my urinal — swing-out urinal. In England, they call it the your-RYE-nall..."

Says the eminent filmmaker David Lynch, speaking from his L.A. workshop:

More David Lynch theater here.

We had a similar arrangement with my teenage friend's basement laundry sink, except it involved an encrusted Cool-Whip container.

And, as Lynch works on his your-RYE-nall, "in the meantime I really enjoy hearing what you all are working on."

Wild Palms, now there is a blast from the past. I might have to find that one to binge watch this week.

Carl Sagan always pronounced Uranus YOUR-a-nus instead of the more common and possibly scatological your-AY-nus.

While ur-rye- nal appears adequate for accuracy, volume could be a bit of a problem...

If the upper sink were 10 feet wide it would be the legendary Fenway Park trough.

That swing out urinal used to be known as simply not finishing the sink install.

If designed just right, it could be unisex.

Really, how long have we been "..socially distancing..." versus how long has the industry produced superior "Movies". I think you'll lose out on such an arguement! Having been in banking and lent to the "Movies" [industry] my experience is that the vast majority of all movies (in excess of 95%) do not make a profit.

Yes, I’m wondering if we’re going to start seeing more animation as a result of this.

They also say al-U-min-e-um. But out of politeness I don't laugh at that either.

Only Scandinavian journal(ists) can correctly pronounce urinal. It's in their job description.
