"I do know how he's doing, relatively speaking" — I take that to mean Trump knows relatively more than the reporter. And he has "a very good idea," which suggests he knows quite a bit more than just relatively more than the rest of us. But he "can't talk about it," though to say that is to talk about it.
So what do you think Trump knows — that Kim Jong Un is dead (or in some near-death condition)?

My contribution: Kim Jong Un is in a U.S. hospital being treated for something. While here, he's also taking advantage of being away from his generals and party-loyalty monitors to conduct secret negotiations with the South Korean government, mediated by the U.S. The end of Communism in North Korea will be announced on May Day, 2020.
More likely, of course, we have good intelligence that he's dead, but we aren't saying so publicly either to protect sources and methods or to keep from throwing gasoline on the fire of a power struggle in North Korea. But that's not nearly as much fun.

I thought it was a wrong decision and am glad that they are continuing. For a number of reasons. Entertainment being one of them.
Now I am wondering about the reports. Were they fake news? Did PDJT actually say he was not going to do any more? Is there any video or tweets of him saying that?
Or is it "sources say" that he is not going to do any more?

Since Trump at most times is given to blurting out whatever happens to be on his mind, the most plausible reason for declining to reveal what he knows is that (finally) he doesn't want to reveal classified information that may compromise useful intelligence "sources and methods".

I think Trump has shown he has the discipline to keep his trap shut. It did not go unnoticed by me that Trump could have almost immediately blamed the Iranian's for shooting down the Ukrainian airliner. I'm sure our intel (or other friendly powers) recorded the whole exchange from the launching of russian made missiles to the plane hitting the ground. But Trump held his fire while other intelligence agencies one by one concurred until such time it became undeniable by the Mullahs. That was some fire control discipline I did not think he had in him. I think this will be very much the same. We know. The Chinese know we know. Now sit back and watch it unfold.

Agree. The change in behavior is a clue to me that he is dead or near death. What does he gain from remaining out of sight and otherwise silent amid rumors and reports of his death? This is a guy that is leader for life and has never been shy about huffing and puffing about himself and NKorea.
